  • BlackBerry Smartphones recent contacts Sync problem

    Hi all

I recently started having bad sync my contacts and calendar (Outlook and Windows Vista 32).  The trouble began shortly after the synchronization attempt with an error message "Can't read application information."  It happens exactly at the same place.  He's going to 'read' 193 all my contacts but stops at "transformation" 187 of 193 of these contacts.  Phone is a Curve 8320 with 4.5 recently upgraded to os level and DM v4.6, both downloaded from T-Mobile.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    P. S. thank you all for the help in my operating system upgraded, even if you didn't know that you gave it me.

Hi and welcome to the forums...

You have all null values in your Outlook address book? Usually, you can find them by sorting by name and look for empty entries. Also, you have an images associated with any of your contacts? (link to KB) If so, try to delete the photo.

If your Outlook address book is the same as your phone, you can do this step.

First, backup of your phone. If your address book is the same device and Outlook, use the BACKUP / ADVANCED and disable your address book on your Blackberry Handheld and re-synchronization. He must fill everything from Outlook to your BB.

If this does not work or you have a difference on the number of addresses on the BB from Outlook, then you can delete (backup first) your address book using GUI BACKUP/ADVANCED and re - import your address book on your Blackberry Handheld, using the advanced graphical user interface. This backup - restore will be re - index address book DB and can correct the problems. Then try to re-sync.

  • Presentation of the multiSite screen

    Hi gentlemen,

    My setup.

    -1 x with active MultiSite C40.

    -1 x C20

    -1 x Movi

C40 launches a MultiSite opening C20 and Movi. In C40 I got several presentation of the screen but to the Movi and C20, I had available to active speakers (to not)

several layout of the screen). Is this normal or should I get several presentation screen in Movi and C20?

Depends on what "distance in family" has been defined, you can set this to anything you want or by

    CLI:

    xConfiguration RemoteLayoutFamily video presentation:

    or through the web gui:

  • Disable the autoload software instrument GUI, when you select a track

OK, so maybe this is the most recent update or I can I have turned it on by pressing a wrong button.  But, in the past, when a track was a software instrument are entrusted to him, to open the instrument interface, you would:

1 Select the track via the console mixer or main scenario

    2. click on the small button that looks like horizontal sliders in the middle of the channel strip that would open the GUI

However, these last something has changed so do anything when I'm selecting a track via the mixing console or the main timeline, the GUI of instrument software automatically loads and opens.  As you might think, it's incredibly frustrating and certainly not necessary.  Especially when it's a heavier instrument like Komplete Kontrol and must Access files more major libraries.   I want to just go back to the way it was, where I have to click on the button in the image above to launch the GUI.

Update on the OS and logic, the latest versions of both.

I'm hoping this is an easy (probably) in trouble, but I can't seem to find any info on what caused it to change to auto load.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Never mind!  I got a PreSonus Faderport plugged, and it was the origin of the problem.  Logic has had another problem of GUI, and as soon as I unplugged the Faderport, things are back to normal.  He followed the question all the time, and I never thought to unplug the unit.

  • GUI GUI of Netflix needs work!

I have a BDP-S570. I bought a LG blu - ray player the same day I bought this S570. I did a test on bench of head to head with the speed of loading of Netflix and comparison of GUI. Sony S570 was much faster on Netflix load time, blu - ray disc loading speed and the speed of navigation in the menus, but the Sony Netflix GUI on the S570 was basic with few features compared to the LG. I kept the S570 because overall, the Sony has exceeded and I'm a big fan of Sony but the blu - ray LG GUI players have an advanced feature like FF fast forward jump to the top of the images when the fast forward button is pushed similar if not exactly to the GUI of Wii. The LG Netflix GUI has also larger images of film and a search function to add at the moment (Que.) Sony Netflix MISTLETOE is a very basic GUI. I know, we will see an improvement to the Sony Netflix GUI in the near future of one of the best companies in the electronic world.

