Compatibility backward and ahead for accelerated by GPU video cards?

I have Adobe first Pro CS5, and I can't find the compatible list of GPU cards for this product. However, I know that Adobe ALL products get updated periodically. So, my question is this: will be a graphics card that works with Adobe first Pro CC work on Adobe first Pro CS5 and Vice Versa? Thank you! In addition, if someone knows which are the least expensive cards video for Mercury Playback Engine-accelerating GPU for desktop computers and laptops? I would like to know! Much obliged!

You should be able to use any NVIDIA card VRAM on CS5 with1Gb if use you the Hack CUDA:

Piracy of CS5 for cheaper acceleration - Adobe CS5: 64-bit, accelerated by CUDA and threaded Performance

Activate Nvidia Geforce, GPU Cuda, CS6, Adobe GPU Cuda, which is GPUVidMuze

    I have a HP p6653w desktop computer. Can I upgrade my video card and what is the best card to get to the games?

    mathenson,

    You can update the video, install any PCIEx16 card video and the new PSU (power supply).

    The general answer is based on the games you play. It is best to search for the site of the game, reading the recommended list 'graphics card '. Then add a little more.

    graphics card comparison site. http://www.hwcompare.com/6232/Radeon-HD-5670-vs-Radeon-HD-6950-2GB/

    Each graphics card is then looked up, noting the length of the card connectors (power cards) required recommended PSU.

    Example: XFX HD6950 2 GB:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150530

    (1) two PCIE 6pin power wires

    (2) card 10 "

    (3) min 500W PSU, if you add up.  Your 250W + card + fresh 200W generals = 600W

    630W PSU will fix the wiring and size http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182200

  • Satellite A210-19 b and a200-204 is the expandable video card?

    Hello there can someone help me I just intend to buy one of these laptop A200-204 and A210-19 b, now my question is, the video card being upgraded to example 8600gt and the processor, because in the future many games requires top video card and specifications, and when I buy do I have an option to replace the operating system to windows xp sp2 because it is better than vista.

    Well, unfortunately this is not possible.

    The graphics chip is soldered on the map and you will not be able to delete

    I recommend you research a little in this forum for similar issues.

    But you will always find the same answer; GPU upgrade is not possible.

  • Want to 750-124 HP: HP 750-124 power PCI for Geforce GTX 950 video card connection

    I oened my HP Envy 750-124 to add a videocard GeForce GTX 950 and 6 pin PCI power cord to power the card could not be found. There is a PCI Express slot present on the motherboard, but no way to connect the power supply Board. So what don't understand me?  Thank you.

    You're welcome, @DFB2.

    The difference in both models, is that the 700-074 craving came with an installed 460W PSU.  That might be enough to run the GTX 950 correctly.  Even some of these PSU is not additional power adapters.  It depends on a lot of other components that are installed in the computer.  Video card manufacturers give room for all situations.  Normally, I would recommend buying a PSU that is at least 100W above the manufacturer stated minimum requirements.  I hope that explains the situation better.

    Here are the Product Specifications for the power supply in the 700-074:

    Form factor: ATX internal
    Total wattage: 460W
    Nominal input voltage range:
    100-127V/3A (50-60 Hz)
    200-240 v/2A (50-60 Hz)
    Dimensions: 150 x 140 x 86 mm (5.9 x 5.5 x 3.4 inches)
    * This power supply has an LED to indicate a possible failure condition when the light is off and the power is connected.

  • NB200 - allocated for the 128 MB video card only

    Hello!
    in the specifications, we can allocate 224 MB of memory for the video card, but in windows, we can assign only 128 MB.

    Someone at - it a solution?

    Hello

    The video RAM is shared with the normal RAM (system memory). This means that you can get up to 224 MB of video memory to it of necessary, but if the graphics don't need of more memory, 128 MB are only.

    And, you can change or control by yourself. This is done automatically and it of really not necessary to change something.

  • How and where can need to update video card, so that will support WDDM - I get updates?

    I have windows Vista Premium - I don't know if it's a 32-bit or 64-bit. I need to upgrade the video card or update the driver; maybe both. Where should I go to access the update so that I can fully enjoy Microsoft Media Center.

    You need to update the video card driver (if an update exists) from the web site of the manufacturer of the video card (support and/or driver download section of their web page.)

    First of all understand what architecture of Windows Vista you are using: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/32-bit-and-64-bit-Windows-frequently-asked-questions

    Second figure on what video card, you have to download, install and run the Belarc Advisor free tool and view in his section of the display.  There are several other ways - but I think the more information you can get right now - the better.  I would like to print the results and store your documentation system, system software and backups in a safe place

    Third - visit the manufacturer's Web site for drivers for the make and model of video card you have.

  • I have a HP p6813w, and I want to update my video card. Any suggestions?

