Anyone have any idea when they will release the new drivers because I already have problems with some games because I have old drivers and even Ati mobility drivers does not work because I sort out equipment protection system on my laptop.

And Yes, I already posted another topic like this, but I can not connect nomore on my old account so I had to create a new.

    Thank you

    Hello

The fact is that Toshiba to recommend to use the Toshiba graphics card drivers because this driver has an overheating protection. These drivers one specially designed for the use of the laptop and it s not recommended to use any other rivers that are designed for desktop use.

If you use other drivers, you can do so at you own risk!

  • My m7680y can support graphics cards PCI requiring 2 screws/slots?

Or two slots? Im not sure what the technical term is... Im trying to buy a geforce 9800 and it requires 2 slots. I would like to make room for two slots after I remove my old pci card, but ill have come down the sound card. While matter where the sound card?

While there is great space (two locations), the case probably sleeps, assuming that there is nothing in the way insofar as this would be towards the front of the case.  I think the sound card works OK in any PCI slot, to answer your question on that.  The main concern I would have is the power that this video card is vs. What can provide the power supply.  When they start the list of food that is able to support the card, I start to wonder.  See here:http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_9800gx2_pwr_supply.html

I guess depends a little on which in this range of models (GeForce 9800), but you might want to consider getting a diet very capable before putting a card like this in you computer.

  • Re: Satellite U400 - is a graphics card required to play the DVD?

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite U400, who shared with the CPU graphics, not a dedicated graphics card. The laptop will play DVD ok without interruption or gel? I guess passes with DVD playback dedicated graphics card? I realize that dedicated graphics cards are good for games and needed to run some demanding games but are shared graphics more than able to play DVD movies?

    Look forward to your reply,

    Thank you.

    Hi MARTIN & SONS,

Graphics card is required to start properly, but for this laptop and play DVD it makes no difference if you have a chip that is integrated or not. That's only important if you play 3D games because they need a lot of performance.

Anyway, you can watch DVDs ;)

  • New HP 2011 x 20 '' LED monitor for old Dell Dimension 2400. necessary graphics card?

My in-laws have an old Dell Dimension 2400 and the monitor exploded. I bought a new HP 2011 x 20 '' LED monitor. My WIRE went to set up, and he tells her that a HMDI graphics card is required.

This is a pretty old computer. I think he might have as... 512 MB of RAM. Is there an inexpensive graphics card that will meet their needs?

And besides, when they buy the graphics card, are there all the cables that they must reach a new monitor to an old computer?

    Thank you very much!

    Nice description of Dell:
Video connector to 15 holes :-)

Seems to be a VGA connector.

From the description of the monitor:
    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02643130
There is an also vga connector, so you will have no problem to connect the two.

No additional card is necessary, no other cable - just use the old vga cable.

Your only problem might be the resolution:
resolution 1600 x 900 set at the factory for the monitor.

I don't know if you can set the resolution to Dell, you should test.

Otherwise a 4:3 normal/old monitor would be better than this 'big screen' new.

  • Desktop HP Envy 750-114: do I need a new monitor or graphics card?

I have a HP Envy Office 750-114 and a HP. V242h color monitor, etc. on the monitor are flat, dull and almost gray. It has been like that since we have the computer about a year ago. I've tweaked the contrast, etc., on the screen and it's a little better, but still not very good.

So, is it a new graphics card for the computer, or a new monitor? I'm afraid that if I buy a new monitor, it'll be the same, dull and flat.

If a new graphics card is required, which would be a good thing, and I need a new power supply?

My son loves to make games, one that is good for the games would be better.

    Thanks in advance!

I did experiment a bit and partially answered my own question. I removed the monitor in question (HP V242h) and hooked it to another computer. What a world of difference! So I don't think it's the monitor, but the graphics card.

If a modified question: what would be a good graphics card for my HP Envy Office 750-114? One that enhances the display and provides the best game? Also, would need a new power supply?

    Thanks again in advance!

  • H8 - 1000 in.: h8 - 1000 in the list of compatible graphics cards

I would like to know/have a list of compatible graphics cards for H8 - 1000 in. currently, I have the GT 420 and I can't seem to find any compatible graphics card.i don't mind the upgrade of the power unit to adapt new graphics cards that require more power.

