• RMAN archive deletion problem in the dataguard configuration

  I have a weird problem in all our databases with dataguard. When we issue "delete archivelog all saved on the drive; 1 times"the archiving that have not been backed up logs are also appear as candidates for deletion.

  To confirm these observations, I did a test in our lab.

  (A)

  On a stand alone DB, I took a backup and then move the log files.

  archivelog all list, any backup archivelog 1 times the disk device type from the list and delete archivelog all saved 1 time on device type disk - all these three orders the results expected. Especially the third command showed only archived newspapers backed up as candidates for deletion

  (b) then I installed dataguard, save on primary and switched some log files.

  Now, list archivelog all and list archivelog all saved 1 time on device type disk yielded expected results.

  BUT delete archivelog all saved 1 time on device type disk shows the newspaper archive, even those that have not been backed up as candidates for deletion. It's curious me as far as command list gives the current results.

  If someone is after that, there is a bug/patch for 11.2.0.4. Patch has solved the problem for me.

• Deletion problem Outlook Express message

  I have 1 e-mail message that when I left or right click on, lock the CPU at 100% and does not open. Cannot remove or virus analyzes the message and go to task Mgr to close Outlook?   Go to view | Layout and turn off the preview pane.  Then go to the list of messages and put in value the message and then use SHIFT + DELETE to remove it completely.

• LR 3.2 keyword delete problem with brush tool

  I can't delete any keyword with the Brush tool. The brush icon wasn't rubber icon changing when I take the brush with a keyword exist on a photo in the grid.

• Remove the delicious Sidebar and save icon

  After my upgrade to FF30 yesterday (it was also a nightmare), FF open with a delicious sidebar and it also put an icon 'save' to the right of my search bar.

  I have no bloody idea whence they came, I do not use Delicious, do not have over the years.

  Before FF30, none of them anywhere to be found.

  How can I remove them?

  Is not a toolbar of Delicious, I repeat, is not a toolbar which can be removed via Add/Remove Windows, nor do I have any of the delicious module.

  I've seen these instructions, they are not relevant.

  I don't have automatic updates to any software, even Windows updates not, I run Firefox in Sandboxie with some permissions, this has not got by me or Sandboxie, it appeared as if by magic with FF30 somehow.

• Super slow beach balls, freezing MacBook mid 2012 Yosemite

  Hi, would appreciate help.

  Yesterday, MacBook has been works ok, but I noticed a few beach balls, lasting a few seconds.

  Today when I turned on the computer, this means balloons lastminute beach. I.e. of clicked on my user login, 3 minutes. Start typing pw, I press the first key and have to wait 3 minutes, then once, every action leads to a beach balls, lasting 5 minutes or more.

• How to remove the hard drive

  You can reinstall Vista, back to new condition (how your computer was when you bought it), and then upgrade to Windows 7 (which will save you money)

  They should do this for a small fee.

  I have a delicate problem with snapshots and delta files. We use a Backup Excel 2010, to make a backup of the machine.

  No I have 110 00000 X - delta.vmdk files if I navigate on the storage. customer vShpere do not appear any snapshot and file vmx (see below) are pointing to the master file (virtuellmaskin). If you read about this error what VMware says that you can delete all files from delta. I moved all the files in the delta and tried to start the machine NO GO. I deleted all files ctk that was created.

  You can't do that by creating relationships. You can set EMP block the WHERE clause as

  emp_id = :yourblock.emp_id

• Downloaded Firefox, had problems, deleted everything, now, nothing works!
