There is no way to reset the trial period. Once a trial expires, you need a serial number to install the software as a licensed version. Or, you can install the trial version on another computer.

  • Acrobat Pro DC - cannot use tools; wrong, says "subscription expired;" wants "serial number", but there is none

    I bought a subscription for Acrobat Pro DC. The payments are current and the plan is active.  When I try to edit a pdf file, I get an error message saying "your subscription has expired."  I hit the button in the Middle, 'enable '. Now he wants my "serial number".  It is a download software, so there is no box of product.  I log into my account, access plans and products, but nowhere it lists a serial number for the program.  I'm going to help in Acrobat Pro ms and choose 'On Acrobat Pro DC', but it does not list a serial number.  I watch the Bills for my monthly payments, but they do not enter a serial number.   I tried the Chat support, but "Nicky" gave me advice of gibberish and then disconnected me after 19 seconds of chat.  I tried phone support, but the polite man whose Indian accent is almost too thick to understand told me that he couldn't help me, when it became clear that it could not take on my machine remotely, due to the security settings of my company.

    Also, I can connect to my Adobe account in a browser (IE or Chrome), but when I select the "Sign In" button at the top right of the window Acrobat Pro DC, it connects, and so I can not sign the program.

    For some reason, the adobe Web site think my linux pc is a mac and sends me a .dmg file when I want to download software acrobat pro dc of the trial. I need for windows platform 7.

    The pc that I want to install has no internet connection, so I want to find the 'full' version, not the tiny installer it takes to download the product before it can start installing.

    I had a nightmare 48 hours period. My final goal is to take my four hours of edited video and burn it to a DVD through yet. That in itself is a chore, that I will not go. But train trying to get everything to do that I have installed and uninstalled Prem Pro CS6 several times and most recently ran the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner tool. On my last attempt to download CS6 creative cloud, download failed because he says the "file appears corrupt."  Ugh. He said to wait and try again. I waited an hour. Logged off and turn it back on for creative cloud. Looks like what he "remembered of ' me because it won't let me even try again.

    I have not changed my system clock, done anything with the exe file, etc. I need this software for emergency this week and is well advised to purchase the full version after 30 days, but I want to test drive it first. Can anyone offer any help? I tried the online chat with Adobe and they said that they do not cover the trial versions that is not very useful to me as a potential customer!

What auto updates arrive, my attempts to install are rejected; a pop-up message indicates that the content of the original software won't allow the update and reinstall is required.     Unfortunately there is no download of Acrobat 9 Pro for Mac to prodesigntools.com. Do not know if a trial version for Mac has been already made available.

    You will find that you will need to download the updates from the FTP (ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/) site and put it on a memory stick. Unfortunately, most of the updates is done in the order and cannot be ignored. You can usually install all updates and reboot then that at the end, but updates still need to be made separately. In fact, a backup HD could be useful for all the updates that can be enormous.

    Acrobat pro, opens with an error message saying: I need a new license. I bought the suite cs a few years ago. Do not know what version, but I am up to 9 pro.     I am trying to download Adobe Acrobat pro v 11.  The text says that I need the serial number (which I have), but when I click on install Acrobat XI pro there is no place for me to enter the serial number, and I'm not able to get beyond this stage.

    Click on Acrobat XI Pro Installer > select your mode of system(Windows/Mac) > click file 1 of 1. It will start the download when the download is complete, press Windows + J keys together on your keyboard to see the downloads, click AcrobatPro... exe and start the installation.
