GI for a stand-alone inside the secondary zone

Hello world.

I try to install IM in Solaris 11.1 secondary zone.

I perform software installation only:

Software installation successfully.

After I perform a GI for stand-alone root scripts:

The installation directory is the same for the global zone and zub-zone (fs just loop back).

I can't copy valid libclntsh.so.11.1 in the secondary area before configuring, but what happens?

Hello

Solaris zones are not all packages from the global zone. A default area is an imprint of very thin bones were you add several packages.

That's what I've done for solaris:

pkg install/system/solaris-big-server group

pkg install xclock libxmuu x 11-info-clients compatibility/ucb

pkg install SUNWarc SUNWbtool SUNWhea SUNWlibC SUNWlibm SUNWlibms SUNWsprot SUNWtoo SUNWcsl SUNWxcu4 pkg://solaris/SUNWxwplt

Great server to get a lot of useful tools

connection for Yes and ucb package is needed to patch it with opatch

third line are the requirements for solaris, as documented in the manual and where applicable under solaris 11

As other posters have suggested, better check with Oracle.

There is a good reference here in the docs of Oracle Online license, https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18248_01/doc/license.112/e10594.pdf

It would be useful to check around popularity of ASM / GI on windows. I worked between some flavors of * nix & Windows, ASM is great, but not a huge number of Windows installs that I have come across seem to use it. I'd certainly * nix however if (even if not!) considering the DSO. Sit together much cleaner

Using RAW could be the problem. I'm not sure someone who has used Virtual Box with raw disks for their RAC testbed. Most people use ASM. I've seen a few people use NFS as well. You'll also want to stay away raw because that which is frowned upon in 11.2. See http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/install.112/e41962/whatsnew.htm#RILIN931

  • The network infrastructure for a stand-alone server or a Cluster Network Infrastructure?

    Hello

I want to install a single instance database and I want to use ASM.

My setup is now just one node but in the future probably it evolve on several nodes.

So, can I use the Network Infrastructure for a Cluster to a single node, or I have to use a stand-alone server network infrastructure?

    Concerning

If you later plan ro use more than one server to install the cluster network infrastructure. It is possible to install on a server.

  • 2602 AP in stand-alone - using the two bands

We generally use the series 2602 AP in light mode, however I have a scenario where we will install one with the stand-alone software.  I understand that we will not be able to utilze certain features that you get with the WLC as RRM, unreliable detection and clean air.

We want to utilze the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHZ bands.  To do this with the autonomous access point 2602, will we have to set up 2 separate SSID?  I really don't want to do this if I don't have to minimize confusion for customers. Thank you.

This decision is based on the client machines.  The device will choose who it will associate with.  You could always tweaking the settings on the device wireless to a single band favorite on the other.  There isn't any setting on the AP have devices prefer one over the other.  I hope this helps.

    Thank you

  • Is it possible to buy Lightroom as a stand-alone without the cloud?

I really don't want to download anything for the "cloud." no pictures, no documents not a BLT half-eaten.  Is it possible to buy Adobe Lightroom as a stand-alone product without the adhesion of cloud?  If so, how?  I searched and could not find a stand-alone option.

    Hi Manon,.

Yes, you can purchase stand-alone 6 Lightroom available here: Software & Services

And by buying the subscription of cloud creative, photos, documents or anything that does not get uploaded to the cloud by default.

You would have that full access if you want to store anything online or not.

Lightroom would be installed locally on your machine and everything, including the Lightroom Catalog, photos and everything will remain on your machine and not on the clouds.

Here is the difference that you can see: compare Lightroom CC vs versions 5 & 6 | History of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC

  • How to include external files when generating Setup for a stand-alone executable file?

    Hello

I tried to build a standalone executable from my Labview project and I've been able to do successfully.  Now I would like to include a few external .txt files in the installer. These .txt files have parameters and constants that will be used by the program, and my program needs to load / read them during execution.  For now I have to manually copy / paste them into the machine targets, but I really hope that the installer can do it automatically.  In my view, there is a folder "data" in the Setup, and that's where I hope that these .txt files can be added in.

How can I do? Can anyone give me some suggestions? Thank you!

Right-click on the target project. In your case, it would be 'My Computer'.

    Hello

    Sorry for my English!