The BluRay player Sony has a fast forward and return quick functionality when streaming videos. The arrows left/right and buttons FF/RW drive BD remote control works. If you do not see this pop up feature, make sure that your device has the latest version of the firmware:

    http://eSupport.Sony.com/us/Perl/SWU-Li... dl = BDPS570

Sony engineers are working on an update to improve the Netflix Application on all Sony products with Netflix streaming capability. No ETA at this time, please don't visit our eSupport last updated firmware.

  • LabWindows CVI GUI problems on XP Embedded

I developed a CVI 9.0 application that works fine on XP Pro.  On an XP Embedded system, however, when the application is started the GUI came but it appeared that all the text labels are absent and some controls showed no right.  I could click on the controls and the application does what it was designed to do.  I thought that maybe some of the font files had disappeared so I copied all the files from XP Pro system fonts and installed on the XP Embedded system but it has not fixed the problem.

    See the attached screenshots...

I developed an application with CVI 6.0 for a XP system eight years ago and it works fine on the XP Embedded System.

    Has anyone seen this problem?

I solved the problem simply by going to regional & Language Options Advanced and set to English (United Kingdom), then back to English (United States) and that some how my problems solved.

  • GUI is unresponsive upon receipt of data

I am relatively new to Labview and still getting used to the model data flow programming. I'm using LV as a control panel for some software and hardware running on an FPGA for a prototype I've created. Communication with the FPGA is made using the UART and seems to work correctly. I have however the problem as my command buttons unresponsive in certain special occasions. I think that the best way to go here, it is that I explain what must do my program (and what I think he should do), post my VI, explain when it blocks and I hope someone can help me to identify the problem.

As I said LV is supposed to be the Control Panel, via this Panel the user can change some settings and start/stop the measurement. Orders should be sent to the FPGA (ZYBO Board for those interested) which applies the commands and sends return measures.

I founded my VI on the simple state machine model and build the rest from there. I tried not to use too variable, as I read that this breaks the flow of data model, but sometimes I could not find another way.

It is thus the VI should work: after initialization, it should be waiting for the event status, pending a change in the value of the start/stop button or the button exit. Every second, a timeout event occurs and LV checks with the FPGA (and sends the commands to the FPGA). If the Start button is pressed the FPGA starts to measure in each packet, it returns the FPGA will tell how tall are there are still and send the data 60bytes to LV most of the time the UART communication is the bottleneck and the number of measures will begin to grow. During this time, however, I am still able to change the values of the controls I have send to the FPGA (I like). If I press the start/stop button once again I send the command stop to the FPGA, which means that it will stop measuring, but always send data to LV I think VI makes a loop on the same States when it measures (communication-> button control-> manage data-> communication). Meanwhile however the GUI does not appear to meet my keys, it won't let me change the commands I send or even use the exit button. This lack of response remains while I get data. Once the number of remaining measures hits 0 (the variable 'name' in VI) goes back to the State "in anticipation of the event" and at that time there my previous keys are executed. (So let's say that I pressed the convenient stop button are still some measures should be sent, if only the moment where I press the exit button it will not respond but once the communication has been completed, it will record key press exit and exit the VI.)

I tried to avoid working with timers since communication is the bottleneck for the moment, this is the reason why I will not return to the State "wait event" once the measures began.

I hope my explanation is clear, that otherwise, I'm happy to clarify even more (or reword if necessary). A summary of my problem:

During the time that I am able, and receive data I have to loop through the same States that when I stopped position and am simply receive data ("communication-> button-> handle control') data-> communication. When I am able the GUI is always sensitive and when I stopped measuring it is not. I hope that someone can help me to find the problem and we hope to offer you a solution.

    Thanks in advance!

PS as I said that I am relatively new to programming LV so if you see some other "nono" you can also tell me to improve myself.

It is the nature of the beast when it comes to State Machines. This is why if you perform operations of a lot of time, you will need a parallel loop in order to accept user input. Look in the architecture of messages in queue manager that comes with LabVIEW. It is essentially a structure of the event in a loop that sends messages to another loop through a queue. The loop (slave) receiver is on these messages and takes as long as he wants without interrupting the user input.

