  I recently got a s 35 HP. I would like to know how to enter a complex number with an imaginary part calculated, like 2 + sqrt (3) I. I tried several strategies by using parentheses, even put the sqrt (3) in a stored variable and recalling it, but everything I tried of gives me an answer "Syntax error". It is hard to believe that something so simple can be done easily. I hope someone out there has an easy solution!

  The link you cite is the same document that I have referred to in my rating of 17/08/2015 at 4:15, mention the kind of number that I want to, but don't say don't not how to enter in the calculator. However, moving to RPN, one CAN easily enter these numbers. Two examples:

  3 + 2i [sqrt] 2 [sqrt] ix3 + which reads: 3i1.4142 (in format xiy)

  5. [sqrt] 3i 3 [sqrt] [+/-] ix5 + which reads: 5i - 1.7321 (once again, in the format xiy)

  or, put the real part first, 5 [ENTER] 3 [Sqrt] [+/-] ix +.

  So, as I suspected, I need to use RPN for this sort of thing.

  A few notes in the representation of a complex number as a vector:

  (1) the i is omitted, the second number is supposed to be the imaginary part.

  (2) the 50 g accepts only decimal numbers for vector representation

  Thus, at the entrance there. I guess you have the calculator in complex mode and exact mode (about not checked in "MODE"-> "SAE"), i.e. "C =" displayed at the top of the screen.

  RPN mode:

  Press 3 then ENTRY (3 is at level 1)

  Press ENTER again (3 is now duplicated and on both levels 1 and 2 - one advantage of RPN)

  If you want to keep the symbolic result (with the symbol of the 'SQUARE root'), leave it in this form, if you want to convert to vector format press (red) RightShift, then -> NUM (above the ENTER key).

  The result will be a decimal vector shape (3, 5.19615242271).

• View of the complex Variable

  I appreciate that CVI2013 with its new clang compiler now supports data _Complex type - unfortunately the view Variable does only partially: it recognizes the type (Interestingly, it is displayed in the form of complex while bool appears as _Bool) but does not display don't not values...

  

  Thank you for pointing out this oversight. I filed the bug report 426270 to the complex issue. Including watch expressions and debug tips.

  I also filed bug report 426273 for number _Bool.

  Your example is not so great because it uses 100% of CPU on a kernel at any time, do nothing.

  Here's a quick rewrite of my old example here. He draws an angle with the specified length and angle to where you click on the chart. This should help you get started. Modify if needed. (Also remember that trigonometry is much easier when using complex numbers )

  I was next to the forum of Labview for about a year, it's the same with my programming so I'm a little rusty. I don't have someone code this for me, but just a quick plan high level to point me in the right direction.  I am able to work through the tutorials Excel etc.

  Task 1: Basically, I have a set of data Excel (2 to 6 columns of figures, not the time) I want to read in Labview and throw in a XY graph as the base model that remains visible all the time.  This data set is quite long, length vs. size (length is 100km, 1 m intervals). I essentially want a scroll X graph to display all of the data.

  Task 2: Acquire a direct serial data string which will be superimposed on the graph of task 1 model. Acquired essentially data comparing data in real time to previously.

  In the past, I made the simple projects with Excel data reading and also the reading of data in series.  What I'm not clear on is how to create the (static) graph with Excel data model while superimposing live data as it comes.  It is the basis of an annual check of the investigation process.

  Advice on the process would be appreciated so I'll be working through the nuts and bolts.

  If you are worried that your data sets is too large, then run a test with simulated data to see how LV takes it. You might be surprised. In all cases, you should be aware that the chart control will need to redraw it with any changes you do anyway, and as far as I know, having a large amount of data is the main thing that can make a slow chart control. If you find that you have too much data, you might need to decimate it you based on how much you zoom before putting it in the graph.

  By specifying the number of Pixels, you hear, allowing only a specific land area size of the chart itself?

  You can change this through the use of a property node.

  Steps to change the plot area size:

  • Right-click on the graph of the intensities.
  • "" "" Scroll create "property Node" plot area "size" all items.
  • This will create a property node that will allow you to change the property of area of the draw of the intensity card.

