• Power PC speed problem

  Hello, Laurie here. help my friend, Amy, with her computer. A few moments ago I noticed this suspicious 'PC power speed' icon to the search. You follow me? I assume that you are familiar with this one right? OK, so meet the standard as the first step on how to manually uninstall this thing all begin with the Manager tasks and ending the process, right?   I recommend restarting the system in safe mode and see if you can remove it from there. You should be able to go in Control Panel to add/remove programs and remove it.

  I wanted to add 4 GB of RAM and I took a DDR3 1600 MHz SoDimm of Corsair.

  When the RAM is connected alone or together with the original of the RAM, the laptop does not boot at all!

  AFAIK the module of RAM 4 G compatible Toshiba was number piece + PA5104U-1M4G +.

  The Toshiba PA5104U-1M4G module is exactly the same as the module of Kingston + KTT-S3CL / 4 +.

  Supports the Kingston KTT-S3CL / 4G * 1.35V* and, therefore, I assume that you have to use the modules supporting the 1.35v and the 1.5V modules would cause the problems mentioned.

  To be honest, the Quadro 4000 is actually less than the GeForce GTX 460 and GTX 560 (material-spec-wise): the Quadro 4000 is based on the original GF100 GPU which is relatively inefficient in terms of performance per watt compared to the new Fermi GPU. In this case, the GF100 Fermi was supposed to have 512 CUDA cores (but only a maximum of 480 CUDA cores are enabled in the end because they were in the GeForce GTX 480) - but the Quadro 4000 has half the disabled GF100 CUDA cores, having for result only 256 CUDA cores enabled. (For comparison, most version incision of the GF100 GPU used in cards GeForce, GeForce GTX 465, always has 352 CUDA cores active.) The series GeForce GTX 460 and GTX 560, however, are based on more recent and slightly more effective Fermi architecture versions. The GeForce GTX 460 SE is the slowest of the 460/560 GPU series, but has still 288 active CUDA cores. Both the real GTX 460 and GTX 560 (a lighter version of the 384-core GTX 560 Ti) 336 CUDA cores.

  So the Quadro 4000 is still underspecced (GPU-wise) compared with the same a GTX 460 SE, and still less a GTX 560 Ti we have been recommended as a choice REGION (Bang-for-the-Buck).   Well good for video editing, important criteria for RAM is:

  • Never, never crashes - it is very important; choose only RAM sticks (certified QVL) certified provider and do not use unmatched sticks
  • Speed; faster is better - while true also, past at the speed of the RAM, or lowering of the CASE wait cycles (latency) contribute to the speed, but the gains are very low; Faster RAM is hardly perceptible vs CPU speed more fast which is very sensitive (I played with it a lot on some versions overclock and test first with PPBM speed and speed up the processor 5% performance contributes to 5% where speed RAM about 30% can speed up about 1%)

  Google "what is the CASE for the RAM" and one week at self-teaching yourself if you want to even begin to really understand speed RAM!   Now, back to why both sets of sticks are the same cost. They most likely use the same chips of RAM, which is an important factor for what it costs to build the RAM sticks. While the Asus motherboard you buy allows full customization of many, many, many things, unless you are an extreme Overclocker and plan to spend a few weeks to fine-tune a new simple version you in the bios of motherboard and it say to use XMP settings. This indicates the motherboard, how to set the speed of the RAM and sticks of timings CASE for your particular RAM with the settings the seller intended.

  You really know a lot about what you are doing to set the timings RAM in any way other than the simple choice of XMP settings safely. And, you can easily burn your CPU if you don't know what you're doing and you choose some really bad parameters.

  I'm sure I have didn't used to have this problem, while playing an excerpt / video back in the program window, but now it seems that all of a sudden, PP6 don't video playback HD in the program window.  Not even worth trying to scrub through the video, it's a disaster.

  • Project / sequence type: I did the sequence by taking pictures and then drag it to the new sequence, the sequence would be the exact type of the source footage.  The sequence is pan of a lake with mountains in the background.  It has audio, but I don't play it back.

Of the 8 minutes of the source video, I took 2 minutes 20 second cup.  Put it in the sequence by itself, no effect, no zoom, WITHOUT alteration of any kind.  Place the marker at the beginning and let them play in the window of the program in full resolution.  4209 frames I fell within 2.5 minutes
  • What you were doing when the problem occurred? Nothing else worked, it was after a fresh restart, only started PP6.  Just play the video at normal speed with no alterations.

  RAID 0 or not 7200 or 10,000 RPM will give you the ideal performance for most of the HD codecs with several layers due to the latency of the mechanical controls. You can run the drives as single and still handle most of the good HD codecs.

• Upgrading a p6510f Pavilion with a new power supply, graphics card and RAM work?

  Well, here's the deal that I go back to Japan for about 3 months and during this time I will borrow my laptop Cousins (in Exchange for my office) for Skype etc.. No problem their the thing is that he is a player and this p6510f has a few bad specifications when it comes to this, so I thought that I could let him borrow some cake rather than dirt, if you catch my drift ha... As well, when I get back gamer I ~ ('voice of Yoda"aka How Japanese works...)

  So I looked on Newegg / Amazon read comments and planned my purchase but the question is can this case and the Board of Directors manage what I use? lazy to measure everything out / busy.

  According to Corsair, the DIMMs that you chose is detected only at 1600 mhz, which is not in the specifications published by HP.

  You can roll the dice on the DIMMs that you chose, but I wouldn't recommend that buy you them until you contact Corsair and get a confirmation.  Computers HP can be very finicky with DIMMs, especially if you try to mix them with other DIMM modules.  If you do buy these bars and want to be them mixed with the existing DIMMs, then make sure the timings of latency CASE corresponding information validated HP. Also mix DIMM sizes will cause the memory function in unbalanced mode that adversely affect the performance of the memory.

  You should be able to make your own decision on whether to roll the dice.

• Satellite L750 slows after plugging in the power supply

  Hello everyone

  It's almost a year since I have TOSHIBA L750-12 model q PSK2YE-05P00RPL.
  Since the beginning, I noticed strange shares: when the battery becomes low at 10% and I plug the power supply everything starts to work slowly (for example I can see frames when using the webcam)
  also, web sites load very slowly or not at all. It's doing my work on laptop almost impossible.
  When this problem occurs, there are a few bugs in Event Viewer:

  Event 37, kernel-processor-Power
  "The speed of the CPU 0 in group 0 is restricted by the system firmware. The processor is in this state of reduced performance for 71 seconds since the last report. »

  I thought it was the power supply problem or motherboard to power so I sent the laptop to the service. Technical support only changed the BIOS to version 3.60 [there is not an another atm version] and he has not solved anything.
  I searched the internet and I found that this failure can occur because of the Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology option, but unfortunately I can not disable it in the BIOS.

  I read that there was problem simillar with for example Portege R835-P84 and new BIOS helped and solved this.

  Please help :(

  I also imagine that new and modified BIOS can help with this, but if Toshiba doesn't offer it there is nothing you can do, especially with the SpeedStep technology options.
