  I have more than 3 years old Dell U2711 monitor and for a few months now my monitor has started to show the mobile green pixels on half of the screen. The problem is not in the cables, because I see the pixels even when I'm browsing in menu monitors without video cables connected.

  The U2711 originally shipped from the USA or Asia Pacific, your site of regions will not find the serial number. Dell won't repair monitors, sells components to monitor nor have the documents of disassembly. We just swap the monitor inside the purchased warranty period and send the defective monitor to the manufacturer. You can take it to a local TV repair center to see if they can diagnose the problem. Then find spare parts on ebay.

• U2711, flickering green Pixels

  I have a problem with the Green flickering on my U2711 pixels. It is not a major problem, and it comes and goes. Recently, I swapped the thought of video card maybe that was the issue, but the same problem persists. I have re-inserted the DVI - D cable on both ends as well.  All the drivers for the video card are up-to-date. Pixels always seem to appear in darker areas to grounds of photos and move with the photos when you drag around on the screen. Because they come and it is difficult to get out of trouble. The only other thing I have not tried is a new DVI - D cable. I hope someone here has the air this before and knows what is the cause.

  I had the same problem with green pixels on my u2311h and a DVI cable.  This has been caused by a bad connection between the cable and the monitor and fixed by simply reinsert the cable correctly in the monitor.  I read about a similar problem and the solution on the web.  I suspect that your problem is your DVI cable or socket on the monitor.  Suggest you try a new cable before RMA.

  You have a hue/saturation layer, which affects the gradient. The Red V layer in your Layer palette is blue due to the hue/sat layer, so it also affects the gradient layer. You need to cut the layer hue/sat layer underneath, by pressing the alt/opt clicking between the two layers. Or you can put this adjustment layer an other layers that you want to adjust in a group and change the blend mode of the normal group.

  Remove the file "FCP uncompressed 422.component" file Library QuickTime solved my problem of green pixel!
