GTX 970 and CC 2015

Hi guys,.

I'm about to buy Adobe CC 2015.

My current system uses an Nvidia Geforce GTX 970. However, I noticed that the GTX 970 is not in the list of GPUS supported for 2015 of CC.

I just want to know, preference of the official agent of Adobe, if the 970 GTX is supported in 2015 from CC.

Please advise as soon as possible

Thank you

The GeForce GTX 970 is offiically supported

Of course, it says not supported, but I doubt because I'm scared like * BEEEP! * now that I saw this topic I searched

Now the 900 series cards are tested very well with the MPE engine and acceleration of time. I have not seen any limitation, including the effects. So I don't know where people are facing problems. Acceleration of EI is Raytracer and on track. Do not expect in the Nvidia drivers to maintain the AE version has even and I would be surprised if the new maps to work with it since Adobe is emerging. Very little use at this stage and C4D with octane is much better especially for GPU acceleration.

upgrade my gpu gtx 970 and cpu change

Here is the computer Service and Maintenance Guide .  If you start on Page 31 and read the pages that follow, there is information about the processors compatible with the motherboard.

In regards to the 970 GTX, if your motherboard has UEFI it should work.  However, you will need to upgrade the power supply (PSU), also.  The current PSU is only 300W.  It is not enough to feed the GTX 970.  You will need to go to the manufacturer's Web site to get the specifications of the card.  I think you want to upgrade to a power supply at least 500W, maybe more.  You need to measure the space for the video card to ensure that there is enough of the card.  I think that they are at least 10 "long.

  • HPE-H8-1010: Gtx 970 stop start

I recently bought a Msi Gtx 970 and it arrived yesterday. However, after upgrading my power to 750 watts and the installation of the graphics card, the computer started and froze on the splash screen for hp. I have triple everything checked, updated my bios and tried to make the map work for consolidated five hours, but nothing helps. Does anyone know what could happen and how can I get my graphics card to work?

    Hello

Most of the NVIDIA GTX 970 graphics cards will not work in your PC with a few exceptions.  What is the model number of the MSI graphics card?

Check with MSI and see if there is a cure.

  • Replacement 760ti GTX with GTX 970 in an R2 of Alienware X 51?

Just did a little research, and from what I can tell the reference GTX 970 and 760ti share the same exact dimensions in length and depth; and use less power at idle and supported; and it gives off less heat.

Does anyone know if there will be complications with my GTX with a GTX 970 760ti replacement?

    Hello

So, I also want to put an EVGA gtx 970 in my 51 r2 x. The new alienware x 51 r2s, even with the power supply 330 watts, being supplied with gtx 960s. These require a minimum of 400w, but alienware are themselves uncomfortable with selling them with the new x51s. So I think a 970 should work okay, if you have the 330w PSU. I read a lot of testimony that the x 51 r2s supports the 970 s and same years 980, but I don't want you may have a 980. So I guess I'm torn between 960 and 970

  • Conclusion on the compatibility of GTX 970/980?

I read so many different opinions that I'm now completely confused. I would like to know if it was definitively concluded weather 970 GTX has problems of compatibility with the Adobe Suite. It seems that it is at least NOT supported for After Effects ray tracing rendering engine, but it becomes obsolete anyway. I would like to know if there are PROBLEMS with rendering, playback or export into After Effects or Premiere Pro when you use the 970? Or, if the video card is fully used by the Adobe software? (Excluding Ray tracing)

UPDATE: I've read that people are successful with the GTX 970 and first pro, but many people are struggling to allow it. Could someone possibly provide instructions?

Then, you shouldn't have to do something to make it work with first for the acceleration of the EMT.  It will be just plug and play.

GPU-GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 970 for Adobe Premiere Pro CC (2015)? Yes or no?!

Hello. I would buy GIGABYTE GPU GeForce GTX 970 4 GB but I can't find the map on the website of Adobe system requirements. What GPU will work for Adobe Premiere Pro CC (2015)? Is activated GPU acceleration? Thanks a lot for your reply and advice in advance. Martin

They tend to cards list itself more, as they did... so they list the requirements for cards that work with the programs. Who are a minimum of 1 GB of vRAM and a few other things. As the production of internal software of the card, which is like a '3.0' or whatever and all 900-series cards are way beyond that... so with a 4 GB of vRAM card, the other issue is the number of cores CUDA has?

Current recommendations are to stay above 1 000 CUDA cores... .and most 970, I've seen are listed with hearts CUDA along 1600... so it should be good. I myself use a 970 GTX w4GB vRAM. Now... a good GPU does not in itself and make an editing machine who shouts, as only certain things go by the GPU in PrPro in any case. A bad can certainly slow things, however.

  • HP Pavilion Elite HPE-372f: MS-7613 (Iona-GL8E and GTX 970 bios update

Hi, my system is supplied with the card mother MS-7613 (Iona-GL8E! I'm trying to see if there is an update available to the BIOS before updating my video card for GTX 970.  I already upgraded my power to 600 W for the 970. My current version of BIOS [according to Windows system] is American Megatrends Inc. 6.07 date 19/05/2010. Please help me find where I can get an update of the bios for my motherboard.

Here is more information on my system:

    Right now I'm really confused!

After reading the return of Best Buy Canada policy [which gives me 14 days to return my purchased GPU]. I decided to go against the advice I got from this thread and another HP forum.

