Handset wireless and ADSL connections__

I have a toshiba satellite L500 with vista. I am currently set up with a Wi - Fi connection. Is it possible to also create a method NB5 ADSL - modem, 2 router so I can use it when I'm on my landline friends. Wireless modem must stay home for my wifes computor. Would this effect the wireless connection. If it is possible how to do. Thank you.

If your friend has DSL service in her house, it may be possible, but if your friend already has DSL service, he already has a DSL modem.  I don't think not linking two modems on the same DSL line will work (but I don't know that for sure).  Just bring a small hub and connect to the modem.  Which may or may not work, either, depending on the configuration of the service.  If the modem is configured to authenticate to the DSL provider, so you will not have a problem to connect to a hub, but if his DSL service is configured so that the PC itself execute authentication within the purpose of network connection on the PC, then you're out of luck.

  • WIRELESS and wired LAN do not know each other

My internet provider installed a new cable modem, without capacity WIFI because I have an airport extreme base WIFI (with cable Express extensions).  Speed and quality are OK, wireless and wired, but there seems to be a wall of China between WIFI and wired (LAN): devices that are connected via a cable to my LAN are not visible from the wireless network and vice versa.  Airport extreme is not 'Bridge' mode ("because not of wireless on the new modem capability".)

No idea of the reasons for this?  Thank you very much

Sounds like the configuration of the device. With the airport devices it can operate as a device on the network or another firewall as its own network. I think that it is way jumpered to activate, this will allow you to configure the wireless on the airport, but your current router will do the DNS/DHCP and will be a single network.

Now that you have configured as two routers on an independent network as there is no bridge.

  • Hub BT 1800 HG wireless and card PC Laptop/1060

    Hello

I have a portable S2410-304 Toshiba without a Wireless LAN mini. I connected the laptop to the BT Wireless Hub via the Ethernet connection without no problems whatsover, and the broadband connection is great. However, I tried to get the BT Voyager 1060 portable Wireless PC Card to work with no joy either.

The laptop has Windows XP SP2 and wireless broadband is via the supplied software, rather than through Windows XP. The laptop recognizes the card in the PCI slot, but for some reason any does not have a signal coming through the router.

I have another laptop and I have the Ethernet connection and wireless LAN works without any problem. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software, swapped the PCI slots and (as I have two cards) even tried the other card (and they both work in my notebook to another). I contacted BT and they told me to try uninstalling Norton and make sure that the Windows Firewall has been turned off and re - install. Still no joy.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why the router and the map don't communicate wireless, and yet they're fine an Ethernet cable?

    Thank you

    Steve

    [Edited by: admin]

    Hi Lim

If the card is recognized and installed properly there must be a problem with BT card settings and configuration of the card. The only thing I can recommend is to check all the settings, especially in the Center BT wireless.

My AirPort Extreme 5th generation disconnects wireless and Internet. I am running Windows 10 and a new Motorola Docsis 3.0 modem. I have reset the airport twice, connectivity restore factory settings twice, only to find out later that the airport has disconnected once more.

If possible, try the 5 GHz band to see if there was some other interference. Reset the modem also. If after all these procedures, it does not work, hardware problems may be to blame

    Hello:

You must download and install the Ricoh 5-in-1 card reader driver support for your laptop and driver page.

Go to Device Manager and expand network adapters.

Is the model of your wireless poster card he or she has completely disappeared from the Device Manager, does not come under the section of the network cards, or in the General list of devices such as a network controller?

If she disappeared from the view, 99% chance the connection from the motherboard to the card slot plugs into is fried.

This is a very common problem with the dv6000/dv9000 models.

  • HP Photosmart D110 - wireless and wired to installation - at the same time

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THAT NO MATTER HOW MUCH DETAIL I SAY QUESTIONS. IF ALL OF THE OTHER INFO. IS NEDDED IT PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Hello community I am undergoing, step by step, how can I set up my printer to a network via Wired and therefore any other device connected to that network can print from it.

I used to have my printer connected via connected to my main PC, but it soon came the need to print from other places in my house and I remembered that my printer has this great ability, so I wanted to know how, step by step. I tried to put in place by myself, but I couldn't, I myself helped with the HP Solutions and Guides, and somehow, I missed something.

    Details:

OS main PC: Windows XP 32-bit (it has the latest updates)
    Printer: HP Photosmart D110 one
    Router: Time Capsule from Apple

I uninstalled the printer from my computer, so don't be any errors.

Here's the deal, I want to connect my printer to my main PC via Wired (cable), once correctly installed, I want to connect this printer on my wireless (Network Time Capsule), so any other device connected to the network can print from it.

If someone can take the time to tell me how to do, step by step, with links from HP information. etc if necessary.

I already know how to set up a static for my printer IP address and all the stuff in IT, so don't worry, everything you say me that I understand it, all I need to know is what to do exactly, but the case is when (step by step).

    Thanks in advance.