  By specifying a space of draw of the 56 x 1, this would allow a 56px draw area size fate. Is that what you meant?

• HP Officejet Pro 8610: How can I get a report with the total number of pages printed on my HP Officejet Pro 8610?

  The number of pages that print is so critical to a choice to use the "HP Instant ink Plan' or not, how can I find the total number of pages that I printed on my brand new (installed 2 days ago) 8610?  And if I can, there are a total of 'resettable' or working capital?  Don't see anything in the user guide and a search gives nothing usable on this blog.

  Wireless printer installed on an old PC with Windows XP SP3.  I also of course install with cable network but so far it works well on my home network without a network cable.  Is there any operating system, I also have a laptop Lenovo Vista on which I can install this printer.

  Please do not answer I can find total by counting the number of pieces of paper that I have.  Surely the inner workings of this beautiful machine must have the requested data as well as HP can say my consumption if I select the monthly plan of ink!

  This 8610 was a good buy (net $89,00 after the resumption of my six years, Deskjet J36xx) at Office Depot/Max who has of course influenced my decision to purchase.  So far, I am very happy with the print quality and speed, have not yet tried the scanner and will probably never use the fax machine since I have no land line phone.

  If you need to call HP, it is often useful to print the printer status report before calling.

  1. in the Control Panel printer display, press and drag your finger on the screen and then press Setup.

  2. press on printing reports and then tap Printer Status Report.

  I hope some can help; I am trying to use an XP machine to machine IPERF Linux... we tested loads up to 5 (-P5) outgoing connections using XP, but now we want to move to 8... but the connection keeps flat for 3 of them. We tried the 6 and 7, again same problem, anything 5 + said "breaking" we believe that this is a problem in windows limiting the the maximum number of concurrent/simultaneous TCP connections.

• I'm trying to install Office note 8.1 but get this error message immediately after you enter the serial number and authentication code.

  I've been remark office omr 8.1 installed on 32-bit windows vista (intel pentium DC) for the last year laptop. Now plan to move it to a more recent hardware and the OS.

  I'm trying to install Office note 8.1 on Windows 7 Home Basic 64 bit (on laptop AMD E450 DC base). But am getting this error message immediately after you enter the serial number and authentication code. I tried to install different versions of the .net Framework (from 1.1 to 4), but nothing seems to solve the problem.

  I even tried to install it in mode compatibality. but no luck.

  Here is the error message (between BEGIN and END lines)

  An error occurred instantiating the object of authentication. Please restart your computer, and they run the Setup again.

  Just for the follow-up of this: I have sent comments, and they responded in 20 minutes with:

  Please contact the Support of the note.  I'm sorry that you are experiencing this error, but it seems by the error message that you install note on a Windows 7 computer.  This error is caused by a Microsoft security update that was released in July 2011 for Windows 7 and caused upward to change our software.  Here is access to our Download Center for you to install the version 8.4 of note.  You will use your current serial number, license key and authentication code.
  They then provided a link to their Download Center where I could download 8.4
  E - mailer to * address email is removed from the privacy * and they will answer you. They have great customer service.

• BlackBerry Smartphones that someone knows how to change the phone number and keep BIS on the numer again?

  I have existing BIS plan for a phone number in another city. Works fine, no problem. My phone is 9300.

  Now, I moved to another city, got a new phone number and want to use BIS with this new number on my existing device. (I'll be closing my old number for obvious reasons).

  My ISP is Airtel. So far, I have followed the procedure (send to 121) to request activation of the service on the new number, but a response saying the request has failed. Contating customer support is of no help.

  Does anyone know if there is a simple way to do it.

  Airtel on pre-paid. The new issue is also of Airtel.

  I waited until my validity has timed out and then saved with the new number.

  So, moral of the story: you cannot save BIS on a new SIM card if you are already registered to BIS on your old SIM.

  I installed Adobe Photoshop 7.0. I just want to register the product. When I go to the plans and products and add the serial number I have, it tells me that the serial number is not valid. How can I register Adobe PS 7.0?

  The oldest inscription in my account is for Photoshop CS2. I bought Photoshop since 5.0.2 and when Adobe converted the registration page, CS2 (2005) is cut off.

  If something as old as 7, they do not take recordings more.
