Ghost lines on copies printed PDF export

I recently met a problem printing PDF file using the adobe reader software:

Whenwhen I print this pdf file in a paper copy is when I begin to see the mysterious blue lines.

The PDF file:

1.png

Paper size:

2.png

Not sure where the blue line comes, it seems that the PDF file contains errors. Please see the attached files (Deswik.CAD-0.pdf - pdf file, 1. xps -on printed paper to pdf that contains the same strange blue line that the paper printed with the printer). Could you please help us to take a look at this issue? Thanks in advance.

Sheikh.

Thanks for reporting this. I can confirm that this looks like a bug. I was able to reduce this PDF for little line geometries and the problem persists: https://files.acrobat.com/a/preview/dc0b7a96-9ddd-443b-89f0-241f373de176

I logged a bug for this track in our internal bug database.

  • Lines of funny in PDF export

    Hello

    I exported just a CC ID document to PDF using the HQ Print preset. In the document, there are images that overlap with some effects (different color fall bevel shadow + emboss).

    I have funny lines in the exported PDF file some disappointed some solids. The lines are pretty well the outline of the images or the effects or the virtual lines where alignment images.

    It is maximized to 400%, but it is also visible at 100% on screen:

    Screenshot-10.png

    Obviously, I would not see those in the final PDF file. I've tried different PDF viewers show all lines.

    I missed a few option on the way or is this a known, problem that I have not yet found the solution?

    Thanks for the pointers!

    These lines are called sewing and are an artifact of the screen of the flattening of transparency.

    What version of ID do you use? The HQ Print preset has not flattened transparency to quit smoking e a few versions now.

  • How can I configure a PDF Export Preset to force a line weight minimum on output?

    How can I configure a PDF Export Preset to force a line weight minimum on output?  I am currently using one that comes from a printer that works fine - but I can't seem to find the option when you create one myself.  I have some place of the line art Illustrator which is built with the thickness of ligne.25 and when I put 20% across the lines are too thin to see in the output PDF.

    PDF presets cannot force a minimum line thickness.

    Use the tool of difficulty released in Production Print tools in Acrobat Pro to do.

  • Change of color in the PDF export and brochure printing

    InDesign CS5 Windows 7 64 bit

    I need to provide a client with both a composite PDF of a manual to use on their website and a PDF of a composite booklet even content to go to print (managed by their printers separations).

    The document is strictly two colors: black and pure Cyan - no other colors involved. Only imports are EPS of CorelDraw format diagrams which also use that same two simple colours.

    When I export to PDF, no problem: Blacks are 100% black, cyans are 100% cyan. When I export this manual, Blacks are still very well but the cyans becomes C:69%, M:14%. 100% Cyan color applied in CorelDraw and applied in InDesign itself all come out them with the same results.

    I tried to change a lot of output and management settings of colors in the print booklet application but still get the same result despite the use of the same what is CMYK color profile used for the right PDF export.

    There are no complications of PhotoShop imports or conversions from RGB image, so I can't understand what is going wrong here.

    Any thoughts?

    I would check the default settings for the PDF printer. Looks like a profile mismatch.

  • InDesign is hampering all by printing or export as PDF

    In InDesign CC 2014.2 I try to print the document or export it to a PDF file. Get it on page 26 and freezes on a document AI in both scenarios. If I print the range 26-33 all goes through and it prints or exports. IT only get the of hung up when you print all pages. If I remove the link, it gets past this page and just be hinders on something else. Same thing, if I just print or export the range that it works. There is nothing wrong or weird on the files it get hung up. What happens here?

    It is quite probably a damaged chart needs to be replaced. You must go through a process of isolation first what page the graphic is one of parts of print to see what are the parts fail, then isolate to a page.

    Then remove the parts of the page to see what room turns out to be defective.

  • Procedures - Studio, PRINT or EXPORT to PDF?

  • Import and update PDF Export Preset

    Hey there again!

    I'm now trying to define a "Preset" for the PDF export process... it is based on the "high quality Print" (preset from the Adobe PDF list), and then I want to change the settings of "one or two".

    Changing one or two parameters is easy, I've done it already, but given that most of them is already defined by the "high quality Print" Preset, my idea was:

    1. Load the Preset 'high quality '.
    2. And after that, change the required parameters
    3. And then export to PDF, of course!

    How is that possible?

    Thank you very much!!

    Best regards.

    Hello

    There are basically two location of pdfExportPresets:

    app folder - "/ c/ProgramData/Adobe/Adobe%20PDF/Settings/presetName.joboptions".

    user folder - "~ / AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe%20PDF/Settings/presetName.joboptions".

