Graphics driver refuses to update.

I'm telling you you how very annoyed and frusterated I am with this stupid graphics card will be not updated. I tried the links HP gave me and it still doesn't work. I updated my BIOS and even tried Safe Mode. It goes, however, the fake 'process' then say that it is updated just for me to see that drivers still say 28/09/2011. It really gets me upset. Can someone help me please? I have the AMD Radeon 6520 G graphic card. It's the useless link that HP gave me.

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-103101-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en...

I will try to uninstall the drivers and reinstall them. Maybe they didn't install correctly.

I fixed it! It turned out that my .NET Framework was outdated and that caused its not updated correctly. So now my graphics driver reading 19/12/12.

I currently have the 8.15.10.2189 Intel HD Graphics driver version and want to upgrade to 8.15.10.2353 driver but everytime I download, unzip the file and open the file, it will extract and request "do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer" I click on "Yes" and then it disappears and nothing happens at all. I've waited long to see if something happens, but nothing happens.

  • Switchable Graphics and ATI Graphics Driver disappear (BIOS update)

Then the other day, that HP has insisted on the behaviour of one of its annoying BIOS updates on my Pavilion dv7.

Before the update, I was able switchable graphics and could pass the ATI Mobility Radeon 4250 something the 5650 (I'm sure I have these numbers). in any case, now, a few days after the update (which I believe I installed on 19 January), I noticed that my switchable graphics options have disappeared, as well as my option driver ATI Mobility Radeon 5650... large. So now games graphics look significantly bad and slow because I can't spend to the best driver. Thanks, HP.

So, the question is how to get back my switchable graphics and other driver? I was looking around and found some - related posts that can be useful for people who seek to answer this question, but aren't really help me:

Hey man, idk if you are still working on it, but I have the solution.  Basically, HP has two updates for each laptop model; one for laptops with integrated graphics card only and another for laptops with switchable graphics.  Unfortunately, the driver for laptop with integrated graphics card only has been the default driver in this update.  Instead of trying to reinstall the older driver, just install the new correct driver.  To do this, follow these steps:

    1. go on http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html

    2. the website can automatically detect what dv7 you have.  Just click on the button "start detection".  It will ask you to download something, but its ok.  Do it.  Then just click on 'continue' and let it detect your system.

    3. There should be a screen that has 'Detected list of products' on him.  Under where it is said that your model is, there must be a link that says "software and driver downloads".  Until it clicks.

    4. in the next screen, you will need to choose your operating system.  Select it and click "next".

    5. a list appears with all the drivers for different systems.  Expand the category that says 'pilot -"graphic  There will be several drivers (one being that shitty laptop with integrated graphics card only and another for great laptops with switchable graphics).  Read the descriptions of each and it is made for laptops with switchable graphics.  Download the right one.

Once download you, you will need to restart your laptop.  When it starts up, it will be like new.

  • HP Pavilion 15 laptop: Could you please tell me why I get a BSOD if I updated my graphics driver AMD?

I am facing this problem for months, I never update my graphics driver as usual, it slows down the PC and causes the BSOD. I use the graphics driver that is downloaded from the HP site and it does never BSOD. But sometimes my ATI graphic driver stops working, updates Windows shows me an update for the driver, but every time I've updated to use, the computer stops working, and it gives me screen all black when I turn it on, so I have to reinstall windows again and again if I've never updated my graphics driver. My PC is HP Pavilion E033TX 15, I hope someone could help me solve this issue. Thank you!

Do not let Windows update to install the AMD\ATI driver. Change the Windows Update settings for "Let me know if there are updates available so I can decide whether to download and install updates" to avoid the problem reoccur.

Computers laptop switchable graphics require a specially updated the driver provided by HP for your laptop.  It is not available through Windows update. You are not alone with this problem. The same problem happens to other brands of laptops owners who have the switchable graphics function.

  • Update the graphic driver for Bootcamp 6.0 questions

After you perform a new installation of Windows 10 1607, I proceeded to install Bootcamp AppleBcUpdate.exe drivers on my MacbookPro 11.5 i7 Dual Graphics.

Everything worked fine after that restart once the installation has been done. Now I checked the Apple software update, and he gave me a few updates. Specifically the bottom three in the picture below.

It restarted after that and then 'Apple Software Update' update itself twice before offering a new version of the graphics driver.

This update has screwed up the system. Auto brightness doesn't work anymore. The brightness keys don't do anything. I reinstalled bootcamp on a fresh drive to isolate this problem.

Does anyone have a solution to this? Any suggestions? If everyone Apple never bother reading this, then please test your drivers before you send them.

Delete Windows, re - install, create a Windows system restore point, disable all updates Intel GPU and then apply the updates and test.

