GREP Swap Lastname Firstname (s) (s)

I have a list of names that I can use a simple GREP to swap Lastname, Firstname, however, I have names like:

Smith, John David

Davis Smith, John

Smith-Davis, John

Smith, John Angelo

and so on.

The name is so 1 to 4 + namespace (Lastnames are all followed by a comma) and the first name is 1 to 4 + names.

I played with it for some time without success. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Find (. +), \s(.+)

Change to $2\s$ 1

I'm composition a phone book in which each entry starts with a name, first name; 10-digit phone number, and address. The name and phone number need to have a style of character applied to them (both to get the same style). I can do the first name with a nested style. Is it possible to apply a character style to a "word" [phone number] within a line of text? Some kind of search GREP? Here is a sample entry with punctuation, in which case it is useful:

LastName FirstName; 123 Street 000-000-0000 ; Job title

A second need is a way to fill in the headers of the page with the name of the first and the last entries on a spread. Is it possible to automate that?

Thank you very much in advance for the help with this.

    What version of InDesign?

Of course, it is possible with scripting; but with a (moderately) modern version of InDesign, you can use a GREP style to the brand phone number variables and text (see the first and last word on the Page) to define your headers.

  • How can I sort my artists by name in itunes

How can I sort my artists by name in itunes?

    Mark,

iTunes has absolutely no concept of "last name."  It is simply a lexical sort on the text in the field of the Album.

If you want to leave the name of the artist he is, but ignore it for sorting, you can enter data in the field artist sorting, which is on the tab of sort for each song.  Use the format "Lastname, Firstname" to get the kind you want.

  • SQL clause 'or '.

    Hello

I am creating a search function vi, which allows the user to search for some columns in my database with the input control 1. Is it possible to do if some of the columns have different data as string types & digital?

I have this here vi which I use to interrogate some of the column of the same type of data in the database. It seems that there is something wrong with my 'or' clause. When the input is b / l, the part of the data displayed is correct since the firstname column won't work & the clause "and" name also will not work, resulting in all data displayed. However, if I remove the or clause for my lastname, firstname column column will work but my data for the device will not work. When the input is 1, all occupants in my database will be displayed & they will all have the same unit even if they live in a different unit. However, if I delete my request first name, leaving only the unit, it works perfectly.

I believe that the problem happens if I use the or clause of these terms before the last clause "or" & after the last 'or' clause in my query will not work. The Address.AddID AND = PersonDetails.AddID AND PersonDetails.Status = 'active' is ignored if it is not the last clause 'or '.

IM using data select vi to recover my data, because it is something strange happens if I use the sql execute query vi. below is my sql query & attached is my base data & vi.

    WHERE Address.Unit = 'b' or PersonDetails.FirstName LIKE '% b %' or PersonDetails.LastName LIKE '% b %' AND Address.AddID = PersonDetails.AddID AND PersonDetails.Status = 'active '.

Thanks for reading & hope someone knows why this happens.

    Kind regards

    Wayne

I can't open your files (got an earlier version), but I suppose you use an .mdb you have access? Do the work in question here? I have several times to build an access issue and switched to the sql mode to copy in LabView.

Maybe a couple of brackets to fix the problem. It should not be necessary, but it might help to use WHERE ([or CLAUSES]) AND ([CLAUSES AND])

  • Rename files in batch

I have several hundred family history text files that were named "firstname lastname placeofbirth" I want to rename their "lastname firstname placeofbirth" what is possible in windows7 or using a file renaming utility free batch to batch.

    Procedure 1
    1. open a command prompt in the folder you want to work with using Windows Explorer - select the folder, press & her hold down the SHIFT key while you right-click on the name of the folder, select open a command window here on the shortcut menu that appears
2 input this text at the command prompt, and then press return
    DIR /B > FileList.txt
    3. open the text FileList.txt, remove all files strange appears in the list that does not make part of the task (for example, in my folder of test, I got DraftProcedure.xlsx in the list, so I just deleted it), select all the remaining text & copy it
4 open MS Word & paste whole lot in there, save the Word file you can do a lot of work on the content
5 open MS Excel & paste the entire batch is starting at cell A1, save the Excel file that you will do a lot of work on the content
5 you can close the text file you are now done with it - avoid the save if you find that you made a horrible mistake and must start over
    6. in Word, select the entire document & align all left without any withdrawal para just to make it easier to see what you do
Replace 7 use Word [at the right end of the Ribbon home] function to replace all double spaces with single spaces.  Put a double space in the search box and a single space in the area replaced by [you use no special characters or functions for that, just use the SPACEBAR] then click on replace all.  When he says that it has completed, note the number of replacements, that she took.  Then click on replace all new - continue to do so until he said he found nothing to replace - then you know that you have completed, but you can put the cursor at the beginning of the text & run it once more just to be sure.
8 review of what you have for what seems wrong
9 select all text & copy, go to Excel, select cell B1, and then paste the text
10 you can close the word that you're now finished with it.  You can save the file that you have done because it might be useful if you make a mistake and want to start over
  • TMS PE - account information Email

    Hello world

You can use {name} and {name} in the e-mail information model account for TMS - PE?

