• Having trouble installing Photoshop CS6. "Machine to restart pending." Reboot machine has no effect.

  I found several related articles, but none of them could solve my problem. I got a new computer with Windows 8 and I was going to install Photoshop CS6 on it, but then I had this dialogue.

  

  Restarting the computer does nothing; the dialogue just reappear. I had this same problem with my last computer too a year previously, but I chose eventally then ignore it. I was able to install Photoshop with success, but there are features that don't behave the way they were supposed to. • Glitch puppet tool

  Whenever I use the puppet tool and then try to rotate the shape it glitches and tearing the object.

  I do not know how to solve this problem, I have experimented with the settings of the puppet (triangles and expansion) tool, but nothing seems to work.

  Any suggestions? I have attached a clip below of what I'm talking about.

  Thought of it, could not use the puppet on a layer with continuously rasterize active. Place the object in a precomp and boom, worked.

  Whenever I have crop an image, the image disappears for a second, as it is a glitch somewhere. Once I crop the image even more once he can't. But if I move to another image, and then click Crop tool, and then it happens again.

  If you use Lightroom 6/CC 2015, please turn off the graphics processor.

  Open Lightroom

  Go to Lightroom preferences

  Click the performance tab

  Deselect the graphics processor

  Restart the Lightroom

  I have this painting Brush tool glitch/error. Every time when I paint with the Brush tool a painting. After when I up my pen stroke is surrounded by a rectangle. Can someone tell me please how to get rid of this annoying problem.

  The rectangle is encompassing of the object, if the object drawing mode is enabled it will get, if you turn off the drawing of the tools Panel mode object, you could not see.

• crop tool glitch...

  I've recently updated to Snow Leopard. Since then, when I go to crop an image in Photoshop CS4, as soon as I hit 'crop', the image shrinks really small on the screen and appears as a gray box that is similar. In the layers palette, my image disappeared, and 1 layer appears more like a screen transparent gray-like. What is glitch; something has been activated, which should not be?

  You can see the clear button on the far right of this screenshot in the Panel options. If your screen doesn't look like this, you may have inadvertently closed the Panel options. You can get it by selecting options from the window menu. or you can reset the workspace while choosing window > workspace > Essentials. Once you need to return the options panel, select the crop tool and you should see the clear top button.

  Another reason that you might not see the erase button is if you have already selected something to crop. The Panel options search a way when the tool is selected, but not yet used, then changes when you drew on a culture area. Claire appears when the tool is selected, but not yet exploited.

• Brush tool Glitching?

  I don't know what went down in the months that I had not been using the Flash, but now my brush tool has problems. No matter if I use my mouse or my tablet, nothing changes. It's probably a setting I'm missing, but I've looked all over and couldn't not even find an answer via Google.

  First of all, when I opened my brush tool, all properties are grayed out. The only thing I can change is the brush shape and the fill color (which in fact does nothing):

  

  Then, when I try to draw with my mouse or my stylus, nothing appears on the screen, but my calendar shows something is there:

  

  Then when I click on the selected layer, or any where on the timeline in this layer, the line I drew magically appears:

  

  But then when I try to draw on the screen again, or select any other layer, everything disappears again:

  

  What is going on!?

  I solved it. The problem was the fill Alpha was set to 0 and I did not know it.

  It took me asking a person in real life to understand.

• Question of Layer palette. I choose a layer and when I use move the tool on that layer PSCC jumps to another layer

  I use Photoshop CC 14.2.1x32. When I select a layer in the layers palette, then use the move tool to reposition an item on this layer PS force one jump to another layer. The only way I can put it back is by using free transform on the layer, I want to work. What happens with PS CC? Help, please. About to dump CC and return to the CS 6

  Uncheck the automatic selection in the move tool Options bar. That should do it.

• Re-install PsCC via CC desktop tool?

  I'm on a win7 x 64 PC.

  PsCC resort for more than a year. Also have PsCC2014 both x 32 and x 64 installed.

  Recently, the menu of the PsCC for Extensions has been grayed out off... Panel extensions allowing to work load, but content panel was completely empty. Pref. reset did not help at all.

  Uninstalled and reinstalled AEM CC; but who was not good.  Changed extensions selected in 'Exchange' only; that did not help. Menu extensions always in gray.

