Grounding always

I need the HP customer assistance and my Tablet back.

I bought a Tablet 2710p earlier this year. I love!

Going through airport security in the first March of the friendlies TSA forgot to stop the belt when it was full, and my Tablet went flying without me. OMG! No worries the data were still there and only the lock was broken. Happy I bought the fall of insurance (I thought).

I sent it in for repair (warranty 3 days), it took a week. When I came back it was no different when I sent it. No change whatsoever. I should have stopped there, but I fired a second time. This time they fixed the latch, and put in the wrong display. OK, let's try again, I sent that he back the third time they put in the right screen, but now the fingerprint reader will not work. I spoke at length with the agent, and she said that it had been hard enough and it was time to replace the unit. She gave me a number to call to begin the replacement process. When I called the number, they said, no, it's not past long enough (it is now October and it started in March.) try to fix it again. Reluctantly, I agree and send it in a fourth time (3 days return guarantee). After 2 weeks, I call and they are waiting for a part. After 3 weeks, I called again and they say that the party will be here in 10 days. I say that's not good enough and contact customer who agrees with me. No, I get somewhere!

Customer says they can replace the unit with a remanufactured unit that would be as good as new. I ask if it is put in the same operation. They say exactly except the hard drive is bigger and it has XP not Vista. I explained that I had just finished buying a bunch of compatible software Vista and that I need Vista. He made a call and decided to include a Vista disk for me with the device. It sends to the unit and...

You guessed it, the unit is not the same. It doesn't have a camera on it. The only thing I have is the only thing that that is not the new tablet. I spent the last three days trying to contact the case manager from PSG, but he did not return my calls or my email. I contacted the general number for the Group of business relations with clients and they said that they are all in a meeting and no one else can help me.

Help...

  • Ken Burns effect on the large picture, keeping the full quality?

    Hi, I have a few high ground always images to add to a video with a simple Ken Burns effect. I would like to keep the really high quality to zoom in, is there a way to do this, IE select the photo source rather than to import them when he has reduced the size of the project (a bit like Avid pan and scan function)?

    Thanks in advance

    TThis image is imported at full resolution. When it is put into a project, it's default scaling to fit this project, but its resolution is not diminished somehow. You can use Ken Burns to create an animation or the function of culture/culture or the scale and position to crop. The image is always at full resolution.

  • Why two soil types?

    Hello

    I'm a teacher-assistant manager of a few sessions in the laboratory where mechanical engineering students use the MyDAQ modules to learn more about the measures. In one experiment, we use both the 5V and +/-15V power sources a wheatstone bridge connected to an amplification of the IC (INA126). I assumed that since ALWAYS is the reference for sources of 15V and DGND is the reference for the 5V source, it will be best to ALWAYS connect both DGND to constant rail of our circuit, assuming I want exact supply voltages. However, doing so lead to any noise more or less brought to the circuit by the MyDAQ only against connect a ground (ALWAYS or DGND but not both)? We know the circuit "will work" with one of connected patterns, as a measure of resistance of DMM on unity of myDAQ by itself indicates as ALWAYS and DGND are linked together in their own countries in any case. One of my colleagues suggested that this would produce less noise only ALWAYS connect, but not DGND to this circuit. I ALWAYS thought and DGND should all be both be connected to the common rail to the circuit to avoid a possible ground loop/bias. Thank you for everything you can give me advice!

    Brian

    Hi Brian,.

    ALWAYS and DGND connected to the same land. They resemble a COM port. They should be no concern on the ground loops because the two ports are the same pattern.

    If you do not see different when behaviors the two different ground ports, let me know.

  • Browse function to change size check

    Hello
    I create a flash that you can resize with the browser and place a few autour film clip which moves with the size of the browser, (ex - video ground always goes down)
    Then I use the enterFrame function, so its still running and move the clips acording to the size of the browser.
    but it takes a lot of memory, is it possible to check if only the size of the browser is change.
    and do the moves? If it'll not take lotof memory

    I found the solution,

    stageL var: Object = new Object();
    stageL.onResize = function()
    {
    //
    }

    Stage.addListener (stageL);

  • Proxies created by CC 2015.3 but think that PP is in fact their use, always get ground 1/8th

    OK, so I've created the proxies and even tried to tie but how actually use them.  He always unable to go down to 1/8 ground and it does not play well so I defiantly don't actually use them.

    Ben

    If you configure the settings to ingest to create a proxy each time you import a new clip in your project, you should be good. For older projects, you may need to go in the project Panel, select clips and then right click and create proxies. There are some things that Pr does not proxy for compositions of AE, stills, matts etc. For the rare case, I give just a glimpse.

    Worse, go into your proxy site, delete the batch and ignore the warnings of the first on the missing proxies and get the first to recreate proxies in the project Panel and go get a coffee (or 10) while coding things!