    Will not install the card, because I'm a total computer illiterate. But I need some advice on what card to purchase. I have the HP p6813w and am on a Windows 7 64-bit system. The vehicle currently has an ATI Raedon HD 4200. But I play Sims 3 (yes I know it's a girly game, but I'm a girl) and this card is not supported. The HD 5670, 5700, 5800 are; as are many Nvidia cards - mainly the GTX series.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    I looked online and was originally going to just buy one at Best Buy, but others are a lot (as in 1/3 price) cheaper. And I'm not all that impressed with the Geek Squad.

    In any case, thank you in advance for your advice.

    BTW, in case it is important, I just buy more RAM to my computer - so I currently have 14 GB. In case it makes a difference. Again, thank you.

    koffimartine1975,

    I got your PM on a new video card.  The last time I checked, the ATI Radeon HD 6850 is a great buy at $130 after rebate.  The NVIDIA GTX 550 it is also a good buy at $120 after rebate.  The Corsair CX500 is a supply of quality at the price of $40 after rebate.

    You can review the comparison between the two cards video here.  The HD 6850 is faster, costs $ 10 more and supports ATI EyeFinity to multiple monitors.

    These "how-to" HP articles should be useful if you decide to install the device yourself.  Adjacet slot on the PCI-E x 16 slot must be vacant.  Review of the the motherboard specifications.

    One of the issues I see with the SIMS 3 is that it is only a 32-bit program that won't get the best out of all the memory of your PC.  Windows 7 64 bit does a very good job in the management of memory for 32-bit programs, but the address space of 4 GB (limitation of 32-bit) for the SIMS 3 can be a limiting factor in performance.

  • Wiring and test of the Blackbird 002 video card fan

    I have a Blackbird 002 I bought directly from J & R.  Intel processor (i5 or i7), Vista 64-bit, dual NVIDIA 9800 GT cards.

    It is a great machine for a few years, but after several sessions with torches recent I recently that I booted up and it entered into VGA mode with an error «could not load graphic drivers» Windows

    I tried a clean install of NVIDIA driver but the same result on reboot; Mode VGA and no NVIDIA display options.

    I think one of the 9800 GT cards is dead.  So I opened the case and noticed the top, main card has been connected to both the power supply and a smaller type of connection, 2 white square pins.  I deleted the SLI connector and the power of these two cards, one of them removed from their slots and put the card back in top housing of the SLI.  I started upward and the machine starts normally - no error only VGA, NVIDIA Control Panel with no SLI option (as expected b/c that the 'bad' card remained uninstalled).

    Unfortunately with the single card installed the fan runs constantly and the card works extremely hot.  This happens without any games or from any application - simply slowed down, the fans run constantly and loudly.

    So I have two questions:

    (1) how determine if one of the fans in the case does not work properly?  I think this may have caused the first card to die and can be the cause of the card to run hot.  Looking for a way to review all case fans, check each working properly and troubleshoot as needed.

    (2) what is the additional connector to the first graphics card - connector 2 pin white square, and how to disconnect?  I have been unable to pull the connector of the card first, so it remains plugged in despite the fact that the card remains out of the slot.  I see a connection open white, small square on the map left, but I am unable to disconnect the dead card.  I think that it may also have something to do with the remaining card run hot, because it can be a power supply fan, that I am not aware.

    I simply into a new map (thinking that the GeForce GTX 570) but I'm afraid that she also only will burn quickly if a case fan is dead or if the connection of the second, smaller remains plugged into dead cards.

    Any feedback is very appreciated.

    two drivers of white pine is for sound hdmi so it is not necessary to be connected and can only be removed the pins on the map. 9800 gt cards run hot and the fan is cheesy on them. eVga precision tool allows you to monitor the time of the video card and adjust the fan speed. It is unlikely that one of the three fans died, but it's pretty easy to check the two top fans of the page and see if they are rotating. the third fan is left of the hard drives, so you'll have to see if this one works by removing some of the hard drive platters and watch. It feeds of cold air in the compartment of vga. You can also check the fan speed in the bios. I'd be surprised if you have a bad case fan. Here are the specs for the fans of the plant:

  • Change the settings for the virtual computer video card

    After upgrade of several virtual machines to the latest version of material, some of our virtual machines experienced a problem where the 3D has been activated and automatic detection has been updated with the manual. Some side effects have been experienced. I am now seeking to create a workflow to disable 3D and set to automatic detection for our servers. I found the properties "enable3DSupport" and "useAutoDetect" under VirtualDeviceConfigSpec.VirtualDevice.VirtualMachineVideoCard.

    I had planned this script in action and create a workflow to move a virtual machine as the user selects.

