  Please forgive me for asking this here, but I'm looking everywhere in the forum, and others that the post on all the drivers I could not find any what true troubleshooting forum, so I hope you'll forgive me if this is in the wrong place...

  I have a HP Proliant MicroServer N36L.  I upgraded the RAM 8 GB, and I have 4 X 2 to SATA drives installed, the RAID1 for two volumes of 2 TB of space.  I installed WIndows 7 Pro 64 bit.

  There is no software installed, except for the following: SugarSync customer, Air Video Server, Client TappIn and Panda Cloud Antivirus.  I keep all my photos, videos and documents on this server to facilitate access of any of my iOS devices while I'm abroad.  The video streaming server, by the way, works brilliantly, since everything is streaming is the Apple MP4 format that isn't too hard on resources...

  However, when I'm on the server and doing some of the most basic things with nothing else running (for example, copy and paste files, simply browse the contents of different folders, etc.), the server is incredibly slow.  It will just stop and after a LONG pause, resume.  Very frustrating.

  My first question - do I have installed Server 2008 R2 Standard?  I have a license for that as well.  I have no need for all of the security reporting, control, etc. otherwise than to simply share my photos and other whatnot.  So I thought that the installation of WIndows 7 Pro 64-bit would be a simpler choice.  Was it a mistake?  The installation was smooth and without a hitch, and the operating system had no trouble to install the proper drivers, etc. for the material.

  What is the best solution that will still allow these customers to run?  Should I see these "flaws"gel"with as much RAM?  It's the low power processor?

  Please forgive me for asking all these questions, but I really appreciate any insight or input I can get on this.

  Update, I answered my own question. After a long phone call with the HP Server support, it is clear that the architecture of the N36L is pointing to Server 2008 R2. Under their recommendation, I removed from Windows 7, and server load, and now this little spitfire is fast. Very effective and works very well. I could not be more please. Don't waste your time to install any other OS MS here other than Server 2008 R2, you will not lose your time. Thank you.

  You're welcome, @DFB2.

  The difference in both models, is that the 700-074 craving came with an installed 460W PSU.  That might be enough to run the GTX 950 correctly.  Even some of these PSU is not additional power adapters.  It depends on a lot of other components that are installed in the computer.  Video card manufacturers give room for all situations.  Normally, I would recommend buying a PSU that is at least 100W above the manufacturer stated minimum requirements.  I hope that explains the situation better.

  The video RAM is shared with the normal RAM (system memory). This means that you can get up to 224 MB of video memory to it of necessary, but if the graphics don't need of more memory, 128 MB are only.

  And, you can change or control by yourself. This is done automatically and it of really not necessary to change something.

• for Compaq v6000 laptop video card drivers

  I bought a laptop Compaq Presario V6310US used, with Vista installed.

  I installed Windows 7 Home Premium. All the drivers have been installed with the exception of the video card. The drivers are supposed to be 100 NF - Spp nForce 430 go. I tried to install the drivers on the Nvidia driver page, but they would not install. Anyone know where I could find the right drivers for the video DART? If not, is it possible to upgrade the video card? I would like to be able to do graphic editing, but right now I can't yet run the bubble screen saver.

  I know that most of that is not necessary, but I have tried two different ways and received the following error:

  You should be able to use any NVIDIA card VRAM on CS5 with1Gb if use you the Hack CUDA:

  Hello world!

  One here that never heard you before - I burned the OS on this Toshiba L300D-043 is really a PSLC8C 043019 of his bloody useless VISTA to XP and I managed to dig up enough drivers for everything except the video card in it.

  Now I show as an ATI Radeon 3100 series, at least that's what the windows 7 install says it is...
  So once the continuous hunt... anyone know what other series of laptops has the same video chipset and it will install happilly on this PC?

  I went to ATI and found the chipset and told by the site they don "t he provide for mobility series... Thanks ATI!

  Yet once again, I need the XP version of a video driver ATI, which runs on a Toshiba D300L-043 who formerly Vista and now runs XP Pro instead!

  I'm looking for a good quality video card that has a support CUDA times and supported a DisplayPort that supports a full pipeline of 10 bits per color display.  At present, the only one I can find less than $1,000 is the NVIDIA Quadro FX 3800 .  Anyone has any experience with it?   Best options for a reasonalble price?

  I recently bought a Proliant Microserver g7 n54l and installed a card RS232 and Windows 7 Professional. System works well for the access control software, I installed on it.
