If you are having problems with him, you try to install Windows Live Mail, which uses Bing Maps.

  • Smartphones blackBerry RE Newbie question: address book/Sim Card

I have a BB 8820 Smartphone & my carrier is AT & T. I previously had an LG view & upgraded yesterday to my BB (which I LOVE BTW!) I copied my contacts from my SIM card and managed to transfer all my existing addresses to the new BB. However, for some reason-all addresses see contact phone numbers in the field 'Work' rather than 'Mobile' or 'Home' "They were not show them that way on reading my previous phone screen - so my question is that I have to go in every & each entry address to re - enter the number in the 'Mobile' field & then disable it ' work ' field in order so that it appears as"Sue Mobile"or even just"Sue"when she calls instead of display"Work of Sue"there are entires that are numbers of work , but the majority are not & it gets confusing... make sense? Laughing out loud

Not to be confused... Yes you have to it manually.

And you need to transfer all the numbers from your SIM card to your BlackBerry address book, too.

Then, you can synchronize the BlackBerry to Outlook or Outlook Express and do the editing there. Much easier.

  • Why I keep losing internet connection?

For a long time, I keep losing the internet connection.

    I lose the connection when:

    • I move to a different location around the House
    • Another computer is turned on
    • I just returned from a sleep mode

Why is this? Because of the router?

    Help, please! Thanks in advance!

    Hello

Your router could be suspicious here, you have successfully updated its firmware as a possible solution? And
I would update your WiFi drivers on computers. How you are positioned in the router?
Are there obstacles in the path?

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver-
Note the version - click on update driver (can't do anything as MS is far behind certifying)
drivers). Then right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver
    stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.

After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version.
(Those become your fonts of rescue system manufacturer).

Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other updated drivers Vista
    love the updated drivers.

I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If Windows Update suggests a just HIDE
because they are almost always old, and you can search drivers manually as needed.

Did you recently do disk cleanup?

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/76073-disk-cleanup.html

The tutorial is really made up of 2 parts:

From #1 to #11 on "ordinary" disk cleanup This will give you in disk space.
#12 at the end is on more Options. It is mainly to erase all of your points except the most recent restoration. This will give bring you a ton of disk space. There is a downside to this. You have more 'old' restore p [stated to fall back until several restore points are created. So make sure that your computer works correctly before you use more Options.

Another suggestion would be to install CCleaner.
It's a free program and it will help you to remove unnecessary files and recover disk space.
    I use it regularly.
Attention, do not touch the registry option.

  • Keep losing the connection Wi - Fi Windows 7

I keep losing my connection Wireless on my Dell Studio XPS 1647 running windows 7 Home premium.  I have a router netgear dual band Dell laptop, xbox 360 in my house and my other computer and panasonic tv all run on the network without any problems.  My wireless card is an intel centrino advanced-n 6200 and my card was replaced, reinstalled by Dell and updated, because they thought it was the problem.  I also turned off the power to the wireless card management to make sure that wasn't the problem.  My internet runs fine for about 10 minutes or less then slow down or completely the loss of connections.  I am at a total loss about what to do next, and would appreciate any help!

Your TV service and the phone can function properly and at the same time, your Internet connection may be down.  I always check the box attached over the outside to see if the Internet light is on when this happens.  Usually he is gone because of something done Comcast.  You didn't say which is your Internet access provider, but you can check with them.

When I call Comcast they me jump through a bunch of hoops to a canned script, that they have, which most is useless, but they said that is what to tell people.  :-(  In my case, I found that unplugging the power cord from the Comcast box for a minute or two, then reconnecting usually solves the problem without having to turn off and restart.  Usually if I simply ignore it for a period of time (usually less than one hour) it will recover on its own.  YMMV

I hope this helps.  Good luck.

Yes, the Atheros card is your wireless card.

Try the latest driver for it and see if that helps.

Just download it and run it. The installation should be automatic.

  • Which of the many Adobe products best fits my idea of greeting card?

Hi all and I apologize in advance if this seems to be a really naïve question, but I'm a complete noob. I have a small online store that sells continental antiques and what I wanted to do was to reproduce and sell old vows or vintage cards. My problem is that I like cards in foreign languages and being old maps are a bit shabby around the edges.

I am looking for a kind of desktop Publishing adobe software that would allow me to a) resize maps, b) slightly change the colors of the cards and c) reprint real greetings in a foreign language, in English, but in the same fonts and finally, c) that would allow me to reset the slightly torn edges and clean foxed in those white lines.

Adode do so many things and some software costs hundreds and hundreds. As a small merchant, I want something good enough to perform the tasks above, without the unnecessary fancy stuff.

Also, can anyone recomment a suitable canon or epson printer that makes the fantastic details and brightly for up to 300 g/m² greeting cards, without costing the Earth

If you guys could give me the benefit of your experience, I would be extremely grateful. Unfortunately, there is a huge amount of deskstop edition of the "stuff" out there, but I'm at a total loss as to how to work what is good for me.

    Huge thanks in advance :-)

From your description, I understand that the main part has to do with the restoration of the greeting cards. This means that you first need an image editing program. The program should also be able to work with text.

To not make it easier for you: there are many programs that can it needs. You can set with Adobe Elements (in this case, Photoshop CS6 or CC is an overdose) but there are also programs such as The Gimp, which is free to use.

I guess others here on the forum can come up with more appropriate solutions.

The main point is that perhaps you should not opt for an expensive package but rather invest time learning how to use the software for your publishing goals.
