  I can't hold it and wants to turn it out or at least change the settings, but I can't find anything in the preferences in this regard.

  PS CS6 does not have this problem with the same tablet, so I think it has to do with Photoshop.

  What operating system do you use? If you run Windows8, since widows Control Panel, open 'Pen and Touch '. Select 'Press and hold' and click on the settings button. This will bring up a dialog box where you can enable this feature, disable, or set a deadline.

• Adjustments to the sliders in brush adjustent are applied globally, not locally

  Hello, I am a new user of Lightroom and don't know if I'm missing something. Of all the Googling, I did apparently not someone else has had this problem, or maybe I'm not looking for the right keywords. About 50% of the time when the adjustment brush stops working as a brush, and on the contrary any setting that I do for cursors is applied globally to the entire image immediately. What happens while I'm using the adjustment brush and clicking on 'new '.   Is there a setting that is getting changed in the course of my work flow to cause this? Thank you in advance!

  A couple of possibilities to consider-

  1. you set the global sliders in the ' basic' Panel which is under the adjustment table brush when you have an active brush.

  2. When you click "New" to start a new brush set must simply create another 'pin code' and allow different brush effects.

  3. Press [Enter/return] will come out of the brush.

  4. Press [K] will leave the brush (and also open the adjustment brush!  That is to say. turns on and off power switch brush)

• Question about the use of brushes

  Hello. I sketch in Illustrator and use a lot of brushes. Every time I am using the pencil tool or a pen and I click to end the line, my brush will automatically return to the straight line by default. I used to be able to choose a brush (e.g. the soft line) and sketch a picture with this brush until I select a new brush. Someone told me I can change the settings, but I don't see anything in there to set the brush to use the current brush. Help, please. Believe it or not, a lot of time is lost, because I have to choose my brush every time, plus the size of the brush.

  In the context menu of the appearance Panel clear new art has basic appearance.

  Now each time you select a brush for painting or pencil too the next line will be the same as the previously selected brsh.

  Hey everybody! Last night, I made a brush of Ribbon for a project at work. It worked as it should and I gave it to a colleague of mine so that it could use is as well. This morning, however, my colleague tells me she is having problems with the brush because it wasn't appearing when she used. I opened the file HAVE on my computer to check it out and everything seems fine, the lines that I did the other night not appear correctly. However, when I tried to draw another line and apply the brush, the ground was shifted to the line, AND it seemed to have doubled.

  Here's a sample of what I mean; the top is a line that I drew last night and the bottom is the same line, just copied and pasted below:

  

  I can move the lines, I did the other night, on the model around and it works correctly, but if I copy the line or by using the same brush to draw, I get double up to offset glitch.

  The brush is constructed with a clipping group. This does not work properly.

  You might drag the brush in the Panel forms. Then ungroup. Then take the part of the brush that isn't a corner and use the pathfinder Crop on it.

  Then create a new brush.

• Alienware 15 'K' key crashes when you press any of the line

  Howdy,

  I have a little problem with my new laptop Alienware 15. Two weeks after getting it, I noticed that the key K tends to get stuck when you press any of the line. Basically, it remains in the pressed position and not coming back to the top unless I force it by inserting something like a needle under it.

  In the limited time, I used the laptop I have not stressed that special touch at all (just looked on the key combinations of the games that I've played so far and the K key was not used).

  Advice on what to do? I was thinking to get one of these cans of compressed air and blow air under the key and see if that solves nothing. A little scared to take a screwdriver and remove since who knows what I'm going to spoil. I would not have to send the laptop back just because one key is stuck and I hope it doesn't come to that.

  compressed air is a good choice, you can use a clean brush also (in my case I use both to clean my knees)
