  HEVC is a bear to the central unit.  Your best option is to transcode to Cineform, or create a proxy support.

  I am trying to create some very high resolution (6 k), content VR which means h.265 is necessary. I have never used after effects or Media Encoder and wanted to give it a shot before giving up the money. As far as I can tell the encoder must support HEVC but it is not there in the presets. Is not yet part of the Media Encoder encoding HEVC or am I missing something?

  You're right: HEVC is not available in the trial version of Adobe Media Encoder.

• Export of PP thru SOUL in DVD codec is incomplete video

  I tried 7 times to export a sequence of 5 minutes using the DVD is predefined in the SOUL that matches my sequence that is; MPEG2-DVD NTSC 23.976 p wide.

  The wav file is all of 5 minutes, but the video file is only 03:04 it's the case of overtime. I have the entire sequence of the export value in the timeline panel and I tried both from the outside and any sequence in SOUL. Nothing works.   With the update 2015.3, Ingest presets have been added and are needed for Proxy and Ingest workflows. Encoding presets is the same presets that you would create in previous versions of first, SOUL, etc.

  Ingets presets have additional functions, and may also include a preset encoding. So, you have already done the first part in creating your desired preset encoding. In the SOUL, you now want to create a pre-defined Ingest new (+ predefined browser button or go to "Preset" menu > Create ingest Preset). In the dialog box settings preset to ingest, check the 'Field to transcode to Destination' box, set a Destination, set the Format to the Format that you have created your encoding preset with and then set Preset in your "Preset" created Encoding.

  Click OK and the preset to ingest it is now ready. Go in first and dialogs settings interfere or create proxies, click on the Add button ingest predefined, select your Preset ingest (found in default predefined location or you can export the preset in SOUL to any desired location).

• No Audio of SOUL [AE project/Mac]

  Export my project in After effects by SOUL translates into a video without the sound. Audio is checked. Tried multiple configurations, third-party stock H.264 presets and nothing seems to work. I put multiplexing None to isolate the audio file that came up empty.

  I'm still fairly new to the world of video, but I did not yet find a solution to this problem. Exporting in EI results in a video with sound, however I would use a specific predefined TEA of optimization of YouTube that has more options vs the built-in converter. Any help? The project deadline is coming :/

  • Export your SOUL clip
  • Import this footage in Premiere Pro
  • Check if it comes with Audio or without.

• SOUL CC 2014 cannot add some Presets HELP!

  I'm on a Mac OS 10.9.4

  I have a rotation beach ball whenever I try to add a preset. If I import a preset, it works temporarily.

  But the preset seems to disappear from the menu, replaced by a h264 with no information?

  If I try to delete the setting predefined, once again a rotation beach ball and I have to force to leave.

  Try going to Users/%username%/Documents/Adobe/Adobe Media encode/8.0 and delete the presets folder. Then restart SOUL. It's working now?

• SOUL long delay adding media or presets

  Any thoughts are appreciated.  I searched but not found much, do not know what terms to use.

  How much do custom presets, you added to the SOUL now? There is a problem that we have seen where a large number of custom presets can slow down the SOUL, especially in the areas you describe.

  I just bough new Panasonic HPX250 camera and now I try to ingest images with Prelude.

  Each time after Media Encoder loads the source and tried to start encoding, it will end in failure (see image)

  I also tried to uninstall all packet CC and cleaned with the cleaning of CC tool and indeed it twice. Original film is on 1080i50 and I try just transcode it to clip single MXF with the same parameters cos in a clip of more than 60 minutes P2 card is cut into several clips. My goal is to get that in a peace in first.

  HI -.

  QE reports that this could be related to a known issue with smart rendering for your selected transcode preset. Please try disabling smart rendering in the SOUL. To do this, open the SOUL and find the preset you use: it must be in format MXF OP1a-> AVC-Intra. Right click on the preset that you use and select 'settings preset... ". ». In the predefined parameters dialog box that appears, select the 'VIDEO' tab and scroll down until you see the checkbox "Enable made Smart codec '. Uncheck the box which.

  Because you have changed the default state of the preselection, you can now save this as a CUSTOM preset. Give it a name at the top of the dialog box default settings (in the "name of preset:" field).  Then click the SAVE A COPY button at the bottom of the dialog box.  This preset you created now appears in the prelude.

  Rallymax is correct about the case where you export agency. Similarly, if you import a work directly in the SOUL and change the F4V in another format to export/preset, then SOUL usually apply the same format/preset for the jobs that you import.

  However, there are cases where the SOUL returns to F4V to imported new jobs. One of these cases: export a job to reset AGENCY 'Memory' of the SOUL, so the following import enters the queue as F4V work.

  A way to get the location format every time is to drop the source directly on the preset desired in built-in browser of SOUL. To facilitate the search for your favorite presets, consider creating an alias for the predefined system or predefined custom, which can be an exact copy of a "Preset" System. Whatever it is, the new preset appears in the presets section and groups of users in the upper part of the built-in browser. While we are in the neighborhood, I would call one of the handyest new features in CS6: you create a custom preset group, add an assortment of aliases and custom presets. Then, when you drop a source on the record of the group, SOUL will add the source to the queue with an output for each preset in the group. Voila! A batch created in a single step.

  Adobe just gives H265 support. I was wondering what Final Cut Pro x will win the support? Because it takes me countless hours to transcode my media.
