Global command on version 9.2

Hello, im set on the road with ASA and I have a problem of concept or a misunderstanding of the version... I have a 8.2 (5) and I have this on my NAT:

Overall 101 (external) interface

Now I'm working on a new ASA migrate all configs, but I can't find how to write this command on the new ASA 9.2 (2) 4

I hope you can help me and sorry for my lack of knowledge on this issue

Cisco brought significant changes in the way that NAT is configured from version 8.3. So you have the previous syntax on your ASA existing and need new syntax on the ASA News. It should look like this
NAT source auto after (indoor, outdoor) dynamic one interface

Be aware that there are also major changes in the way that access lists are configured. So if there are access lists in your existing configuration, you need to be careful about how adapt you to the ASA News.

  • Global commands can be created for executives rooted?

I'm migrating a suite quite extensive documentation of a model FM to another. One of the changes is larger embedded images (95% are of the same size). Given that many graphics by document (100 +) is a rather monotonous task to resize all the images (and related photos). I can batch process all the graphics in Photoshop, but can't see a way around the duty manually resize each image anchored, after I imported the old content in the new template. Because each object has an "object type" which are associated to him, would it be possible to make a global change to the properties of a selected object type?

Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but before I accept having to enter the same numbers in the properties of the once anchored frame buzzilion, I thought I'd throw this puzzle in the forumsphere.

    Several options include:

    1. Bruce foster of the plugin Impgraph: http://home.comcast.net/~bruce.foster/ImpGraph.htm

    2. a Framescript custom

    3. in the MIF of the FM file version, use a text editor to adjust the frames parameter.

    4. do nothing, i.e. to remove the current frame anchored a new import graphics in the same place, FM resizes automatically had to be bigger than the imported graph 1 pt (see also #1 - Impgraph).

When I connect to their virtual private networks via devices Sonicwall TZ in my home office, the first always uptight attempt connection, implementation service or Authenticating or IP acquisition. So I click on turn off, then immediately, click Activate, and it ends. This happens every time that I log in unless I log in no time (maybe a few minutes) after I close an open connection.

I thought that it would be fair to my laptop; However, it has persisted through two or three versions of the GVPN customer and, more important still, this does not happen when I have my laptop in the office of a client with me - that from my desktop at home.

So I already know that there must be something on my frontier DSL modem or a service. But it's not as if the customer VPN tells me "your modem has decided to abandon the Sonicwall response during authentication" or something like that.

Are there measures of troubleshooting/diagnosis/tests of base I can try, or any configuration of particular gateway that could be suspicious. In my case, the gateway is my modem Frontier.

    Yes, it's a little different.

Oh I should have read your question more carefully. The 1st World allocates addresses for guests inside and intf2.

Once the pool is not the address, then it will use the 2nd global and it will now start making Polo and non-originating, as was the case in the 1st world.

So, indeed, until all the addresses in the global pool are exhausted, all of these hosts will be coordinated. After that, the new hosts come out will be PATed with the adresse.254.

    Hope it clears.

  • JRE 8 update 31 on a Machine of Windows 8 'Java-version' does not

    Hi people

I work for a software development company. For the moment, we test Java 8 features with our software and the use of Java 8 in our environment. For installation, we use an automatic installation of the .msi file for 32-bit and 64-bit Version of Java 8.

So far, everything works fine on our test with Java update 31 8 machines. The only thing we noticed is that we had a few mistakes when we were checking the version of java via the console.

For example, when upgrade us a Java 7 to 8 Java machine, we have first of all uninstall Java 7, restart and then install Java 8. After that the process, we receive an error when we execute the command 'java-version '.

Error: The "java" command is not found or is written incorrect (not exactly this error, because we have a German version of windows).

This only happens on machines with windows 8

On a windows 7, we get a correct output:

    C:\ > java-version

    Java version "1.8.0_31".

Java (TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_31 - b13)

Java for 64-bit Server VM (build 25.31 - b07, mixed mode)

We could resolve the problem on a windows machine 8 by adding the java installation directory in the systemvariable "path." Once the 'C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_31\bin' is added, the command returns the correct output.

This work around is not a good option, in my opinion, because I don't want to install some GPO crazy to hardcode the installationdir in the systemvariable. I think that the installer must handle this task for me.

Someone here run into similar problems with java on windows 8 at or someone knows a better way to solve the problem?

    Best regards

    Daniel

Your "workaround" is your solution. The Java installer does NOT change the path. Any change in the path must be carried out by the user.

Another alternative is to create a simple "java.bat" file that is located in a directory that is located on the path.

This batch file can add the entry appropriate to the PATH environment variable and then launch Java.

  • Creating a JavaFX 8 front-end application using command line tools.

I'm sure this has been asked and answered, but the deluge of search results I get from Google and Bing do things much more confused than they already are.

I'm finally taking the plunge and spend C/C++ and Python for the Java SE and JavaFX 8 platform.  I am the creation of user interface running on top of the back-end tools that can run from seconds to days and output GB of data generated (imagine the tar running on Google's servers).

