  Hi all

  Trying to create an image of a HP8760s (Win 7 Enterprise loaded) using the Symantec Ghost program. Still imaging process leaves at 99% and displays the following error: cannot allocate page table memory. If someone has experienced this problem and if so how do solve you this problem? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  BTW... I did google the error and you tried to use a CD bootable Ghost... etc... parameters of the evolution of the situation... etc... no luck.

  Hi all, found a solution:

  I figured out that the lenovo use AHCI and pcdos does not recognize ahci. I disabled the ahci in the BIOS under the parameters of the hard disk and set the boot sequence to boot for the IDE (not AHCI drives) drives and it worked.

  In my case, the material was a HP 8760w workstation elite... change above suggested by 'Dollar Bennett' worked for her and the system can now be ghost.

• iPhone 5 touch of ghost / problem uncontrollable touch

  Recently, I dropped my iPhone 5 and the screen and broken LCD screen. The next day, I set myself and I got the phone back off. I went home and plugged into iTunes and fixed, it is disabled. No problem to reach at this stage. The next day my phone was touching out of control of the screen as if someone was touching. Its been two days and my phone still has the problem. I reset, rebooted, the works. I have a warranty on the repair, and I think to go back if there isn't an easier option.

  I understand that display on your iPhone has been damaged and you had fixed it, but now the screen reacts as expected. If the repair was done by Apple or an Apple, Apple authorized Service provider will cover any defect for 90 days or the rest of the duration of your warranty iPhone, is the longest.

• Perception of Dual Drive

  I recently had a problem with permissions with LR and followed steps from Adobe to fix it. Now LR sees 2 discs where there is only one--it lists 2 identical drives under the section of records but with photo files split between 2 disks 'separated '. I tried to drag the whole of the file and the library catalogue to another drive, but LR will not go up or collect all my images.

  Any ideas?

  I would say that you hit the upper/lower case bug in Lightroom.

  I have a very strange problem. Until a few days ago my sytem ran beautifully. I had Vista 64 with MC5.5 and applications, agency heads including borderline perfect. This is certainyl slow my system has only 8Gigs and is a strict minimum at best, but it meets the minimum system requirements.

  On there are 6 or 7 days, I was invited by Windows update that updates are available. I advanced and installed updates and when Windows was going on through the process of restarting the process in which he configures updates he never finished to restart and would not go back to the top.

  I got down to a local computer store and the guy he has been able to start it and it appeared that all Windows updates were installed successfully. I got it home, ran CCleaner, doubling active Windows update again, and everything seemed to run smoothly.

  I put some files to be encoded in SOUL and my computer restarted while encoding. I was irritated but thougt that maybe something happened like a switch on the power strip had shot or something (I was not present when the reboot happened). Then I rebooted, put all to the top again, has started rendering again once and it restarts again during rendering. He kept this for me and I couldn't get a full encoding done. What's weird, is that everything ran smoothly, PP cut was nice, it's only when I visited.

  I looked online for possible solutions and I opened the prompt and ran sfc/scannow, and it has found an error which he says only he repaired. Same result. I decided not to try to track down a ghost problem and I just did a clean install of the operating system and in the process installed CS6.

  CS6, PP in particular was running great then I put some footage to render in the SOUL and it restarted again. Since I did a clean install of the OS, I know this isn't the applications Adobe do, I am wary of the Bios, it's weird because it does only when rendering. I export directly from PP or send to the SOUL, it restarts. I got through a few short encodes without him turning it back on, it was a second 30 sequence which took about 10 minutes to encode. All the sequences that are about several minutes or more, that I can't go and my computer restarts.

  As I said I know that this is not the applications. Everthing started getting some funky when I got the update Windows go wrong, what do you think? My Bios or something is messed up?

  I know that this probably isn't a problem of Adobe or PP, but seeing this only happens during the encoding, I hope someone has an idea, because I don't know where else to turn. I tried to find solutions online hoping not to bother the guy, but just don't know where to go from here. I'm not that deep into the end of the hardware it like many of you are.

  It is a hardware problem. Use Memtest86 + to stress test your memory and use Prime95 to stress test your system. Use HWMonitor or Speedfan to monitor your time when running Prime95 stress test. Tell us what are your time.

  The XcodeGhost malware affects the apps, mainly Chinese, created using a red version of Xcode.  It is not a 'virus '.  (Look at the difference between computer viruses and malware).  Remove the Apple listed here and get updated with the latest versions of the App Store.

  I have a version T440s FHD touch and noticed that the screen is /ghosting bleeding. IM curious to know how many people have this problem with their screens T440s... is related to a bad batch, or all of them are like that? Could there be a software patch or bios?   In fact, the colors on my touchscreen FHD T440s are very good. WARNING: no pixel dead either. There is no ghosting or (choice of the wrong words). • Flashing image ghost on first Pro CC problem

  Good, everyone. Hope you can help me with this, since I am running out of ideas. Could not find discussions with the same problem as mine.

  I have a 1080 p short film shot on 2 different cameras Nikon D5100. I use first Pro CC, and some free LUTs I found online for the color correction (WARM2 ORIG/DARK Kino37 and GC_Reign_R36_709) on most of the scenes, which pourraient be the ones causing the glitch. Some have a brightness and contrast twisted slightly because the original film was too bright.

  I made the video by pressing the Enter key to make it play smoothly while I worked on it. The film lasts about 21 minutes, and after the first 2 minutes, the video began to Tickle/flashing, as if the light was changed image by image. I had to change a few things so that the video would be a new rendering itself and, after many hours, I managed to do work perfectly when I play it on the first.

  However, when I export the video, the problem is still there - except this time, instead of finding problems with the changing light, there is a ghost image blinking (one of the managers of the flashing video with a lower opacity) right on minute 4. I deleted the exported video before I remembered, I should have taken a screenshot to explain the problem. Stupid choice, I know.

  I tried the two H264. MP4 and Quicktime. MOV and still no luck. Video always plays very well inside the first, however. Speculate about what I could do to fix this?

  Have you tried to export via Media Encoder? Have you tried to export without the lut to check if they are causing this issue? Have you tried to clean the media cache files? Have you tried to remove the preview files?

• Problem with 'Ghosts' in Photoshop CC 2014

  Hello. I have a rather strange problem so I hope you can understand. Everything that I work in photoshop with the text imported as a smart object. I copied the smart object layer and apply different styles with dynamic filters to achieve a certain effect. I have final trashed my prefs and a new file from scratch. Same thing. When I open the smart object for editing, I noticed some of the ghost came from the mask.   If you created your set of recovery disks - (these will be no only reinstall the OS, but recreate the recovery Partition as well)-you can remove the recovery Partition.  If you open the folder Recovery Manager (in all programs), it is usually the option to do so.