    I fired up Onyx and pulled the following information:

    // ------- ReconfigVM_Task -------

    var spec = new VcVirtualMachineConfigSpec();
    spec.changeVersion = "2013-02-21T16:34:32.130873Z";
    spec.deviceChange = System.getModule("com.vmware.onyx").array(VcVirtualDeviceConfigSpec, 1);
    spec.deviceChange[0] = new VcVirtualDeviceConfigSpec();
    spec.deviceChange[0].operation = VcVirtualDeviceConfigSpecOperation.edit;
    spec.deviceChange[0].device = new VcVirtualMachineVideoCard();
    spec.deviceChange[0].device.key = 500;
    spec.deviceChange[0].device.deviceInfo = new VcDescription();
    spec.deviceChange[0].device.deviceInfo.label = "Video card ";
    spec.deviceChange[0].device.deviceInfo.summary = "Video card";
    spec.deviceChange[0].device.controllerKey = 100;
    spec.deviceChange[0].device.unitNumber = 0;
    spec.deviceChange[0].device.videoRamSizeInKB = 8192;
    spec.deviceChange[0].device.numDisplays = 1;
    spec.deviceChange[0].device.useAutoDetect = true;
    spec.deviceChange[0].device.enable3DSupport = false;

    managedObject.reconfigVM_Task(spec);  // VirtualMachine

    I know that most of that is not necessary, but I have tried two different ways and received the following error:

    Cannot convert com.vmware.vim.vi4.VirtualDeviceConfigSpec@1 in [com.vmware.vim.vi4.VirtualDeviceConfigSpec] (name of the dynamic Script Module: changeVideoCard3DEnable #9)

    Can someone provide some guidance? It seems that most actions and workflows in vCO seek information in the environment rather than change things.

    Thank you

    -Zach

    Morning,

    untested but try this way:

    spec var = new VcVirtualMachineConfigSpec();

    var myDeviceChange = new Array();

    var myVirtualMachineVideoCard = new VcVirtualMachineVideoCard();

    Context of var = new VcVirtualDeviceConfigSpec();

    myVirtualMachineVideoCard.useAutoDetect = true;

    myVirtualMachineVideoCard.enable3DSupport = false;

    configSpec.operation = VcVirtualDeviceConfigSpecOperation.edit;

    configSpec.device = myVirtualMachineVideoCard;

    myDeviceChange.push (configSpec);

    spec.deviceChange = myDeviceChange;

    vm.reconfigVM_Task (spec);

    But it's untetested.

  • Solutions of games/Workhorse GPU for AE, 3D and other processes accelerated by GPU element?

    Currently, my PC is customized with Windows 7 Professional and sports a Phenom II x 6 16 GB of DDR3 Ram and a GeForce 470 GPU, PSU. I used to about 7200 RPM disk drives, as well. Mainly, I use it as a staff, games AND work computer, but now I have a job and macbook pro staff, and now with Adobe CC and GPU acceleration I hope to tune more finely to be a rendering engine. I would like to also keep my ability to play the games of the most recent and - running on Ultra isn't a necessity, but it would be nice to have the ability to push my system to the same graphics.

    I own almost all the plugins video CoPilot, and 3-d element and optical flares use GPU acceleration. I also use Premiere Pro to a lot of editing and I love makes it fast, and I hope to someday add Cinema 4 d or 3DS Max to my software. I want a GPU that can give me a few makes incredibly fast while allowing me to play at a decent rate. My budget is probably around $1000 for a complete overhaul, but I could see myself growing a little more high if she was worth.

    I look at the cards GeForce GTX 750 series (probably the 760 or 770) for graphics, but I'm torn between making the jump to a Quadro 4000. I don't think that the 5000 is in my price range, and I don't know that the 4000 would be perfect for my needs. My main question is essentially... What kind of differences is what I see in the 3-d element and other features of After Effects between these two cards? Therefore, can what kind of differences I expect to see everything by using programs like 3DS Max or Cinema 4 d? Finally, what first seems to me?

    I know AE mainly use multicore, so I'm looking to the quad-core i7 4950 my processor. I was AMD, but after seeing it in action on many products of Adobe through my MacBook, I'm starting to think it might be worth the extra money to get an Intel processor. Therefore, as the 3D rendering is not my main goal, I'd like something that can give me a pleasant experience using plugins that are WHAT GPU accelerated - mainly plugins Red Giant and VCP - allowing me to play games.

    If this proves to be a choice between play and work, I guess an alternative solution could be put my old parts in a second case and have a gaming pc, then a working pc. That's fine with me.

    Thank you for any input!

    Katie

    After Effects will be no acceleration of a GPU. Learn more: features GPU (CUDA, OpenGL) in After Effects

    3-d element could be able to handle larger and more complex models with a more powerful card, but I doubt that the Quadro difference would be a price difference.

    C4D uses very little GPU.

    Spend more on a processor more in addition to RAM would make you better than a GPU. If you build a computer for After Effects and first, I strongly recommend to Watch this presentation.