    I make my own custom proxy cineform ingest particularly convenient setting.   I put it to overlay and burn, bottom right, a png image with the word 'proxy' at 20% opacity. I can see immediately then what first uses a proxy file (switch sometimes seems to take a second or two to implement after pressing the button toggle in the preview monitor).

    On a final note, I would say that if you do not see many benefits with proxy servers, try using a different codec for your proxy - highly compressed formats such as h.264 are very demanding CPU on your computer - even at lower resolutions. Using a codec like Cineform, Avid DnxHD (or apples ProRes - well as not an option in the SOUL under Windows), which have been designed to be used as intermediate (or in your case as a proxy) codecs translates into larger files (but not question that can remove when the project is done) but much less CPU demanding which is excellent for editing. You will also find the cleaning and change of speed of the video is much more fluid than in these codecs that each image is coded separately and not in the groups of pictures (where the changes between frames are coded, so your computer must decode a large number of images at a time just to show an image) for codecs such as h.264.

    I hope that it is useful and not too off-topic!

  • When you use two SN74123N multivibrators, I always get 'two sources of tension proved in parallel' when I connect the grounds

    It's okay if they are part of the same chip or not, whenever I connect a ground to two of them, the "two sources of tension proved in parallel" error when I try to simulate. The simulation works when I try to only use one of them and able to connect to the mass. But, when I try to use them both and connect them both to the mass, I get the error. Any ideas? • In a roaming network, Mac always connects with AE which is further away

    So, I had a roaming network for years to host a detached office which was too far from my house.  Worked very well.  Now, my family and I have moved into a temporary rented condo (two floors).  Therefore, there is a lot of wifi networks in the area in conflict with.

    After trying to extend the network (signal too low in the area), I decided to try the roaming network again.  Most of the time, it works very well.  But from time to time, my iMac (on the ground floor) connects with the Airport Extreme, which is on the floor instead of the Airport Express, which is down in the same room as the iMac.  What happens when it connects to the Airport Extreme on the floor, my Tx rate drops to less than 100 Mbps (sometimes dramatically if) and I am unable to listen to the music to my Airport Express without dropouts.

    The dressing was to turn off my wifi on the iMac, and then turn it back on.  It will then connect to the Airport Express.   The problem is that I have to do this in general once a day as my iMac will enter into the "standby" and periodically reconnect with Airport Extreme when I wake up (or if I re-enable it if off).  Ideally, he would stay with the Airport Express.

    So I hope that there is an alternative.  I thought about simply renaming the Airport Express network in the different name of Airport Extreme.  But all the itinerant instructions whereby I know that network names must be the same for all airports in the roaming network.  But perhaps this is not the case.

    Comments are appreciated!

    Unfortunately, you encounter a known issue with the use of a roaming network... and it is not specific to those provided by Apple either. The "solution" you use, although not elegant, is basically everything with that we have (at this time) to go.

    In theory, your iMac fixed, must always connect to the Wi - Fi with the signal network hard... not necessarily the closest to it. It may be possible, since you mentioned that you live in a highly congested environment Wi - Fi, your iMac is struggling to determine the right network to connect to when starting.

    Of course, a more "permanent" solution for your iMac, at least, would connect directly to the nearest base by Ethernet station.

  • "Ground feedback loop."

    I searched a lot of places to find the answer to this question, so I hope I can get help here.

    I first noticed this problem a few weeks ago.  I lived a few white lines rolling on one of my monitors (I use 2, normally).  So, I contacted the manufacturer of my video card, and they proceeded to solve several problems.  I consider myself a fairly technical person, so when they offered a possible culprit, I would try several things to fix.  Now, I liquidated their inconvenience when I realized that (stupid on my part) my computer was sitting on top of a speaker.  Move the speaker removed the lines... temporarily.  They returned a few hours later.  This made me think that it wasn't a physical problem with my hardware, but a sort of interference of the devices plugged into my computer.

    I found that by unplugging my audio device, interference went.  So, I tried "Routing" my audio through my DVR (by plugging my audio device on my PC in the entrance and exit of the DVR) but the rows returned.  Naturally, this made me think, it's the receiver (Pioneer Surround) I always used as my PC audio device, so I tried to connect my computer to my TV (LCD Sharp), but it produces the same result (even with nothing else plugged in).  Eager to solve the problem, I tried hang my PC up to my DVR (unplug the TV and receiver) and persistent interference.

    So, it seems that no matter WHAT, I plugged my sound card created this interference, but I use an INTEGRATED sound card, so if that was the problem, I was in big trouble.  As a last ditch effort, I found a pair of old speakers bureau with an AC adapter.  The adapter has only two pins, so I guess that means no basis (not exactly).  They worked.  No interference present on each monitor, cementing my theory, that it was a "ground loop", but...

