  Having just acquired a DHM, I have successfully conducted a test of back up of a catalogue of photo of 6 2000 of an XP PC-based elements, using the Elements 6 complete the backup process. This process is intended to be used eventually to transfer it and other catalogs on a new Windows 8 PC installed with 11 elements.

  However, while I would also like to be able to access the image files and the data of the catalogue on the EHD for a Vista based laptop which also has some Elements installed 6. Can you please advise how to make this without a full restoration of process that would load all the files on the hard drive of my laptop.

  In the transfer of the EHD image I also seem to have lost the original structure of the file that was on my PC, as the files have been renamed numerically and are all files held individually in the main folder of the ehd. While is not too serious a lot while the files remain on the EHD, provided the catalog always knows where to find them, has the structure of the file original been permanently lost, or I can it recreate when I finally to restore the files and catalog on the new PC in Windows 8?

  I can't wait to get this process right as I have a much bigger catalog similarly backup and transfer, once I was able to acquire the new PC and hoped to be able access the same way this catalogue by my laptop of EHD. given the lack of hard drive space on my laptop to contain all the 20 000 files that are involved.

  In fact, you have not lost this file structure. When you perform the restore, the folder structure will be returned to as it was.

  Over the years, my photos are stored on my laptop in different folders, as well as on the 4 different external hard drives. I have pictures in 11 Organizer and another catalog with totally different images of the 12 of the Organizer. I have a new PC now and that you want to check off a large part of the old hard disk images... but I don't want to lose data catalogue, as I have much keytags etc for the family and sports teams that my kids play on. I'll need access to the catalogue of sport in particular this year because my son will be graduating and I do special projects for all senior players with pictures of all their years prior reading (school as well as the movement of the teams). I can't redo all this labelling and can't risk not being able to quickly find images.

  Is there a way to export images from a catalogue on an external drive and have the Organizer to update the catalog information to point to the new location and delete the reference to the former?

  Also, is it possible to export some data, like maybe just all the school sports related photos and have this available as a new catalog?

  Paragraphs with new tags are not automatically added to the catalog. This is an option when you create a. When pasting in text from another document of FM, the new tags are not automatically cataloged. For a tag one already in the catalog, do a Format on it delete doesn't remove it the cat. Containing text is still present and still labeled with deleted format.

  It is in fact an order (sequence of dialogue) which causes all formats in use, to added to the cat (and the details of which I do not remember at the moment). Instances of existing catalogue with overrides formats get the entrances to chat with new names. Results of the massive pollution catalog, but it is fine if the intention is to clean the substitutions and weed out thieves (or adopt).

• Access to the library of photos from other applications

  This question is so ridiculous, I don't know even how to describe.

  When I use Photoshop or Facebook or even mail and I want to open a photo from my library, I'm not able to do it with pictures.  I can get to a picture category in the drop down menu below for the location of the photo, but in the category, it lists a library which no longer opens.  By clicking on that leads to an error message ("this file format is not recognized", or something to that effect.)  I have to go to Photos and send the picture to myself and to save it to my desktop in order to to use.  It didn't happen with iPhoto.

  I use an iMac of 2013 and El Capitan 10.11.3.

  Everyone knows this?  Can it be fixed?

  In my program, I use the XML Unflatten and flatten XML screw. On my development computer, everything works fine. As soon as I put it in the production environment, it has stopped working. I reduced to doing in my production environment, there is no internet access and I'll be never able/allowed to have access to the internet there.

  Someone at - it an elegant way to solve this problem? (By "elegant" I do not want to manually change all of the .xml files that I produce to include the path to the local LVXMLSchema.xsd) Is there a file .manifest or .config can we change to point my program compiled to the xsd on the right file? Perhaps another method?

  Hi all

  I think I found the solution.

  In the end, it wasn't an Internet. It was the inclusion of the classes in the compiled code or not.

  Attention! It was not enough just uncheck everything in the "Additional Exclusions" section of the building. I actually had instantiate each class possible, which can be converted by the "XML Unflatten" in the .vi. I even tried to put the lvclasses in the always include the article of the source of the build. This no longer works.

  There are two main reasons for the mistakes of certificate:

  1. Your computer's time is not set correctly.  Check your time year/month/day/hour/minute/timezone/light of day.  Right-click on the clock in your taskbar and select "set Date/time" and make sure you are ready approximately 5 minutes of real time (don't forget time zone and DST).
  2. The second reason is that Windows XP is not very good for updating root certificates.  Go to the following site:

  If you want to restrict access to a drive by using the Group Policy Editor, you can not apply for a particular user account. This will change for the user accounts.
   
  You can't restrict access to the complete transmission. However, you can resrtict access to folders and files inside a car to a particular user.
   
  Refer to the section "set, view, change, or remove special permissions for files and folders" in the following article and follow the steps to remove the authorization of the user access to the file/folder.

• Need a configuration file for download in the library section.

  I bought a refurbished nine Windows 7 and I saw that under the library section, it doesn't have the file 'Downloads '. There is an icon for my downloads on my account but I don't know where to go from here.

  This is normal. You can always access the downloads folder in your user folder, or activate the download folder in the start menu (the taskbar properties > start menu > customize)
