  Hello Phuong,

  If all you want to do is to access data from an outside domain and does not allow API access to this area there is an easy trick.

  Now on the sizing of the FSDB requirement for 1 million parameters is 1.5 to, what is the minimum of FSDB on an environment less size of 250 VMS?, the FSDB can span multiple vmdk files to facilitate commissioning of storage?

  I highly recommend the vApp and not the version of Windows Installer.  First of all, the standalone install of vC Ops does not analyze the ability which is included in the paralytic.  Second, your environment (250 mV) is well served with the deployment of VAPP vC Ops in the small configuration (which supports up to 1500 virtual machines).

  There is no reason for you to deploy the standalone version, will give you features and the UI designed specifically for vSphere.  You would give the value you paid for the Enterprise edition.

• OSB - access to the operational parameters within the Proxy Service

  Use instead of logging case, we realize audit by inserting into a database. In some circles, we want to turn this option off. I would like to reuse the fair to decide or not to audit logging logs.

We have also created a java utility that allows to clear the cache of the server (because the server load & updates cache the file after each reboot). So whenever we need to make a change in the check indicator, we just change the value in the properties file and clear the cache of the server. This makes the new copy of the file of properties available in the cache server and java OSB legend takes up the same.

  It was quite complex, but the only one best solution we could find. Please let us know if you get something better.

  Just to emphasize a point that maybe isn't obvious, there are two general approaches that have been discussed - dynamic generation of scripts and SQL scripts.

  Build scripts of scripting occurs when you have one (or several) SQL statements that generate many SQL instructions you have here. It must be a two step process in this case. You spool the SQL statements that you build in a file (a SQL script), and then run the SQL script, that you just created. Simply to generate the script has no effect on the database. The SQL statement that you posted would be part of a script generating approach of scripts, then you must do something like

  SQL> spool my_script_file.sql
  SQL> <>
  SQL> spool off;
  SQL> @my_script_file.sql
  

  The other approach is to use dynamic SQL statements. This is the approach of using EXECUTE IMMEDIATE in a PL/SQL block, i.e.

  Dynamic SQL will actually affect the database - you build and run the SQL statements in a single step. This eliminates the need of the coil of the output of the SQL statement in a file, and then run this script.

  You can restrict local users with the following:

  name of user attributes

  type of remote access service

  One of our customers has to move their forms ADF application. The customer also wants to implement SSO using Kerberos. I could implement the ADF to the application security.

  The Application has two types of users whose information is stored in the USERS table in the database-

  1. Users of the application (not a domain user)
  2. Active Directory/domain users.

  What the clients want to do, is that if the user belongs to the domain, while the user must be able to view the home page directly. If the user is not a domain user, then the login page must be displayed and the user must be authenticated before the redirection to the home page.

  The first part, i.e. to implement SSO for users in domain works. But I don't know exactly how to proceed with the Application users.

  Can I create a custom authenticator that connects to the database and authenticate users of the Application?

  Any suggestion and pointers will be helpful.

We are in need to restrict access to documents only by the application. To explain. The user should not be able to access the file somehow, but by application on the key. For the moment, we are in little trouble, because the user can access the document by using the address bar in the browser or just type the address in the browser. I am aware that this issue has more with OS privileges as any parameter of Oracle. I would like to know is there a way to restrict the privileges of the user at least OS at the OS level and grant access to the user through the Oracle application?

  If you want to completely on app I see two different ways.

  1 put the files on a share on your application server and make them off-limits via http. To view a file, it load to the client through the WEBUTIL_FILETRANSFER.AS_TO_CLIENT of WEBUTIL and display it using CLIENT_HOST.

  2 put the files in a database table. To view a file, load it to the customer through the WEBUTIL_FILETRANSFER of WEBUTIL. DB_TO_CLIENT and show it using CLIENT_HOST.

  So I guess that you have created the table in the SYS schema. You should never, ever create user objects in the SYS schema. If you have created the table in the SYS schema, you really need to drop and create in a more appropriate scheme.

  You indicate that you come from SQL Server, so there may be a question of terminology. Which refers to SQL Server as a "database" is roughly equivalent to what Oracle designates as a "scheme." An Oracle database contains many schemas. A schema is the set of objects owned by a particular user.

  As I said above, you really, really should not create objects in the SYS schema. If you really want, however, you need to log the SYS schema and grant access on the table to your new user