In other news, it seems that you used the simple state machine good enough popularize and how to configure reports and other things. Here are a few tips none-the-less:

    • You don't need the structure of the sequence. Your code already follows the stream, so you don't need to create separate data sections. It compartmentalizes the code and ultimately get rid of the ability of LabVIEW to perform some of these operations in parallel to increase the speed of execution. Structured sequence should be used when you do not have a way to control the operation order (by adding a wait between two operations, etc.).
    • You can move the control command structure of the event and manage changes in value through a shift register. There is overhead associated with reading the control every single loop.
    • Once you look into the QMH architecture, you will be able to get rid of all the Boolean reading of output you have in each case. The structure of the event should contain all your controls to optimize the functionality of input from the user.
    • You have the cluster of error through each case because the model put there for you, but you do not use. You should the dishes your clusters of error through so that you know if you made a mistake somewhere. Your initialization and Comm States should have it wired for sure to see if you have a series being undermined.

    Hi Tom,

When you create a new application to your specification to Build, you must set the 'Pass all arguments for application command line' in the Advanced tab.

Once you do that it should all work.

  • Reset the Web GUI on the M600 iDRAC

    Hello

I have problems of access to the iDRAC web gui on a couple of blades M600 (needed to get the console and re - install the operating system).

I read on Google that racadm racreset running can solve the problem, but this seems to be only available on of m610?

When I ssh into the M600 blade I gives me a prompt SMASH CLP Console (v1.08) and can not find everything related to actually reset the interface itself idrac.

Is it still possible on a M600?  Otherwise, how can we reset the iDRAC interface?  It does not fundamentally on port 80 - unlike our other blades, also M600s.

Thank you very much in advance for any pointers or direction.

    Thank you

    SoC

    Rob,

An option to rest iDRAC on M600 is with the CMC. You can connect to the CMC and perform iDRAC reset page "Overview-> troubleshooting-> Reset chassis components. Select iDRAC reset for the corresponding housing option. You can also do CMC Racadm. Run "racadm racreset m - Server -" of SSH or using remote racadm and CMC IP.

What iDRAC firmware you have on M600? 1.65 is the last FW for iDRAC M600. If you do not have this FW on iDRAC can you update and check the same. You can download the same from

    www.Dell.com/.../PowerEdge-M600

  • How to develop the GUI of Blackberry in Netbeans (RAD).

    Hello

I want to develop Blackberry GUI quickly.  so I prefer Netbeans IDE 6.5 but I'm unable to find drag and drop features of rapid development of applications such as JME. So please help if you know how RAD blackberry 4.7 on netbeans 6.5

    Thanks in advance.

    -Jitu.

If you want to do a moped for Blackberry then use Netbeans with the Visual Designer.

But after all, do not forget to use the preverify.exe utility (located in the JDE/bin folder of the Java development environment).

It is necessary to check the MIDlet jar bytecode to meet the requirements of the API of the RIM.

In case you want to create the GUI with net.rim classes in Netbeans there is no way, using MDS Studio.

  • Recommend a book for GUI concepts.

    Hi gurus,

The subject says it all. I was never a fan of GUI programming. Always avoided. But now the BB I guess I have no choice but to dive head first into the GUI. In looking KB articles I realize I have very weak concepts of the fact that the graphical object or the Paint method and the method of layout and all that of other GUI things. Can someone recommend a good java GUI book that could help out me in the programming of BB. Something more than a book of beginner level.

    Much obliged.

PS. I already beginning BlackBerry development by Anthony Rizk. Great book, but it touches just briefly on the GUI.

Agree with the last two posts.

More GUI controls keep getting included in the BONES, which can help, but only if you are targeting the current operating systems.

In my opinion, the two most useful GUI related KB articles are:

All the experts out there, I am a volunteer for installation of the IPT (voice) for my church.  They have a 2911ISR router that I'm trying to install / set up for a small Office Setup.

The question is stated: need to (re) install CUE to get the GUI (web Interface) to work?  It comes with CUE 8.6.6 on module ISM-SRE-300-K9.  But I don't know if it's because the GUI isn't here or if I have configured the interfaces and route incorrectly.
