Specifically, I use the default on InsertRelatedAfterCurrent and all the ones warning settings. (I don't want to be notified). I also use the tabs on the background plugin which needs to be reinstalled after major updates. I run Firefox at least 4 separate machines is a pretty huge headache of having to reconfigure after each update. Is there a way to tell Firefox to date but only change my settings back to the defaults?

  Is it possible that you used refresh? Sometimes after an update installs Firefox displays a message that it runs very slowly and you can improve performance by restoring the default settings.   I looked at your targeted links and I have just one question before proceeding.  I could be wrong, but it appears that I might have to reconfigure my settings entirely after the reset of the router to its default settings.  In addition, it seems to say that the only way to avoid the total reconfiguration is to save my current settings before a reset, but that also seems to require knowledge of my user name and password to access the configuration... page which of course, I've lost.  In essence, interpret this information to say that without a knowledge user name and password, I don't have the option to make a backup of my existing configuration, or do a "reset" and I so I only have the option for a «hard "reset and a complete manual reconfiguration after the reset... am I was right this interpretation?»

  For now, I have 1 PS5000 in a group. In this group there are many volumes (VM, oravle, files...).

  I think the best way to change this is to add the new PS in this group and then enable the option "delete" for the old man.

  • Is there some requirement before doing this? (PS must have same firmware etc...)

  You can take a backup copy of the Database before you perform the upgrade. OME to do the same. This will help to save the current configuration. When you perform the upgrade, most of the settings except the catalogue and the proxy credentials are retained, so you have to reenter the proxy credentials and you will need to download the catalogue you need for the system update once again the successful upgrade.

  We have installed Hyperion with MS SQL Server 2005. Hyperion 11.1.1.3 works well.

  But in the SQL server data files will register in C drive only. But we have to back up the files in drive E.

  I used the Attach and Detach method to move files from C drive to E drive.

  After that, I am reconfiguring the EPM system. but I get errors in the configuration.

  Now I get the planning of database failed when Confiuring planning.

  Configuration of data source interface has failed in the Configuration of EPMA.

  In our environment, we use VMware ESX 4.0.0 but now we try to improve our environment to ESX 4.0.0 to ESXi.4.1.0

  All ESX hosts are bladecenter and they use a shared storage (SAN).  All ESX are in a cluster in vCenter.  In vCenter Vmotion, DRS and HA of this cluster is on.

  If no on has upgraded their VMware ESX 4.0 environment to ESXi 4.1.0 then please let me know any upgrade.

  What are the important things that I have to take care. I also want to know what are the documents I have to do before moving on to ESXi 4.1.0

  Can I add ESX and ESXi hosts in a single cluster and create the mixed environment?

• Conversion of SLES 10 Server

  I'm currently testing convert/import a Novell SLES 10 Server ESXi 4, which according to the compatibility list should work, but keep running into trouble.

  I used the converter stand alone to try to import the server in the virtual machine.  I can connect to the source and the destination, and when the process is supposed to be the kickoff on the ESXi server, I get the following error:

  Message to : insufficient video RAM.  The maximum resolution of the virutal machine is limited to 880 x 663 16 bits per pixel.  To use the configured maximum resolution of 2360 x 1770 to 16 bits per pixel, increase the amount of video memory allocated to this virtual machine by setting svga.vramSize = "16708800" in the virtual machine configuration file.

  Here is the point that I can't.  When I cancel the conversion disappears from the server ESXi virtual machine, so I managed to catch the virtual machine between creation and power and have adjusted to auto detect video card settings.  When I catch up with this the ESXi server then sitting at an event ' Reconfigured "after turning on.»  I left the day system sit overnight where it was actually do something, even if I do not see any activity on the source of transformation system or network.

  Are there other measures I could perhaps try to get this machine to import?  I'm testing this as a proof of concept for new projects in the next year, and if I can't import SLES servers in VMs it will eventually make my job a lot harder.  Thank you!

  Just to throw this out there, but have you tried hard coding the server (to convert) video resolution to something like 800 x 600 for during the conversion process?

  What about using VMware Converter (4.0.1) for Linux (installed on the converted system, and running here)? I found that most of the time, if I need to use the stand-alone converter, I need to run it on the system to convert... You could also give the 5 VizionCore vConverter a shot (now supports ESXi)...

  I am preparing to update our virtual Center Server.  I read in the guide.  It seems straight forward.  I have listed the steps that I follow. Any comments or advice would be appreciated.

  4. I manage 3.0.1 by 3.5 hosts with the new version of vCenter.  Fix ESX, one host at a time in the coming months.  Expected problems?

  Don't believe the hype.  What's weird, people have no problem to put 4 vCPU virtual machine and 16GB of RAM and SQL server, but on a PHYSICAL machine, they wince over 2 services on the same machine... I find it VERY strange.

  We UM, Capacity planner, blah blah converter on the same machine, no problem.  They are on one different server other than VC however, only because at the point where I was trying to diagnose a problem with the Windows machine, and it turned to be a driver for the CARD, which has long since been corrected.  When I updated to 4.0 VC, so these are all on the same box... Well good except for the UNIFIED messaging and it is only because the other machine has back-end storage / DB that I want to use instead, but this isn't a problem.

  Looks like we're on the same timeline.  I am doing a server tonight, using the VC... host update utility that should be fun.  So you have to compare notes.

• Re-install LabVIEW after the reconfiguration of the IP address and computer name

  I was working with LabVIEW 8.6. Recently, I reconfigured its name and the IP address of my desktop computer and rebooted the system (recommended once you change the IP address). LabVIEW8.6 has stopped working because soon, I restarted. Tried to uninstall LabVIEW thro' Control Panel Add/REMOVE programs but I got a warning message "this program is already uninstalled. ' When I clicked on DELETE button the National Instruments missing name immediately from the Add/REMOVE program list without having to open the UNINSTALL program. Then I manually deleteg 1.2 GB of LabVIEW files from my "c" drive program files Then I started to reinstall LabVIEW 8.6 but I get the error message that ends the installation. I tried retracting towards the former name of intellectual property and the system was not working and also tried the system restore is not working too.

  When I tried to open LabVIEW after initial reboot (i.e. restart after setting up my IP address) I got an error message saying "Unable to open LabVIEW, program completed/closed" error message similar to one when you complete a program thro' Task Manager and you get an od option send error report and do not send report. After that, I went to add/remove programs to uninstall LabVIEW, when I tried to delete I received a warning message "this French program has been uninstalled" and the LabVIEW icon has been removed from the Add/Remove list of immediately. Then I looked at my size in my c drive OR folder, here I have a 1.2 GB of files OR installed; so I manually deleted them (thinking that this would help prevent the crash/corrupt new files when reinstalling). So when I started to reinstall I got SDK Service error - error 12.

  It is a part of volume license

  It looks like my hard drive crashed, so changed to hard drive and reinstalled on the new drive, looks like it's working fine now.
