Hang up during, connect and internet problems on laptop HP15-g019wm

My portable computer product number HP15-g019wm F9H60UA #ABA has been suspended on the black welcome screen after logging about two minutes before opening on the desktop. My mozilla firefox is slow to open and does not connect to any websites other than the home page. It is upgraded to the latest version, when I first tried to open it and then it opens slowly. Google chrome opens quickly but then freezes when I try to go to another site. My computer is running windows 64 bit system 8.1. Anyone know what could be causing the issues off the phone and internet on my laptop? I was able to connect and browse the internet very well last night, and these problems just started to happen this afternoon. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

He seems to have been a problem during an update, as everything ran as usual on Sunday and continues to do so.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded: run DriverView - set the VIEW to hide
Microsoft drivers - update those without drain in their names. (Also update BIOS and)
    low level chipset drivers.)

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on
Driver update (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right
Click on - uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Do you know which version of Internet Explorer you have and when did it start?

In addition, you have all other Internet browsers? If you do, try those instead of Internet Explorer.

And how did you post this question? Have you used another computer?

I would also start Internet Explorer Mode Add on no. 1. Open Menu start 2. All 3 programs. Accessories 4. System 5 tools. Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

Disable modules through the Add-ons Manager by pressing ALT then Tools and finally to manage add-ons. Disable each add-on.

  • iPod connection and synchronization problems classic160GB

I have a well taken in charge iPod classic 160GB. Worked perfectly until...

Since the upgrade to the latest OS (iMac), I've been prone to random error when updating of my music. Essentially (1) the device is still connected and there is no apparent way to perform a good ejection process (2) and synchronization fails after many hours and don't care only about 100 songs.

Thus, it seems that the iPod is ok mechanically. I have reset the device and formatted the HARD drive. This allowed then the synchronization process works correctly. Yesterday I downloaded the songs on the iTunes store and wanted on the iPod - same problems error has occurred.

Would it not make sense to go back to an earlier version of the operating system? and iTunes? (same iTunes appears unstable now...)

I see that this timing issue is quite common with this unit holders and it seems to be common, because support was arrested for this camera - I'd be cynical? Why isn't Apple in the face of what it comes to very bad reputation management - total contempt for Affairs of its user base?

I always use what is apparently a good piece of hardware, but I'm extremely frustrated as a user. Any body found the corrective action? If so, what is it?

LAST: I left Apple and bought a Sony HD camera. Why? as a result of these frustrations. I'm now evaluate whether to consider other Apple devices that are close to replacement (viz, Ipad, MacBook Pro (17 "), iMAc) with non-Apple devices. This is how frustrated and I'm in a bad mood.

Please, if you know a solution, I am very willing to try that.

Problems with synchronization is often caused by a hard drive which becomes unreliable.  Hard drives are mechanical and ends by fail, computers and iPods.  I have much older iPods (4th gen, 3rd generation and iPod mini) that are more than 10 years at this point.  They still work perfectly fine with the latest version of OS X and iTunes.  I replaced the fragile hard drives in three of these iPods with Compact Flash card or an SD card on an adapter.  For the 5th generation and later iPods, you can look here for more information

    https://www.iFlash.xyz/

I see that this synchronization problem is quite common with this unit-holders...

It's not just 'common good' considering there are millions of iPods (with storage on hard disk) still serving there.  However, if you see more cases of these days, the reason is obvious.  They age, on average.  The iPod classic model was released back in 2007.  Old things tend to start fault for various reasons, including defective hard drive.

  • Wi-wired connections and on the same laptop

I have a laptop with Windows 7, a Netgear router and DSL internet access. The laptop has two wired network and wireless cards. I have both wireless and wired connections and connected and activated with the Netgear router. There is another laptop computer on my network, here at home, it works under Windows 7 and only uses the connection to my router wireless. When my laptop starts and connects to the router selects the wireless connection, at least that's what appears on the taskbar. Are there advantages or disadvantages with both wired and connections active wireless on my laptop at the same time? Wouldn't be better to have either one or the other active connection?

    Hello Don,

Thanks for posting your question on the Forum of the Microsoft community.

It is always very well if you have both wired and wireless connections. Windows automatically uses the one with the highest speed.

When more than one network connection is available, Windows uses the one with the lowest metric value.  By default, it automatically assigns a metric value based on the rated speed of the network connection.

    Reference:
An explanation of the Automatic metric for Internet Protocol routes feature
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/299540

If you want Windows to use a specific network connection, you can assign a metric value for each of them, giving the lowest value to the desired connection. Use the following steps:

    a. press Windows + R and type buttons ncpa.cpl in the run, and then open network connections window.

    b. right click on the desired connection.

    c. click Properties, and then select Internet Protocol Version 4.

    d. click Properties and then click Advanced.

    e. uncheck "Automatic metric.

    f. enter a number between 1 and 9999 for the 'metric of the Interface.