Hello, I noticed that you said 'Network via Wired' and then he said "wireless. I will be happy to help you. Just to let you know, you can't be WIRELESS and NETWORK CABLE (Ethernet). You can be wireless and plug the main PC into the USB cable. So, here are the steps to download the drivers and the connection to your PC (USB) PRINCIPAL and others (wireless).

Connection to MAIN PC wired (USB)
    1. connect the USB cable from the printer directly to the main computer.
2 download the drivers from the Web site (http://goo.gl/BVOOg), or if you have the CD.

Note: whenever you download the software and drivers on the site. Be sure to choose the SOFTWARE from FEATURE COMPLETE.
    1. Select software and drivers
    2. type in the name of the product (click Search)
    3. choose the operating system (click Next)
    4. choose Download (scroll to the bottom for the SOFTWARE of FEATURE COMPLETE)
    5. After downloading the software, it will PULL
    6. it will give you an option on how you want that it connected
    7. you choose USB to the PC of the hand

    WIRELESS NETWORK connection
    1. go into your printer settings
    2. Choose Network
    3. Select wireless CONFIGURATION WIZARD
    4. it will search your router (if wireless). Choose your router and configure the printer wireless upward.
    5. go to other computers and follow the steps above to download the drivers.
    6. when it comes to SELECT connection, choose (without wireless/network)

In this way, you can print from your main PC via USB (wired) and the other wireless computers.

If your ROUTER is not wireless, and you can only use a wired (Ethernet) network, then you can print only by plugging the cable ETHERNET router to any PC of your choice print from the moment. Also to plug another cable from the router to the printer.

I hope this helps, if you need more help please ask, thank you.

  • HP 550 wireless and Bluetooth problem on win 7

    Hello

I had a problem with the wireless and bluetooth connection, since I upgraded to windows 7 x 64

The problem with the wireless, it's that I can't find not all devices wireless in range (even if I have a wireless router at 2 meters far from providing internet to a laptop computer and two mobile phones)

I tried the drivers on the HP site, but I only need to support vista x 86 drivers.

I also tried the drivers from a previous post on this Board link here (the broadcom wireless drivers) and even if they normally show on Device Manager window, always get a "turn wireless capability on" when I solve the problem. And Yes, the light on the wireless button is in blue (not yellow)

The other thing with bluetooth is that I get some unknown bluetooth devices on the window of device as in this photo manager.

I have no idea what to do now so please help.

  • HP Pro Plus 6800: error 0 x, 00000057 wireless and wireless Direct properties of the Windows Control Panel printer - print a Test Page

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite of Win7 64 bit and a HP 8600 Pro Plus,
update firmware and drivers about 2 weeks for the 8600 was a
a long time I have been updated, which is connected wireless has decided to
Direct to print Wireless Setup once the program installation, I tried to do a windows
Print the Test Page in the printer property Panel, somewhat normal for
    set up a printer

Under the connection of the conciergerie, I got the error message 0 x 00000057
Under wireless direct printing, I got the same error 0 x 00000057

After spending the time to check the settings, connections and asking
Why? I decided to see that if I could print the docs, I print a PDF file,
Notepad and Word documents in each application under the two
    configurations without problem.

Under the wireless connection, I started the Web Services module
and was able to make the impression within the Web Services Test page
module without problem could not yet do the printing Test Page
    in the printer properties panel.

I ran Print and Scan doctor who, to my surprise mentioned
a conflict of Driver, I welcomed this program to uninstall the driver,
went looking upward for the driver and the same driver was so done
No download but to remove the driver and reinstalled the driver.
    Always error message here.

I'm now tempted to delete a direct print wireless and see
What happens if the error disappears, if she does not unstall all
associated with the printer and do a clean reinstall. In case of emergency
is there an alternative to the use of the Web Service module to the setting
When not connected to the wireless network?

I think that the Panel of the printer would do this (I'll watch this later

spend enough time on it), or do I need to run Web Services to

direct wireless installation, just think about this, otherwise I'll shoot

a usb cable.  Maybe if I install Direct wireless on the printer control panel

the message will disappear as the installation of the printer program, not software

    on the laptop?

It is a minor problem since I can still print but question why!

See other issues about this error message I thought

spend my experience with this error.

Always had a number of things to think and try, once again.

If your getting this error message I would suggest trying a test page printed

within the module of Web Service to see if the message developed.

Could not back the driver so I removed the printer driver

    by deleting.

    19/07/2011 Date print driver
    Print driver version 26.0.0.0

and removed software in Add and Remove software Hp also had to turn

disable the wireless module directly on the printer to reinstall from the CD.

Reinstalled printer/software form the CD supplied with the printer, the

    Driver date is 08/12/2009 Ver.9.0.0

    No more error in configuration.

is the answer to the error message 0 x 00000057 or 0x00000xx

associated with the driver? Or just the 0 x 00000057?

Could not find a list of drivers between the driver and

    the driver on the CD.

Will not update the driver for a good while or until I have too.

The dates on the drivers are only about two years apart, the

The version numbers are an issue questable.