  • Satellite U400 - 14M - I want to update the Intel graphics driver

    Hello!

I got a Satellite U400 - 14M and want to update my graphics driver version of 7.15.10.1502 to Build 7.15.10.1576

As it has been mentioned in another thread before, it did not for me to update the driver from the Device Manager...
He always says that the best drivers are already installed.

Why is it possible because I am trying to install the new driver and when Toshiba releasing their own update of the graphics driver?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

Maybe you are already using the latest driver.
It's only a plausible explanation if you get the message that your graphics driver is up to date.

However, the driver installation can be done from the Device Manager and it will work if you want to use the compatible driver.
But if the latest driver is already installed then you will not be able to update. Because it s already updated ;)

  • Qosmio X 70-B-10 t - internal error of power after updating the graphics driver

    Hello world

Ive not long has this laptop and every time I install the AMD Catalyst software on it so I can use the AMD graphics card I get a BCOD telling me error of internal power followed continuous restarts with the same error before system restores a delay before the installation of the driver. This is with Windows 8.1 because I have not upgraded to Windows 10 as of yet.

I tried to install the latest drivers about 4 times now, but the same thing over and over again. As soon as the installation of system software and restarting the laptop for the changes takes place, the internal power error starts. Someone know how to fix this or should I take the laptop under warranty?

I know that the fault of power internal but only as part of the Windows 10

It has already been discussed in this thread
    https://Forum.Toshiba.EU/showthread.php?83849

The problem was related to the AMD graphics driver and Windows system and this has been resolved by Windows update.
If you get the BSOD install the AMD, so the current driver disk could not be fully compatible with your system 8.1 Win.

Also the missing system update may be due this... so make sure your OS 8.1 Win is already up to date and use the reader to AMD released by Toshiba.

    Hello
To be honest I m not very well why the autopilot GPU update could not complete successfully, but I guess that the update is not out for the AMD Radeon HD7610M, which is built into the laptop.

I also read a discussion on this issue in the Microsoft forum, and it seems that there are other people having exactly the same problem with this update.

[Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Graphics Adapter WDDM1.3 - AMD Radeon HD 7500/7600 series update problem | http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows8_1-hardware/problem-with-graphics-driver-update/a7a6da38-6575-405b-86c2-71a620be06b7]

The question is therefore probably related to wrong or incompatible driver GPU

  • Satellite C660-220 - cannot update graphic driver Intel

In short, I'm looking to update the graphics drivers Intel HD Graphics, the current version is 8.15.10.2189, I tried several times to get from the own Intel site but either I download bad or simply can't. I can't find the driver under the Toshiba Support. Device Manager can't find the updates or the other.

    Model: Satalite C660-220

This has been a problem for about a year now, so any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

The laptop supports the Intel Core i3 - 370 M CPU processor
According to the page Intel ARK where you can view all the technical features of the CPU, the CPU provides internal Intel HD graphics. It was the first version of GPU HD Intel.

I checked the Intel download page, and unfortunately, the Intel page does not provide the graphics card Intel HD (for Intel Core CPU 1 St gen) more.

But I found a newer version of the Intel driver on the Toshiba UE driver page:

  • Try to update the graphics driver for Satellite C660-1LD

    Hi all

So I'm trying to update my graphics driver on a satellite C660 1LD, and I'm going nowhere quickly.

The current driver I have is version 8.15.10.2622
Site Web from Toshiba offers the 8.15.10.2189 version which I'm inclined to believe this is an older than my current version?

I tried downloading the new version on the Intel site but it does not work either and I can't really figure out what the new version of the site. Can anyone offer advice on how to achieve this?

The trouble is that I've lived this process for more than a year to fix a bug on civilization 5. I remember that it is a bit of a headache then. The most annoying is that I don't remember the process that I had to pass by to do. DOH!

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

In General, you should only use the drivers from Toshiba. Why? The drivers offered on the Toshiba support page are tested and adapted to work with the s portable equipment. Of course, you can use the GPU manufacturers support page drivers, but you should know that most recent drivers will increase performance GPU. More performance means more heat and also some risk for material.

Result can be suddenly stopped downs or even damage the hardware.
In any case, I hope that you are satisfied with the performance of the GPU with your latest driver so I don't understand why you want to update the current version. Be happy that everything works well with this version of driver is not supported.

In any case, I m you know that everything you do is at your own risk you can do with your computer laptop all you want. I found an interesting article that can help you.
Check it out please - http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-033915.htm

    Good luck

    Hi Mark

Visit the Toshiba download pageand check if the most recent driver for your unit is listed there.

It is recommended to use the Toshiba driver designed because of the material.