  So I used CC Office uninstall PsCC... with the intention of re - install PsCC (x 32 and x 64) in the hope of resolving the problem of extensions... (I need some extensions that are not yet available for use in PsCC2014).

  BUT, to my great astonishment, PsCC is more listed as being available to install. Nothing, nada, simply not there at all.

  PsCC2014 shows that it is updated so I know the Archbishop CC knows that I am a valid subscriber.

  So question is: how to re - install PsCC? Where to get the downloads? or how should I CC Office list PsCC as being able to install?

  I need PsCC x 32 and x 64... I am lost without them.

  I think that the problem is resolved.

  After uninstalling and reinstalling PsCC, the menu extensions is more is grayed and a Panel extension seems to work OK.

  I'll need to install rest of panels/plugins/extensions, set prefs and space work of desired configuration and usage for several days before I'm convinced; but seems to work so far.

  I am writing as Detective Conan.  But good to know if anyone has a similar problem.

  And if you are still looking for PsCC install Desktop CC... go to the Apps / 'Find new applications' / 'previous versions' to fall to the bottom of the list (not really obvious and 'all' only means new apps).

• Brush tool Glitch?

  I installed Flash CC on two machines - a Surface Pro running Windows 8 and a PC running Windows 7.  Both have the following problem.  When I start drawing with the Brush tool, start fo the line is straight (does not follow the brush stroke) and null then normally.  It does this for every shot. For example, if I start drawing a circle, begging of the race will go just right, the result is a circle with a tooth in it.

  Has anyone else had this problem?  Has anyone solved?

  This is a known bug and has been fixed. The fix will soon be available in the next update to Flash.

• Glitching YouTube videos to the top

  Whenever I go on Youtube to watch the videos I can hardly even watch videos. This glitchy mess generally occurs with videos that are not constantly in motion, like a very static slideshow. The glitch affects only the video area and appears as 2/3 of the video has bee stretched as it is to be spread or "raining pixels. In some cases, it's a nice effect, halftone, which looks at the first time of a teenager with eyeshadow. For the love of all that is holy, Please HELP. I'm just a poor cub which is powered videos via an IV infusion every day, and I can't take my hits when the slap is so much Trash.

  You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

  You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

• What could cause videos to be displayed with tabs being slow and glitch and bad size?

  I'm not particularly bright when it comes to the computer, but I have quite a strange problem... Currently, there are two of them.

  My Firefox version is 37.0.2, and the only plugins I have is whitelisted 2.6.9.

  The problem started with the tabs of more 'glitch '. He got slower to swich to one tab and the tabs themselves would get 'blocks' and sometimes elements of the Web site on a single tab would remain a few seconds when clicking on another. I think someone on the internet described these tabs as "ghost tabs.

  I tried to google the problem, and that someone somewhere with a similar problem tried to disable the OMTC, who apparently worked. I tried that as well, and it worked great! But soon after, videos Youtube started acting funny... When you play back quality 480, the video looks fine. But when you use a lower quality, the video image should shrink in size and be placed in the upper left corner of the Youtube player. When you use a high quality, the video should grow in size instead.

  I tried to reset Firefox and it solved all the problems. For about two weeks... Day before yesterday, them tabs glitching again, and when I tried to disable OMTC, videos began to their routine as well.

  Everyone here recognize this problem or knows what are the causes? How can you just solve this problem?

  The graph tab display area has a glitch. The tabs are sometimes covered by scrambled characters in and background colors that make it difficult to see and interact with tabs. On the attached page, see the tab to the right of the problem. This problem is sometimes much worse, covering everything except the first tab... FF 36.0.4, Windows 7, update to current.

  Unfortunately, you probably have to disable McAfee Site Advisor page modules. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then you can find it on the right side.

  Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the page and click on one of the links in the last step.

  OK, sometimes the text is glitched on Web pages. and if you highlight the text messed up it will be instantly normal. also have the most updated drivers. and this only happens with firefox.

  Hello trentenmarschel, try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

  You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

  Then perform the following steps:

  • Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
  • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
  • You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
  • Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
  • Troubleshoot extensions, themes, and issues of hardware acceleration to resolve common problems of Firefox