I understand how to run my tools saved using a running process and how to interact with them and operate a simple text like a command-line Java app as planned work.  This problem occurs when I wrap the code in a late snow JavaFX UI try to update the UI in a reasonable manner.  If I just use System.out.println () as in the command line version, I see the output of my task.  However, simply trying to put this same output in a text box using the. appendText() is not updated once the component TextArea until the background process completes.

I see all kinds of press clippings related to the task, CreateProcess, invokeLater updateProgress, but none of them does not seem to resolve the issue of their original posters (or mine at this stage).

Has anyone created a simple tutorial that is bound to this type of operation?  Pointers?  Better search terms?

    Thank you

  • OPatch commands fail with code 255 error and not able to find pots YES

    Hello

I am trying to apply a patch using opatch but I get this error: "OPatch was not able to find pots YES to load their duration. Please provide valid Yes location using 'oui_loc' option. OPatch failed with error code 255".»

    Oracle is 11.2.0.3 x 64 on Windows Server 2008R2 x 64. The PATH variable have % ORACLE_HOME%\OPatch, % ORACLE_HOME%\OPatch\jlib, %ORACLE_HOME%\bin in it.

The single command OPatch that works and not to throw the error is the command "opatch version.

    OPatch Version: 11.2.0.3.5

    OPatch succeeded.

No luck on the search for resolution of problem or documentation on MOS.

I can't find any documentation on the option 'oui_loc '.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Sébastien

First check that your ORACLE_HOME\oui\jlib directory already exists. If so, make sure you have "srvm.jar" in the directory. If not, copy and paste the directory or file (depending on what you're missing) of 11.2.0.3 another environment. I had the same problem and support was able to recreate the problem by renaming the folder jlib, but my specific question was the missing file 'srvm.jar '. Copy one through another system solved this issue. If you are missing "srvm/jar", you can also check ORACLE_HOME\jlib for "srvm.jar", because this could be a problem, as well (it was for me).

  • Do not install the latest version of PowerCLi

I'm trying to install VMware PowerCLI - 4.1.1 - 332441.exe on a Windows 2008 64 bit server. The installation goes very well, it installs VIX and PowerCLi. I complete the installation and run the following command:

    $HOST.version

    I get the following result:

    Minor major revision Build
    -----  -----  -----  --------
    1      0      0      0
I am unable to execute the commands that I should be able to and on my other serves with PowerCLi I exit for the $HOST.version following:
    Minor major revision Build
    -----  -----  -----  --------
    2      0      -1     -1
Any ideas as to what could be the problem? If you need more information let me know. I appreciate any help I can get on it.
    Thank you

    Hi Chris,

the command $host.version shows you the version of PowerShell. It seems that the Windows Server 2008 always PowerShell v1 installed. If you place it in PowerShell v2.

  • Restore the backed up Notes of Time Machine

I was automatically save my com.apple.Notes on the time Machine and it's time that I need to restore an older version of the Notes. So I entered the Time Machine and restored the old version and that worked fine. I can see the dates of the oldest record in the shell in /Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes < user >... / and they correspond to the older than date. I closed the application Notes before restoring and then re-opened, but it still shows the changes of today. So I rebooted the machine, but no luck. I cleared up the Caches in the library folder, but once again no luck. The idea of Time Machine must be able to restore the old data. This case does not seem to approach this concept. Is readind Notes anywhere else? I ran a global command on "/" as root and search notes. None of the successes that were matched today so where Notes read? How can I read my freshly restored older Notes folders?

Thanks in advance for any comments on this.

This procedure returns the database of Notes of the set to an earlier version. It is not possible to restore individual notes.

Please stop the Notes application is running.

1 triple - click anywhere in the line below on this page to select this option:

    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes

Right-click or Ctrl-click on the highlighted line and select

Services ▹ reveal in Finder (or just to reveal)

of the contextual menu.*, a file must open with a selected item named "com.apple.Notes". Move the selected item to the trash, then restore it from a backup prior to the unwanted change. If you make a backup with Time Machine, enter it and select the snapshot you want to restore from.

    2. make as in step 1 with this line:

    ~/Library/Group Containers/group.com.apple.notes

This time the selected item will be "group.com.apple.notes", otherwise you may get an alert that the item does not exist. The latter case, skip this step.

3 log off or restart the computer, and empty the trash. Launch of Notes. You can see a "Welcome to Notes" splash screen, as if you had never started. Click on continue.

    4. If you synchronize Notes with iCloud or another network service, notes that you restored may be immediately deleted after you restore the. In this case, temporarily, disconnect from the Internet, for example by turning off your adapter broadband and restore again. Copy the contents of each note of a document in another application, such as TextEdit. Reconnect to the Internet. If the notes are deleted, recreate them in TextEdit document. They should then synchronize to the network.

    * If you do not see the item context menu copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. In the Finder, select

Go ▹ go to the folder...

from the menu bar and paste it into the box that opens by pressing command + V. You won't see what you pasted a newline being included. Press return.