By default it uses {displayname}, but for us in an email, it looks backward that we use "LastName, FirstName" for our nickname and later want to use FirstName LastName. It seems that the model is not like that because he feel literally {firstname} {name} in the e-mail instead of real names.

    See you soon,.

    Mark

    Hi Mark

No, you cannot use these placeholders e.mail Unfortunately model {first name} {name}. Given that these brands are not resolved in real names in the e-mail, you will see the {name} {name}.

I recommend you contact your cisco account manager and trigger a feature on that request.

  • Helps the Parseing XML

Version: Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - Production

    Hello

I need assistance with an XML file to generate lines to insert into a table staged for further processing.

There is an XML document that is loaded into a table in the database via a Web Service call.

I need to query this table to get the XML code, loop through it to create folders, with the fields in a specific order and insert records into a table of staging.

There are two columns that are not in the XML that are added during the process. I am including these tables as well.

I know it is a bunch of "stuff", but I hope I've provided enough information to get help.

    The tables and insert queries:

-This table contains the XML of the Web Service call

This XML file is for 1 card. There are several issues that are in the file. I reduced to only 5 is easier to see.

The layout of the document to be inserted in the staging table is:

    Event.TestName

    Event.FormName

    Event.CompleteDate

    v_tracking_id

    Event.ProgramRegistrationID

    Event.StartTime

    Event.CompleteDate / * end * /.

    Candidate.LastName

    Candidate.FirstName

Candidate.MiddleName (the middle name does not exist in the file XML then return null)

    Candidate.ProgramCandidateID

    v_school_code

Candidate.CustomProperties.Answer (this does not exist in the file XML then return null)

    Event.ResultID

    Event.NumStarts

    Event.Completed

    Event.Sponsor

    Scores.Questions.Question.Name

    Scores.Questions.Question.Section

    Scores.Questions.Question.SeqDelivered

    Scores.Questions.Question.Key

    Scores.Questions.Question.Answer

    Scores.Questions.Question.Seconds

    Starts.OperatingSystem

    Starts.BrowserVersion

    The expected output is:

The Questions/Question, is what makes a separate line if the values for the other fields would be the same for however many questions is in the XML file.

You have several questions in the XML, so when flattened document you will have several lines trying to extract in v_result.  Where the error.  You will need to either loop

for rec in (select... from XMLTable...)

    loop

    insert into staging_tbl...

    end loop;

    or make an insert select

    insert into staging_tbl (results_data)

    Select...

    from XMLTable...

So I put two conditions on two separate just printers to test how it works. A group membership does not work even though I'm 100% sure that I am a part of this group! Also, what is strange, is how the ORGANIZATIONAL unit verification works, but the printer error when you try to install it.

If anyone is curious, my environment is seen Horizon 6.2.2 build-3508079 and UM 9.0. Everyone has access to the print server printers are on is not a permissions problem with, in my opinion. Both printers are set to run once and asynchronously. I have App Volumes also 2.10 and 3 appstacks and writing attached to these machines. Writable is a UIA for the location of the Outlook OST that I used with this awesome video: using VMware App Volumes and environment the User Manager to store the Cache in Microsoft Outlook (.) Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this for me.

    Hi edsoncruz4,

You can check your infrastructure on network problems (DFs maybe? Error 1726 average remote procedure call failed), also you can check with the command WHOAMI /groupes if your user name is a member of security assigned groups.

  • Oracle DB 11 g 2 controls prerequisites failed - Oracle Linux 6.5

    Hi all

Once again stuck with questions during the installation of 11 GR 2 DB.

    1. Swap size - failed
      Details:
Size of swap - it is a prerequisite to check if sufficient total swap space is available on the system.
Expected value: 7.74 GB (8120228,0 KB)
Real value: 7.7 GB (8077308,0 KB)

      My checks:
      # SH - 4.1 swapon s
Size of the characters in filename used priority
      / dev/DM-1 partition 8077308 0-1
      SH - 4.1 # cat/proc/swaps
Size of the characters in filename used priority
      / dev/DM-1 partition 8077308 0-1
      SH - 4.1 # cat/etc/fstab. grep swap
      / dev/map/vg_vssdbserver-lv_swap swap swap defaults 0 0

I thought that 8 GB of swap space was enough, my system has 8gbRAM.