    My question is, how can I fix it with other devices?

    Also, I have all the Tech Info. If this is necessary, but I don't know what information is needed in view of the issue.

    Edit: I have test points of sale that everything is attached and that they are properly grounded, there must be something I forgot.

    So, after some additional testing, I discovered that this problem is caused by a problem with my cable emitting interference. The cable line itself is originally a kind of interference and any equipment to which it transfers this interference. (TV, DVR box) It is including any device connected to these devices. Disconnect the cable from the cable box solved the problem, if this good obviously a problem with my cable provider.

    Sorry to bother someone.

  • Isolated ground and analog ground in Multisim

    What is the availability of isolated or analog grounds in Multisim?  Multisim allows 2 main types of designs, standard ground (can also be called grounding, represented always net '0') and digital terrestrial, but sometimes in a design, you will need several references to the ground for the different areas of design, including a ground Earth or chassis point, digital and analog ground terrestrial and sometimes ground isolated.

    How that this can be accommodated in a modeling Multisim and the point of view of layout?

  • LaserJet m225dn mfp pro: printer freezes up, power cord wrong or bad grounding?

    Hello.  We have an ongoing problem with this gel printer (backlight on).  I can say that it's okay if it passes in the standby mode.  If after the default, sleep, standby fails, it is always locked and requires a reboot.

    It comes with the power supply cord is too short, and relocation is very difficult.  I have been using two (seem to be very good) of the longer computer power cords.  One is 10' and the other is 12'.

    I tested the ground taken with a multimeter and it revient.2 v, which is not 0, but I think is pretty close.  There are other things on the same circuit.

    Problem is I can not test the normal short cord and easily keep the printer connected to the USB cord and a fax machine.  Would be a 10 or 12' power cord (no UPS online) will be enough to lock up this printer?   Thank you.

    I found the solution myself.  For a longer length, 14-gauge is necessary.  I have this and it seems to fix the problem.  He could have a blockage, but I'm not sure.  Been working normally for more than a week with this 15' cord

  • to walk on ground or pulverized virtual reality?

    Hello world

    I'm in the middle of planning a short film that will require a lot of work on green screen. Over the years, I've seen a number of making ofs of movies hollywood big budget, some of them involving a lot of green screen work as well. I noticed that every time a shot included feet of peoples on Earth, they don't are walking never on a green screen. the ground, whether it's a desert, or road or what was always reproduced in the studio. Why exactly is it? is it not possible to just walk on a green screen and replace the soil with anything you want. However, I guess if the pitch was very bumpy and them would be mounds of Earth or grass covering part of the foot actors that would be very difficult to recreate in post/compositing. My thought is correct here?

    My short film implies in particular an actor walking on a paved road (asphalt) could I dating the actor walking on a green screen and then later put it on the road under him? or are there unwanted artifacts/results that I don't know? Are ok/feasible smooth surfaces on a green screen and its just bumpy sirfaces requiring the 'true '?

    Thanks in advance for any advice

    see you soon

    The subtleties of the human market... In short: walk on green screen / blue always looks like floating. Works for reasons different results in different wheelchair foot, rotation of the pelvis etc... -walk in the sweet grass is different from walk in the sand, although the terrain is flat. Muscles, bones, and tendons at an unconscious level will compensate for compression, canting, direction, etc. and which in turn ripples up your spine, that affect the whole body posture. Since we see people every day, we see everything simply and if it does not fall into what we consider "normal" based on our experience, it seems bad. The eternal curse of 3D character animators. And Yes, of course som effects are difficult to add later. Depending on how fine or coarse pebbles in the ramp are casting the shadow, but also the overall saturation would be as different and may be more difficult to match...

  • Questions of grounding more info

    First of all im going to talk about my setup. (If its even rellivent)
    I have my desktop with my 2 computer speakers on and the screen in the middle. To the right of these speakers (on the desktop), I put the 'ART USB Phono' preamp. Trendy top is from him to the PC USB cable.
    I use 'Line In' on the preamp with cables that go from the 'Phono' out on the turntable.
    The Platinum is on another office to the right of the mine, the turntable is placed between 2 big 'Behringer' speakers (monitors) but theyre off! If the deck is about a metre or 2 to the right of the PC on a desk different control.

    In any case, I went to register this morning of vinyl and even before to play the recording, I was getting a REALLY loud staticy interference noise. Has proved that it was the USB cable to the back of the preamp, so I unplugged/replugged it in and I was getting more static. First of all, what's happened? Was - it USB cable touch other cables on my floor or what?

    I did not upgrade to the Earth only because I don't know how it works and how to properly put in place...

    I don't know if the wire would be the preamp stage then to pc? Or the turntable to PC then another Earth wire of the preamplifier to the PC? How would this work?