The factory system specs are impressive except the graphic card that can't handle new games.

Please advice. IM desperate for money on a new upgrade system and no waste.

    Hello

HP OEM graphics cards are made by different manufacturers to HP specifications.

If you want to try the new graphics cards and then contact the manufacturer and ask about compatibility with your specific motherboard and if the graphic card has a hybrid BIOS. (two issues)

Not all models of the NVIDIA GTX 750 will take place in every PC.  The NVIDIA GTX 750 is a highly rated graphics card. Others come with a switch to toggle between UEFI and legacy mode and then some might claim to have a hybrid of video BIOS and some claim compatibility to PCI-E 1.1.

The reality is that there is no guarantee that any particular graphics card will work in any particular PC, even if the graphics card works in other PC or even the same or similar model PCs. Know what the return policy is before you buy.

A little-known secret MSI is that if the box is "stickers" with a logo of Windows 8 then the graphics card was supposedly a BIOS hybrid.

  • Can I put a new graphics card and power supply in my computer.

Hey all, I have the model P7-1459 and it is good, but I was hoping maybe give him a boost of game. But I was not able to know if she could handle what I want to do. The new graphics card would require a 450W power supply, and I do not know if this model could handle. Anyone know of a way or another? Need help.

    Joshua, you are welcome!

I'm sorry that I misunderstood your question.  I thought that you wanted to know if the computer would process the card.

Yes, you can upgrade the power supply (PSU).  I suggest to measure the PSU existing and comparing these measures to the one you choose.  I love OCZ and Corsair.  They will provide quality amateur with a reasonable price.  A good video card requires a clean and stable power supply.  I recommend at least 500W; 550W at 600W would be even better.  This would allow for future updates.  The computer uses only the amount of energy needed to operate the components.

    I hope this helps.

  • H8 - 1240t update graphic card problems

Before you start this is what I have:

    H8 - 1240t Desktop

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

    Intel Core i7 - 2600 k

    16GBs ram

The computer came with an AMD Radeon HD 7570 1 GB DDR3 graphics card which I have been recently trying to improve my dream of an EVGA Geforce GTX 780 / 3 gb GDDR5 SC ACX. I already upgraded my PSU from a 300w to a 750w power to manage the new graphics card. During the installation of this new graphics card the computer will start show him Press esc for boot menu screen and after a while, it will go to a black screen with a cursor. I put in the disk of driver installation accompanying the GTX 780 from the start. Now, I looked online and saw a lot of people who update their bios but I couldn't find really any help for a motherboard very FRIEND 7.09 Pegatron 2ad5. And the actual task of updating a bios seems daunting. Attracted me here to see if it was something I had to do or if there is something else I could try or should I give up on my dream to get the GTX 780 to work in my config. Thanks in advance to one that meets. =)

    Hello

Most of the 7xx manufactured NVIDIA video cards are active UEFI and your PC does not have the right level of BIOS.  Your PC needs to have a BIOS version 8 level.  If the BIOS of your PCs supported the UEFI mode and secure boot you have a different problem.

Looking for a different graphics card that requires no UEFI BIOS. You may be able to locate a Sapphire AMD graphics card that will work and be near the same level of performance. Glance at the series Sapphire R9which are not marked UEFI.

The 780 NVIDIA or any graphics card close in performance will eventually be GPU bound.  This means that the graphics card will not reach its full potential of your PC with the design of the processor and motherboard.

  • 220 watt HP slimline s511uk: pci express graphics card card low brackets

    Hello world.

I am trying to buy a new card for pci express card 16 graph to upgrade the s511uk hp slimline model.

But do not know which is compatiable like her as a supply of 220 watt power supply.

What I do need to update the pc to 300 watt psu suppy because some of these graphics cards are requiring one 300 watts to 400 watts.

the reason for the upgrade is at stake.