I bought the Zotac GTX 970 at Best Buy, thinking it could be a very small chance that it will work, and if it does not work I have he's coming back!

To my surprise after installing it, it started no problem! I installed the latest drivers from the website of Zotac and then rebooted the system, but still no problems!

I ran all the points of reference 3-DMark, more than twice with no problems! [which is about 7 times faster than my ATI hd5770]

    Here are my results: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/6457066

I played a few minutes with the deity: sin of origin with ultra graphics to 80 FPS and still no problem!

I also played a few minutes with supreme commander2 [game 2010 year] at 60 FPS and still no problem!

I close on my computer about ten times, just to make sure that the system is stable and still no problems!

Here are two pictures of my information system showing that I run the version of the BIOS HP 6 and the GTX 970!

I only used it for two days and I hope I won't run into problems in the future!

So my advice is to check your store for their return policy and try again the GTX 970 yourself! Don't let not the other experiences of volunteers/users HP form this discourage you from trying it!

PS Don't forget to upgrade your block of POWER 500 W. [I mine improved 460-w 600 W Corsair]

  • Re: Graphics Card Help... flag p6523w and gtx 970 low use of the graphics card

    Hello

I seem to have a problem with an add on the graphics card in my Pavilion p6523w

(Yes, this 12 '' long card fits into the case without problem)

upgrades made so far for this machine:

    Antec 600W PSU

    additional hard drive

    upgrades memory 12 GB (2x2gb original + 2 x 4 GB modules)

AMD Phenom II 1045 6 hearts

    ASUS 144 Hz 27 "monitor

The ATI integrated graphics card is disabled in the bios, and I was running an evga gtx 460 for two years with no problems.

When I "upgraded" to a new gtx Gigabyte 970 OC with 4 GB of vram (not the version of g1, the next one down) I came across a problem

the new video card will not work at full load when running the games.

On tests of reference such as furmark and the reference of the sky, it works fine.

On World of Warcraft and Second Life different viewers, it only works 25% rates of burden and the frame down about 15 fps at 32 fps. (it is slower than the old gtx 460)

Other people with this same card to receive 100 + FPS on graphics settings maxed out in Second Life

This is not a matter of processor bottleneck, because the processor will never more than 60 percent load while it is happening.

I tried different versions of drivers availible for this card.

Whenever I changed drivers, I booted in safe mode and DDU to remove the old drivers before installing a different version.

No change in performance between driver versions.

No change in performance with different graphics settings in games.

No change in performance with different settings in Control Panel NVidia

I'm starting to wonder if there is an incompatibility between this card and the motherboard Bios causing this problem.

Is the newest bios American Megatrends 6.04 version?

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

    Mark S.

There is no problems listed under the dxdiag for my system. Apparently, this card can work with older motherboards.

I just discovered that this issue of throttleing was a fairly frequent problem quite some 970 and 980 based gtx cards and a solution that works for me.

There is a 3rd party outside vbios that changes the limit of use NT 250 watts up to 275 watts of power.

It is the only change from the original version.

Flashing your Vbios may void the warranty on your video card

Another thing to check is the voltage drop as possible on the 12VDC feeding the card.

Some people have experienced this problem and it causes the same symptoms.

This was not the case in my system, but it's one thing to check before resorting to some flashes of the vbios.

If you are planning on flashing the Vbios from your video card, be sure to save a copy of the original Vbios in case you need to restore the map to the stock.

970GTX cards work fine with CC. You must ensure that you have the latest driver from Nvidia.

  • Bugs of performance NIVIDIA GTX 970 with Photoshop CC - flicker of window resizing.

    Hello Adobe community.

I recently bought a new computer with a GTX 970 Skylake generation, running Windows 7.  I download the trial version of Photoshop CC in order to test the performance of the machine before I commit to a subscription.

I noticed a few flickers in the upper part of the canvas, when you try to resize the window by dragging the lower corner in disconnected mode.  I did some searching through the forums and came across a couple of people with similar problems, but it doesn't seem to be a solution outside powered GPU accelerated features.

Canvas restless movements in Photoshop CC 2015 [was: looking for forum mod/staff with GTX 970]

I just want to know if this bug can be fixed or I have to choose a different GPU that is supported by adobe?  Quadro is overpriced and quality of consumer parts available?

No indication on the issue would be greatly appreciated.   Thank you.

    Mick

Thanks for the comments.  Not everyone comes back and tells us what fixed their problem, and it may be useful to many people.  The stats for the show in Adobe forums > 1 million visits per week!

Woah!  I thought I'd better go to verify the information, and I was miles. The real number is 1.27 million views per day.  I can't link to the original because it is in a closed area forum.

With regard to the NVIDIA Control Panel, there are a lot of settings, and you can often make a big difference tweaking their.  For example my laptop that uses a GTX680M, wouldn't let me the value of acceleration GPU, but twenty minutes in the fixed Control Panel.

  • HP Pavilion 15: Can I upgrade my GTX 970 graphics card or 980

Replace that? It is a solid unit welded together. There is nothing to remove and replace it with something else, that's what I'm trying to say. How do you imagine this replacement is going to happen? A standard desktop video card won't slip into a laptop so what kind of thing are thinking you that you can stick in there?