    Please help guys...

    Thank you very much.

    Hmm... When it comes to cable signals, the ground is not the easiest thing in the world, however you look at it.

    The continuity of the Earth (or ground) in your system will ground turntable to the preamp, and from there to the PC via the USB cable. The cable itself has a shielded external connection, and which is attached to the case of jams. Any breach of this string (even just a slightly loose Cableusb) will give rise to the kind of static type noise that you got. The whole system is not be connected directly on the ground to work either - it's the connections that are important from a point of view of signal. Often, just having connections to earth potential signals about is sufficient when it comes to screening of interference.

    Additional ground would help? Answer is - very probably not. The reason is that if you join some of this equipment as well as separate ground connections, you create two paths to a common ground rather than just the one that you had earlier. And it takes very little of potential difference between the points of connection in fact to create what is called a "loop of UM ' (or ground loop) which will put in place more noise there is in the first place!

    Unfortunately, the Earth and signal security requirements lead screening pretty much conflict with each other - 'good' security invariably land causes hum loops unless you cut one end of each cable between each piece of equipment and rely on the receptacle grounding to provide the common point. Problem with that is that if you unplug an in-between of feeding equipment, you've broken the chain of signal grounding and you could easily end up with massive hums who has no intention of. That is why all sensitive material to the shield of the issues (such as your turntable) has a separate ground between her connection and upstairs preamplifier with the really sensitive part, isolated within the hub. Little separate wire that goes to the floor on the preamp is the only connection, you must use the land. But it creates this reference to the ground must be connected to the Earth of your PC, and happens via the USB screen.

    So if you want to try an arrangement separate from the ground, the only place where you could possibly get an advantage (only with the possibility of introducing some UM, as mentioned above) is having a connection separated between the Terminal on the preamp USB Earth with your PC - just a piece of wire is attached to the case; at least it could overcome the problem of loose screen on the USB cable connection. But quite frankly, change anything else is just as likely to cause problems such as cure them.

    If you experience, so whatever you do, do not try to remove any safety ground connection in the power outlets to get rid of hum, as some people do. It's simply asking trouble of the kind that you don't really want. There are always better solutions than that.

  • Casts a shadow on the ground with green screen images

    Hello

    I have pictures of green screen of a player market with a green screen. After the green screen overlay I want to cast a shadow of the object on the ground. Seems simple enough :-) I have tried everything I can think my green screen images like a layer 3D and then add lights, which appear to be rising shadows/light on the actor, but not cast shadows. Shadow a shadow directly behind the actor but no way to "move" it is on the floor.

    If someone could provide guidance, I would be very happy.

    If I try to apply a drop shadow or a radial shadow the shadow BEHIND the actor not appear below. I must do this 10 times more difficult it must be.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks again,

    Bob

    I'm not enter the question, then, sorry. Just use the shade that you have captured. A chromakeyer to shadow is not difficult.

    The problem with faking a shadow is, Yes, it is ten times more difficult than do in the original shooting because of all the problems we have discussed. There is no interaction with the feet with a layer of shadow and 3D projection is realistic enough to be accepted by an audience; It will still look fake. You CAN create a 3D shadow carefully placing a light in a 3D scene and place a copy of your matted character perpendicular to the light source and by setting the layer to cast the shadow only. But this is not always true.

    I noticed that Apple Mail is always "Download Messages".  This process will occur approximately every 10 minutes.  This is usually between 250 and 270 messages.  (screenshot)  However, there is no double or extra emails.  In addition, the number of downloaded emails usually does not change (perhaps by 1 or 2 later in the day).

    I have 4 email accounts in Mail, which are all Gmail accounts.  I went through each account settings and made sure they are all handled in the same way and have the same options are checked.

    I think I found the problem with account, because I tried with the right button and select "Take account offline" when I see that it starts to download the messages.  Once I have put offline, the download stops.  I tried to remove this suspected account and Add again, but it still does the same thing.  Any help would be appreciated!

    Hello and welcome to the communities of Apple support, ggerrits.

I can certainly understand how she could become a nuisance to see permanently who warn even if no new messages are actually downloading. I'm happy to help him to stop appearing.

    You've done some excellent troubleshooting already to refine what e-mail account, what's happening with. The next thing that I recommend you do is to make sure that you run the version of OS X El Capitan, which should be 10.11.6. Using your Mac update, take a look at updating the software on your Mac. If you haven't done so already, I recommend also restart your Mac. Test the Mail after doing those two things.

    If the problem persists, follow these steps:

    1. With Mail open, select "Mail" in the upper left corner of your screen and select Preferences.
    2. Select the tab accounts.
    3. Select the e-mail account that you are having the problem with.

    Next, close and then restart Mail to see if you feel the same way.
