  This problem occurs more often when you clicked on a link on a website to bookmark the site. Do not click on "bookmark this site" or a similar link/button on web sites.

  To correct each of the affected bookmarks, make sure that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is selected/checked by doing one of the following:

  • Open the Favorites bar (Ctrl + B to open or close the bookmarks bar), right-click on the offending bookmark, choose 'Properties', last question at bottom above the buttons ' Save/Close.
  • In the library window (bookmarks > show all bookmarks), click on the offending bookmark, click on the button "More" at the bottom of the details (right-hand) pane, item is the last item above the word "lower to."

  After the upgrade to version 20, I have a problem that has never existed before. In fact, after starting Firefox, it seems there are 2 title bars-, both having the iconify, maximize and close buttons on the right. The upper one is called as usual. The second is almost empty except for a new 1-button access button menu. On the first line below these two, I have a regular multiple-entry menu bar, the address bar, and my search bar. (I saw entries in for the old tinymenu addon, which is no longer, I installed. "I couldn't delete them.) I've disabled all my elegant addons, thinking that they might be interacting, but that did not help.

  Also, could you try Tab Mix Plus update to the current version and disable all other add-ons that affect the appearance of the area of bar tools/chrome of Firefox?

  If in doubt, disable all non-essential extensions for testing purposes, then restart Firefox so that takes effect. (I can tell you that NoScript does not cause this problem for me.)