    I hope this information helps.

Please let us know if you need more help.

  • Internet connection and Audio problems

My HP Pavilion Dv7-4009tx Entertainment Notebook PC works perfectly since it was resolved a month ago, he got a new DVD player and has been reset back to the factory setting. It was smooth sailing for a month and then stupidly a problem. I turned on one morning to find he is slow to start and then when he did finally start a note came saying 'failed to connect to A Windows Service' after a quick search on the net I found a solution for this and solved this problem but it has not solved the other two problems I have now.

It is one of the question that I have now, it's funny because my laptop only use the build in speakers. Then I thought maybe because I could find something to fix, but so far nothing has worked.

And the other problem, my Internet connection is non-existent and even after checking on the net he had anything that actually worked.

Is there really a possible solution to these problems? I can also provide more screen shots if needed, just tell me.

Note: Ignore the isn't the battery icon, I currently do not have a battery that works.

Wow, your system is really messed up.

OK... what I would do is a "reimage" of your system. In other words, reinstall the operating system. Backup your important files on an external device.

You should be able to perform what is called an "Image system recovery" as mentioned here. Restart the computer and press F8 a bunch of times until a menu will appear (the Advanced Boot Options menu) and select repair your computer. The rest is on this page that I linked. Click "View all" at the bottom of the page linked to learn more.

Your system must have a HP recovery partition has set up to do this, you can at least go back to square one and have a fresh start.

  • Airport Extreme 7,7,7 drop connection and internet high speed

My Airport Extreme (6th generation) have had the serious problems of the internet, as said in the title I had problems with my internet connection, I checked if that was the problem of the modem to the beginning (D3.0 Ubee) which was provided by my Internet, Charter provider.

I've had Airport Extreme for almost a year to 2 years now and since then, I had no problem with my internet until 7.7.7 update came.

I updated my firmware and this is where my random internet connection problem started.

My current contract with the Charter are their 60 Mbps (download speed) and 4 Mbps (download speed), during the first days since I've updated 7.7.7 connections was fine and then my internet has started to decline since a means 50-60 Mbps (download speed) to 0.1 - 2 mb/s (download speed), my download speed has remained a constant 3-4 MB/s (download speed). I have tried and used Opendns several times, he really did nothing.

I tried to turn off both modem and Airport extreme for a couple of minutes and turn on their return, but he does nothing and just refers to an extremely slow speed.

The only way I found to fix my problem to get my internet to 0.1 - 2 mb/s (download speed) back to its original state, I find myself to be a restore return settings on the Airport Extreme with my Airport utility by default whenever the problem returns (which contributes to a certain degree as it gets my back up to 50 internet-60 MB/s) then he drops down again).

I wanted to restore to 7.7.6 or the latest version of previous firmware before 7.7.7 (not too sure what version of firmware, it was) but I can't find how to spend my Airport extreme to my Airport utility.

My question is what could I do to fix this problem if the decommissioning of my extreme (I need instructions with this too), change some settings, get rid of the * thing and get a new router, or am I stuck resetting to the parameter by default whenever she acts upward.

I use windows 10 for my laptop

    Thank you for your time

Unfortunately, the first question that you encountered is the AirPort for Windows utility has not been updated since Windows 7. In addition, it is not supported for use with the 802.11ac latest versions of airport base stations. Then downgrade to earlier versions of the firmware for base station can be difficult, unless you can get hold of a Mac or iOS device.

If you are ready to test Windows 10, here are the steps to do:

    • Open the AirPort for Windows utility.
    • Select the base and then station in the utility menu bar, select the access point > Download Firmware...
    • Click on the Download Version dialog box, where the current version of the firmware is listed.
    • You should now see a list of the firmware versions that are available.
    • Click on the one you want to get off at.
    • Choose either 'continue' to continue with the downgrade, OR click 'Cancel' If you decide not to do so.
    • If you choose to continue, allow the firmware to be downloaded, installed and the base station to turn.

My Dell has had some problems (patially due to age), so a buddy of mine and I put a new hard drive in it and then installed windows XP Pro.  Installation went great, but now that it's installed, I can not get the screen resoultion to change and I can't connect to the internet.  I feel like with the internet, can I have a driver problem.  I know that the internet works, I'm on it with the laptop right now.  Any suggestions?