    You are able to change those 2nd or duplication with those of 1st (copy of the app folder goes to the folder of the user).

    So step 1 is to reproduce some app preset at user folder (say, change your name)

    and call this copy one be changed by the script.

    To duplicate it using:

    currPreset = app.pdfExportPresets.item("[High Quality Print]").duplicate();
    currPreset.name = "myHResPreset";

    After this, you can change the 1st line of your script:

    myPDFExportPreset=app.pdfExportPresets.item("myHResPreset");

    and run your code

  • Thin lines appear after flattening PDF documents

    Hello

    We export a layout using one of the PDF / X standards or say Acrobat Pro to then flatten the file seems to have thin white lines bordering all previously semi-transparent areas. Zoom as closely as possible, these lines seem to be very negligible thin and therefore not likely to appear in the press. However, this of course made the unusable PDF with the exception of printing (it seems wrong to the normal zoom with all those boxes at random).

    Is this a normal behavior or do change us to another preset PDF or PDF export method? Someone had problems with printers showing these lines artifact?

    Thank you

    JP

    The flattener creates what is called as "atomic regions" in the flattening process... basically it divides the content to the top, create or maintain as required rasters and vector objects. After flattening, these 'artifact' lines are sometimes visible to the limits of the region Atomic if in preferences under Display Page > rendering > Smooth Line Art is running. This parameter has tendency to exaggerate these lines, which is what you see. When printing that they should not be visible.

    Files can be saved as PDF / X 4 that supports dynamic transparency? Keep live transparency must also mean a smaller file than a flattened file.

  • Photo printing, vertical lines when you print multiple images on a page

    I went from iPhoto to Photos. Now I'm having a problem printing (HP Photosmart Premium 309 c) pages with many photos for my annual calendar. Often the picture on the right will have vertical lines. I use PS 14 items.  I did this for years and I am sure that the problem is related to Photos and the fact that my photos are now in the cloud and not on my Mac.

    I recently removed my hard drive iPhoto library - because I don't have enough space on my Air.

    Hello

    Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

    I understand that whenever you print photos of the Photos on your Mac app, the lines appear in the printed image resulting.  The following steps will help isolate the matter with Photos or the printer itself.  To start, please print one of the photographs from the Photos app to confirm a specific photo translates into lines on the printed copy.  After seeing the photo, please export the original photo of the Photos app on your desktop, open the photo in the preview and then print this photo.

    Export pictures in their original format

    1. Select the photos you want to export.

    2. Choose file > export > export Original unmodified.

    3. Click Export.

    4. Choose where to save the exported photo files and then click Export the originals.

    Please report back with the results of these steps so that we can help you.

    Take care.

  • PDF-export truncates report

    When I export my TDR-report (test.tdr in attachment) to PDF I get only truncated reports (see testDIAdem2012.pdf in the attachment). Export to JPG or WMF format is OK. (see test.jpg in attachment). Even the printer output is as expected.

    It does not matter if I use the Menu\PDF file to the export or the following code

      Pads const = "C:\temp\test. TDR.
    SPDF const = "C:\temp\test.pdf."

    Call PicLoad (pads-r)

    PicWidthInScal = 29.7
    PicHeightInScal = 21
    PrintLeftMarg = 0
    PrintTopMarg = 0
    PrintOrient = "landscape".

    If FileExist (sPDF), THEN call FileDelete (sPDF)
    PDFFileName = sPDF
    PrintName = "winspool, DIAdem PDF Export"
    Call PicPrint ("WinPrint")

    Truncated PicPdfExport results in the same report.

    What can I do to get a whole PDF-report page?

    GEMÜ

    Hi GEMÜ,.

    When chossing the pdf export as part of your report is printed. You can turn off the frame in page layout options.

    Letter: Einstellungen > einrichten Layout > Layout-setting...

    I've attached a screenshot of the box you need to uncheck.

    If this does not resolve your problem, please do not hesitate to come back to me.

  • HP Envy 4500: vertical dark lines on copies

    Printing is fine. Printing/scanning ran doctor-all ok. All copies have dark vertical lines from left to right through the entire page. Have cleaned the glass, any ideas? Thank you.

    Hi @maggiethewif,

    I see you have found dark vertical lines on copies. I will definitely do my best to help you.

    I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
    Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
    Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
    This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

    Clean the glass Strip to the scanner ADF ADF white plastic strip, the scanner cover and the scanner glass.

    Update the firmware of the printer. HP Envy 4500 series firmware update to improve performance of the printer.

    If the problem persists, please Contact the HP Support for help. Check the model number and the form to receive a file number for faster assistance.