    Hello

Try HP Partsurferfor video cards that are used in the new Slimline models with a 220 Watt power supply. These cards have been made specifically for the HP Slimline PC with a 220 watt power supply. The 405 NVIDIA 1 GB is $126. The 520 NVIDIA 1 GB is $144 and the NVIDIA GT530 2 GB is $ 195.  HP may have other video cards designed for HP Slimlines with a 220 Watt power supply.

  • What does that mean? -This problem occurred because your graphics card does not support the required version of DirectX. This version of Windows requires a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card or newer.

I tried viewing a presentation power point and got to page 2 and my computer crashed.  Thought on... what he did previously trying to display a PPP file, but I thought that it was not my computer to the actual file.  now I have my doubts and also this time an error message came that said... This problem occurred because your graphics card does not support the required version of DirectX. This version of Windows requires a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card or newer.  can someone tell me what I should do next?

You left out which version of DirectX has been shown.

As far as I know, your Intel 945GM should support DirectX 9 and because you have XP sp3, you must have at least DirectX 9 installed.

I met the following, but it shouldn't apply to Powerpoint:

Some such as the Intel 945 GM Intel video cards have a design limitation which may cause problems when you try to run the Source Engine games. 3D graphics kernel does not support transformation of material, light and the vertex shader to similar technologies, which is an important part of the pipeline of 3D acceleration. Instead, this functionality is emulated in software that can reduce the compatibility and performance with 3D games.

I don't have a solution for you (assuming that DXDIAG, in fact, reports to have DirectX 9 or higher).  You can see if you install a new driver support, but if it were me, I would be first contact Acer technical support or ask your question in another forum as one of the following conditions:

    Intel graphics Forum: http://communities.intel.com/community/tech/graphics
Forum PowerPoint: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/powerpoint (select the corresponding forum for your version of Powerpoint).  Include the results of DxDiag, including the version of DirectX.  If there is something unusual about the image that causes the crash, include this info as well.

Normally, for notebook/laptop computer, it is better to get the drivers of the mfr of computer rather than the manufacturer of the device.

Acer drivers for your computer are here: http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=535 (you want the Intel VGA for XP driver)

Intel has a newer driver: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Internet+Devices&ProductLine=Netbooks&ProductProduct=Mobile+Intel%C2%AE+945GM+Express+Chipset+Family
It's the main Intel support page: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/graphics/945gm

It may be interesting to try to go to support
site Web of MFG. your video card and
search for course Windows XP Compatible
    drivers.

(FWIW... If your computer is a laptop... check
the manufacturer of the comput4er one
    updated video driver)

If you do not know the make and model of
    your video card... check documentation
    supplied with the computer.

Also, you can try the following steps...
    Reach... Start / run... type...
    Msinfo32... Press on enter.

    On screen Information System... Choose...
    Components / display...

You should find the make and model of your
adapter display as well as the version of the driver.

If the driver on the Web site is no longer
    current than you run...
Download and install it. Also, you should find

  • Requirement of the graphics card dedicated for BB10 simulator

Hi, the blackvery website developer, I found the infromation that BB10 Simulator requires NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT or higher to an ATI Radeon HD 2600 or higher graphic. This affects when even if the pc has the graphics card integrated rather than required. I mean I can run the Simulator very well, but this will affect anyway if I run an opengl project in the Simulator? Thank you.

The BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha Simulator uses OpenGL 2.0.  If your graphics card does not support it you can have problems (some only show a black screen).

If you see a black screen you can try the software rendering mode (choose option 2 before boots simulator), but you could still see some rendering issues using this mode.  In addition, it is going to be slower.

  • What is a NVIDIA graphics card and why my After Effects requires one?

This is my first time to use After Effects and I don't know anything about. I opened it and something pops up saying 'Ray-tracing on GPUS requires a NVIDIA and CUDA 5.0 or later approved graphics card'. What it means? I'm worried create anything on after effects incase it cannot record because of this problem.

Your graphics card can't do ray traced 3D, so (ray traced 3D) it will be not very usable with large 3D scenes. Not a problem really unless what you AE for. You can still use the program. It's just a warning your graphics card does not minimum requirements for "ray 3D" features drawn, although it will still work, the CPU can do it too, but the classic rendering engine is generally fine for 3D in AE
