• Definition of channel programmatically in max scale

  I'm trying to define a new scale for multiple channels in max. Currently, I have 8 channels to max and which could lead to 32. I need a way to define the balance for these with my program, I use the cDaq and pci-50xe acquisitions for now, everything is entered analog. Basically, I'm trying to write a program to do the balance for each channel, it should be fairly simple. I can't create all scales needed before running because there are too many different sensors. I want to do it this way, rather than creating a custom scale so that I can have multiple channels in the same task that all have different scales.

  Ah.  you're really talking about application "Calibration factors" to your specific sensors. right (sort of a poor man TEDS)?

  in this case, I use a scale of 'Master' "MyLoadCell" that defines the units and provides a "Nominal" scale and apply to the individual gain and offset each sensor via a scale property node.  You have several ways to store this information in your system.  Named MAX scales can work well in your case and the DAQmx > advanced > configuration scale palette offers two options to get these properties applied to the scale.

• Automatically get new IP settings for the network adapter

  I have a home network with two computers Vista and I have a Vista laptop for work.  Where my work laptop is home it does not automatically connect to the internet, similarly if I want it.  When I go to network and sharing on laptop computer center it displays icons for the laptop, my home and internet network.  Threre is a X red between the network icon and the internet.  If I click on the red X a pop-up window indicates that Windows checks the problem.  Then a box will appear with several options, one if which is automatically "get new IP settings for the NIC 'Wireless Network Connection'.  When I click on a window pops up that says repair, and after a brief interval, she announced that the problem has been fixed, and it was fixed.

  How can I configure things so that she will do it automatically without this manual intervention.  There must be some way because I have never asked a password or permission to continue.

  If I turn off the laptop and then turn it back on a few moments later, the network connection is still there.  The problem occurs when I try again a few days later.

  Thanks for the reply.  I did it.

  I'm not sure it would fix the problem however, because the problem occurs after a day power off and power back up a few days later.  So presumably the power to the network adapter has been disable for power off intervals.

  Something happened tonight when I put under tension.  Asked me to confirm something on the network (unfortunately I can't remember what) and after that, I was connected to the internet - without having to go through the manual process described with my problem.  So maybe something has been reconfigured will correct the problem.   As far as I know that you must add the Group everyone in the folder options. Right-click on the folder-online security-online advanced-online (effective) permissions
  There, you must add the user to the other laptop or for example all users. Then it should work.
  I had this problem for 1 or 2 years and it worked for me.

  A friend of mine told me that he was able to copy the data to a Linux system. You can start form a Linux boot CD/DVD, and then copy the data on the other PC.

  I use LabVIEW to create my custom OI. I already managed to load and run a chosen sequence.

  What I want to do now is to get and, possibly, set each parameter (name, value, type) sequence listed in: 'Sequence Manager'-> 'Variables'-> 'settings '. I want to this after the loading sequence and before we do work... but I don't know how!

  Importing a .nce in max replaces the existing configuration of max with the imported config or import adds new MAX to MAX existing elements (so that both the 'old' and "newly imported" config can be used.)

  in the Import Wizard, you can select what to import and what to do about the elements that are in conflict or exist with different information.  (NOR really did a beautiful job - for equipment OR!)  for some things (like Pickering VXI devices) you are unable to import the MAX settings.

  I get the date maximum start for EACH situation, the employee was, but I want just the maximum start date and status attached to it.

  Suggestions:

  (1) specify all 4 digits of a date - ALWAYS.

  (2) specify the date format when you convert dates, or strings to date - ALWAYS.

  These 2 tips will save you hours of headache... someday.

  You will need to change this image in Photoshop before tracing. Then vectorize with 6 to 8 colors.

  But you'll still need to edit I subsequently. There is no way to get the eyes in this Green using autotrace. It goes the same for lips.

  You must also consider the piece manually.

• Problem getting Gradient Overlay settings making GetObject of PutObject known

  I'm trying to get multicolored and parameters multitranspatent for chassis (stroke, contour) and gradient overlay, layer descriptor.

  So far, I have had no problem to get settings for stroke (list of colors), list of transparency, color and transparency stops, its values RGB places and backgrounds.

  To my knowledge, it must be the same for the gradient overlay, but I'm stuck in one place.

  Here is the hierarchy I found of Getter (I gave the names to the descriptors to relieve me read the code)

  Package specification has "GET_APP_PARAM" with 2 parameters.
  The package body has "GET_APP_PARAM" with 3 settings.

  I tested this out case in my db. Oracle balk when the package body is compiled, but shows no errors.