????  I'm not sure I understand your question. You download the drivers to a place, you will find them, as the office. If you want to put them on a USB stick, copy the files downloaded to the key and take it to the computer target. Copy the files on the computer desktop. Double-click on a file and it will unpack the installation routine starts. Follow the installation wizard. Reset when said to repeat as needed until all the drivers, etc are installed. Subsequently, you can delete the downloaded files from Dell (from installation .exe). MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Programs of the development of the application during flight and causing problems; How to disable?

Currently, I am having a problem where on Win 7 where other applications will steal focus away from what I do, no matter whatever it is, I do. This can range from the annoying popup on demand to restart my work station. The latter has become an obstacle to the point that some people in my office, including me, are considering filing for damages. The reason is that some applications will ask to reboot to apply updates when I type an e-mail, finishing a piece for marketing, or generally doing limited work. If I happen to hit most of any key during this time, it will automatically select the 'Yes' or 'Restart now', which led to the lost emails, went work because it has not been saved, or even calls dropped at a meeting. Where the logic behind the deposit for damages.

However, I wanted to ask if there is a way to prevent applications from stealing the focus and the opportunity to respond to the entry they should not receive? Prior to Windows 7, I know that there was a way to RegEdit values to prevent them from happening, but they have strangely removed from Win 7, which brings me to my question here. Y at - it another way to stop the apps coming to the fore and interrupt our work, or is it just a flaw in the system that has no solution?

  • Satellite P100-277 - recovery connection and WLAN problem

Hi, I have a Satellite P100-227 and of the format and reinstall windows. First of all, the Toshiba Recovery disk wouldn't work - it would go through the motions, but windows would freeze on the screen where it is intended to calibrate your screen before entering the windows installation. It is the SECOND disc I bought at Toshiba who broke by the way! I'm worried about my CD before ask you, I used this disc once before to shape about a year ago and it has not been touched for. I tried both discs and no work - the other oldest won't read even since the drivers of compression at the beginning of the recovery.

So I'm an old XP disc (I run XP btw) and decided to try to install windows this way to check that my laptop was working, which is - I installed XP very well to a good Windows disc and a code is legitimate. However, I have now no drivers for my laptop and the internet does not work - my wireless will not connect at all, let alone register that there is a wireless connection (he used to appear in the lower right, once it was turned on). "When I go to Device Manager and look for network adapters, all there is ' 1394 Net adapter" is said works very well.

I wonder if there is no drivers for my wireless card, as I have not used the Toshiba restore disk. I tried to put in the 'work' toshiba disk in to see if there are drivers out there that I can access but can't find anything. I can't afford, or be bothered to order a different CD from Toshiba that will break after a format, so my question is; can someone link me to the drivers/software I need for my laptop to connect wirelessley to internet please?

I hope I gave enough information for a person to be able to answer me - I need my laptop ASAP to work!

  • CS5 hangs upward during the opening and used to play quicktime files

Ive been wrong this shot for days now and have not understood the problem. When I run CS5 on my iMac i7 Quad Core 2.8 it hangs up during the launch. Sometimes he got through, but it's usually when I stop the QT32 Server process in the monitor of activity... but then he tells me all of my video clips cannot be imported - this 'MooV' file is damaged or not supported. The codecs are just the animation to 1080. I have the version snow leopard 10.6.4 and quicktime 10 and 7 when installed. I tried to remove the AE preferences as well. The only plugins I have installed are trapcode 2.1 and contraction. Most of the time when I open AE by itself, it does very well, but if I open one of my old project files, it hangs up during loading, and once I left the sever process all my video files (codec animation) QT32 are unreadable in AE and say ' may not be imported - this MooV file is damaged or not supported. Any ideas whether what I have to do? Any help would be great! Thank you!

    > import the same clips that are in my other projects

I'm a bit confused by the present.  Please specify:

If you start a new project, you can import the clips in the project you are having a problem loading?

What it sounds like, it is that your project may has been corrupted somehow.  Since you can get opening project closing QT32 server, it probably means one of the references to your source clips is the problem.

    Try these ideas:

-Start a new project and import the project evil in it.  If it works, you good to go.

-Offline QuickTime files.  It's simple on Windows-rename the folder (s) they are in.  On Mac, it's more complicated because Mac OS is smarter on the follow-up of the files; the easiest is to copy them and then trash the original (but do not empty the trash).  Once the files offline, open the project.  If the project opens, OK, the message about missing files.  Now create a link to the files until you get a failure.  Once you get a failure, you know that you have either a bad reference in the project. delete it in the project Panel, and then re-import the file.

-Exit QT32 Server, open the wrong project.  Save as to create a new copy to work.  Now repeat steps on disconnection and reissue of links the above files.