As a general rule, swap space is usually configured to twice the RAM if you use 8 GB or less and equal to the amount of RAM if you have 16 GB or more. If you have 64 GB of RAM, however, it is useless to have 64 GB of swap space, because the loss of performance so you never need to swap space will be very bad.

However, you probably want to configure your Oracle database to use the kernel Hugepages using EAMA instead of the AMM for optimal performance and efficient use of memory. Hugepages kernel, unlike the POSIX memory shared (/ dev/shm) used by the AMM will be pre-allocate memory to start the system upward and can not use swap space. Don't forget that the swap space is not a substitute for the lack of physical memory (RAM).

On the Oracle database installation, there should be a button to ignore warnings or errors and continue the installation or if you feel more comfortable with it, to meet this control, simply create a temporary swap file to increase your swap space, which later can be removed when you no longer need. It is certainly much easier than to the resize your swap partition.

    For example:

    [root@vm213 ~] # lsb_release d

Description: Oracle Linux Server version 6.5

    [root@vm213 ~] # swapon s

Size of the characters in filename used priority

    / dev/DM-1 partition 2097148 0-1

Create a pagefile of 1 GB in / Home

    [root@vm213 ~] # dd if = \u003d/dev/zero of / home/swapfile bs = 1024 count = 1048576

    1048576 + 0 records in

    1048576 + 0 records out

    1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 4.32366 s, 248 MB/s

    [root@vm213 ~] # chmod 600/home/swapfile

    [root@vm213 ~] # ls-l/home/swapfile

    -rw-------. 1 root root 1073741824 28 May 03:07 / home/swapfile

    [root@vm213 ~] # home/mkswap/swapfile

mkswap: / home/swapfile: caution: do not erase the sectors bootbits

all over the disk. Use f to force.

Implementation of version 1 of swapspace, size = 1048572 KiB

    no label, UUID = d26f4d5f-af46-4567-b836-0d5d0b1661cb

    [root@vm213 ~] # home/swapon/swapfile

    [root@vm213 ~] # swapon - a

    [root@vm213 ~] # swapon s

Size of the characters in filename used priority

    / dev/DM-1 partition 2097148 0-1

    / home/file swapfile 1048572 0-2

If you want to enable the pagefile at system startup:

    [root@vm213 ~] # cp/etc/fstab /etc/fstab.backup_'date + %N '

    [root@vm213 ~] # echo "/ home/swap file, swap swap defaults 0 0' > / etc/fstab"

  • Manager not an event trigger in the field display name of the user registration form

    Hello

I want to customize the display as name lastname.first name field in the user registration form.

so i have creates a process Manager field events, but this isn't the trigger to the full name field, he demonstrated error ion Orchestra.

But even when I went with first name , it's showing form name.first perfectly.

can anyone help me on that there is any event triggered default and does not allow to create a custom event on the display name field.

    Thank you

Display name must be placed in a Hashtable as follows:

    Map dispNameMap = new HashMap();
dispNameMap.put ("base", lastName + "" + firstName); then pass this card as:

    Parameters.put ("Display Name", dispNameMap);

  • default profile values

    Hi guys,.

I have the code in my update.jsp code:

    Code:

    < b >

    Email < td > < table >

    < td >: < table >

    < td > < dsp:input bean = "Profile.login"

    MaxLength = "30" size = "25" type = "text" / > < table >

    < /tr >

    < b >

    Email < td > < table >

    < td >: < table >

    < td > < dsp:input bean = "ProfileFormHandler.value.login"

    MaxLength = "30" size = "25" type = "text" / > < table >

    < /tr >

    < b >

    First name < td > < table >

    < td >: < table >

    < td > < dsp:input bean = "ProfileFormHandler.value.lastname"

    MaxLength = "30" size = "25" type = "text" / > < table >

    < /tr >

My req is, if the user already given lastname, firstname, middlename on registering, update.jsp must indicate the stored values. Value of email is done only when it is Profile.login but not ProfileFormHandler.value.login and also the remaining values are not in the text fields. Why? where I am doing wrong? You guys could let me know...

ProfileFormHandler is a component of scope of application and it does not all user properties.

It is used to send the form only.

The profile is a component of scope session that will be initialized with the details of the current user.

    In your case, you do

  • Impossible to update the full name with post-process Manager field

    Hello

I have a manager post-process that updates some fields when a user is changed. The post-process Manager update correctly the e-mail, and common name fields. However, for some unknown reason, I am unable to update the display name. There is no error message, but the value is not updated.