I have to build a .exe from my main VI: the main vi contains some dynamic vi that I need to insert them into a school of my main vi for this I use a parent pah "path.vi of the Application Directory" to create references and when I run my

application all work very well in machine mouthwash. But when I try to compile this application to create a .exe this exe does not 100% in my target machine. So I do not know that the problem is due to the creation of application normally settings the

dynamic VI should be in the same directory of application.exe I think I introduced manually but I can't do all this help please!

In the project window, move the VI out of dependencies and set up in the project.  When you open the App generator, VI should then appear in the list of project files (just like the other 2 files).  Then, you can use the arrow to move to the list always included.

  • Icons of drop-in customized for packaging stand-alone application on Mac OS x

I can't add icons customized to a standalone package built on MacOSX.

    JDK1.7.0_06 with JavaFX 2.2.

    -build
    -Test.jar
    -deploy

This creates the natives and DMG packages and they work, but there is no custom icons for file DMG installer or .app (just gray coffee cup icon).

Here is the result. What confuses me is the 4th line and similar, with 'add package/macosx/Test.icns to the classpath to customize. " This file is relative to the current directory, but for some reason any is not picked up. If I switch to Windows (via VMWare) and add some windows/Test.ico in the package and run the same command, the custom .ico file is recognized.

It is indeed a bug in utility javafxpackager introduced towards the end of the release. It has impact on Mac and Linux
You can fix it on your copy of the javafxlauncher - edit
    /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/JDK1.7.0_06.JDK/contents/home/bin/javafxpackager
    and
    replace
    classpath="$javafx_home/lib/Ant-JavaFX.jar".
    with the following line
    classpath=".:$javafx_home/lib/Ant-JavaFX.jar".

I'll make sure that this problem is fixed in point 2.2.2.

    Hello

Yes, just use your own SEQUENCE object in the map and the NEXTVAL with the sequence operator for the inserted rows. You can match on your own key columns of the company for the columns updated. Within the mapping operator, you can control which columns are used to insert, which, for the update and are use to update.

    What's my configuration "/ etc/hosts" correct?

That's if you want all references of this machine 'dbhost' or 'dbhost.mydom.com' to resolve to address IP 192.168.1.101 and all references of this machine to 'dbhost2' or 'dbhost2pc.mydom.com' to resolve the IP 192.168.1.100.

Is it mandatory to have the first line with "127.0.0.1..."?

No, it can be anywhere in the hosts file. Strictly speaking, it is not yet mandatory to have at all, but as the poster said, if you delete it, some features may be lost.

All net communications should go down to an IP address. The hosts file is nothing else that a mechanism to map a name to IP address. This allows you to return a destination by name, and really, this name can be anything you want. Resolving to 127.0.0.1 ' localhost' is a universal standard which depend on some process.

  • Infrastructure of network for a stand-alone server installation

    Hi all

I intend to install a standalone server network infrastructure: -.

    Platform: Oracle Virtual Box

    OS: OEL 6 32-bit

    Version of the grid: Oracle_Grid_Infrastructure_11.2.0.1.0_32_Linux

I was wondering if the grid Infrastructure 11.2.0.1 is not compatible with 6 OEL. Please advice.

Because after the installation, when I run root.sh, I encounter error CRS-4124.

I checked it on the MOS Doc-ID 1624661.1 , and it says to change the owner of perl on the grid instead of the oracle

    ls-l /u01/app/grid/product/11.2.0/grid/perl/bin/perl

    -rwx-. 1 oracle oinstall 1424555 21 July 2011 perl

    /U01/app/grid/product/11.2.0/grid/Perl/bin/perl grid chown

    -rwx-. 1 grid oinstall 1424555 21 July 2011 perl

And I did it. But still the same error

The idea is to have a test at home environment. Please notify.

    Best regards

    Hello Clerck,

You can consult the MOS certifications tab to check the compatibility of the versions of various products. To meet your current question "Oracle Real Application Clusters 11.2.0.1.0 is not certified on Linux x 86 Oracle Linux 6"

    Kind regards

  • Management Center of firepower of Cisco on the stand-alone server

You can install a management center of firepower of Cisco on a stand-alone server and not a virtual machine?  Here is a guide for the virtual machine:

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/security/firepower/60/Quick_Start/m...

but I couldn't find one for a stand-alone server. Or what I can use this procedure for a stand-alone server.

Looks like the only option of will not not with a virtual machine is to get the device itself.

    Thank you

To install on a server bare metal, you could first put ESXi (free version) on it and then run FMC as the virtual machine only on that. I've had clients do this and it works fine.