Here is the code I use to update the display name:

    EntityManager entityManager = Platform.getService (EntityManager.class);

    HashMap < String, Object > uploading = new HashMap < String, Object > ();

    attrs.put (UserManagerConstants.AttributeName.DisplayName.GetId (), 'New value');

    entityManager.modifyEntity (orchestration.getTarget () .getType (), userEntityId, uploading);

There also seems to be something different with the full name field. When I print all the fields and values for a particular user, I get something like:

    First name = John

    Family name = Doe

    Email = [email protected]

    [...]

However, the display name has the following format:

    Display name = {base = John Doe}

I also tried to set a new value in the format "{base = new value}", but it does not work either.

    Am I missing something?

    Thank you

  • How repeat/option output values from XML in the CLOB column?

    Environment:

    Oracle 11.2.0.3 EE on Solaris

Very much a newbie XML but try.  :-)

I have a table with the XML stored in a CLOB (no, I can't imagine the environment but I live here).

I need to display the data in a flat file format.  Some of the data is both optional and possibly repeat if present.

    Here's a fun sample data:

    "< res: customers xmlns: res = ' http://www.whatever.com/response ">

    < res: lastName > SMITH < / res: lastName >

    < res: firstName > JENNIFER < / res: name >

    < res: Extras >

    < res: Extra >

    HOME < res: phoneType > < / res: phoneType >

    555-555-5555 < res: phoneNumber > < / res: phoneNumber >

    < / res: Extra >

    < res: Extra >

    < res: phoneType > MOBILE < / res: phoneType >

    666-666-6666 < res: phoneNumber > < / res: phoneNumber >

    < / res: Extra >

    < / res: Extras >

    < res: lastName > JONES < / res: name >

    < res: firstName > ROBERT < / res: name >

    < res: Extras >

    < res: Extra >

    HOME < res: phoneType > < / res: / phoneType >

    123-456-7890 < res: phoneNumber > < / res: phoneNumber >

    < / res: Extra >

    < / res: Extras >

    < res: lastName > MURPHY < / res: lastName >

    < res: firstName > SEAN < / res: name >

    < / res: customers >

I'm trying to get my output to look like this:

Last name first name model number

    ------------- -------------- -------- ---------------

    JENNIFER SMITH 555-555-5555 HOME

    SMITH JENNIFER MOBILE 666-666-6666

    SEAN MURPHY

I don't know how to get the repeated lines printed and I don't know how to get the printed line that does not contain the optional data.

Here is the script that I have developed so far.  With my actual data I can get the printed name and I can get phone information printed out but only to the exclusion of the names. I was unable to get the data if the optional data is not present.

I tried to refer to information from phone and then back up to 2 levels for the information of name but I receive: ORA-19110: no support for XQuery expression

    Select x.*

    client m.

XMLTable (XMLNamespaces ('http://www.whatever.com/response' as "res") )

    , ' / res: clients/res: res/Extras: Extra '

by the way of xmltype (m.CUSTOMER_XML)

    columns

    lastName varchar2 (80) WAY '... /... / res: LastName'

    , name varchar2 (30) WAY '... /... /FirstName'

    , varchar2 (30) phoneType PATH '.'

    , number of phone varchar2 (30) PATH '.'

    ) x

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    -gary

    Hi Gary,.

Are you sure the sample XML code correspond to your actual data?

The second query expected error because the PATH expression refers to multiple targets.

If it's really like that, the XML structure is not very easy to deal with. It would be wise to have a container element enclosing each customer information, like this:

    http://www.whatever.com/response">

    SMITH

    JENNIFER

    HOME

    555-555-5555.

    MOBILE

    666-666-6666.

    ...

To answer your main question, you can use an OUTER JOIN to include data that do not have Extras.

Using your original sample XML, something like this works for me:

    SQL > select x.lastName

    2, x.firstName

    3, y.phoneType

    4, y.phoneNumber

    client 5 m

    6, XMLTable)

    7 XMLNamespaces (default 'http://www.whatever.com/response')

    8, ' for $i in/clients/first name

    9 return element {} r

    $i 10 / following - sibling:Extras [1]

    11, $i/next - sibling:firstName [1]

    12          , $i

    13          }'

    14 passage xmltype (m.CUSTOMER_XML)

    15 columns

    lastName 16 varchar2 (80) PATH "lastName."

    17, firstName varchar2 (30) PATH "first name".

    18, extras xmltype PATH "Extras."

    (19) x

    20, XMLTable)

    21 XMLNamespaces (default 'http://www.whatever.com/response')

    22, ' / extras/Extra.

    23 passage x.extras

    24 columns

    VARCHAR2 (30) 25 phoneType PATH "phoneType".

    26, phoneNumber varchar2 (30) PATH "phone".

    27       ) (+) y

    28;
