  I have a problem with Lightroom 4.1. When I start the import, lightroom crashes with an 'Application' error all the time. I tried to trash the preference file, but there was no change. I tried to make a clear cataloge, but no change to my problem. At least, I have uninstalled Lightroom completely and it installed again. But the same problem.

  The problem was not from the beginning. I could import several photos. 20 k pictures are imported.

  The problem is resolved. It was than my Samsung Galaxy S2, which was connected to my computer.

  Thanks to this post. I spent my night of hole for troubleshooting. research forum was not successful.

  for all the guys with the same problem: unplug the phone and everything is ok with the import. For Adobe: Fix with the next update.

• Why FM hangs when you import PDF comments?

  I'm under FM 9.0p255 on Windows 7 and using Acrobat Pro 9.4.5 (running Windows XP on another computer) to enable comments in Adobe Reader. After you save the file, in Windows 7 I open Adobe Reader 9.2.0 and make comments, then save the file. In FM 9, I open my file of 2 pages and import pdf comments. FM blocks. I tried everything to eliminate the problem, all the way to the creation of a file of FM with just the words "this is a test" in it. I went through the process of review of Acrobat and added a Word. When I tried to import pdf comments, I got this error:

  "The date of the change of the source file is newer than the date of creation of the tagged PDF. Comments PDF can not be imported correctly. Click Yes to continue. »

  When I click Yes, FrameMaker crashes.

  What is strange, is that my file of FM 2011-08-05 16:39 as the update.

  My commented PDF has 08/05/2011 16:43 as the update.

  I tried to restart my computer and that did not help. Anyone know anything else I can try?

  Linda, I wonder if there are some 'conflict' is raised because you are using Windows 7 and Windows XP.

  Specifically, I wonder if the two systems have shifted the timestamp, and thats why FM is to give the "most recent creation date" problem.

  I understand not what role the XP system a in your test, however - you can not only use FM == and is make the PDF on the same Win7 box, comment on this box, then import the comments?

  Naturally, you may eventually be able to import comments from all sorts of other systems, but for troubleshooting you might try to create-comment-import cycle on only Win7 box?

  If it works, then you could see, you can set the system time in the XP box to be a little slower than the Win7 box and try again with the XP box into the mix.

  Edit: change that the system clock is suggested as a test procedure to see if we can isolate the exact cause, I do not pretend that all your reviewers to work reliably would need synchronize their systems :-)

• How to re import files that have been downloaded in Lightroom

  I've updated my Lightroom last week and now my Lightroom program hangs up and import looks and works differently.

  I cant't find or re - import my files after Lightroom imported to an unknown destination.

  Had the same problem earlier set as follows:

  1. Access all photographs in the catalog menu in the left sidebar while you are in library mode. If you cannot find your images in the overview of the photos , be sure that you have not selected filters that allows you to hide some images.
  2. From there, you should be able to locate your images previously imported (probably the easiest to locate by sorting by Date of Capture). Select them, press BACKSPACE and choose "Delete with Lightroom" not "removes the disk.

  I imported swf banners on my site and it works very well. Now, I want to do it on my iPad. Kind of Flash I diverted to html5 and exported to a js file. I thought that would work, but Muse can even import this file. Is it possible to come around that? I have on board, but I do not work in that. Edge solves the problem?

  Muse is not simply 'import' a Javascript file. You must first add the .js in the loading of a file, which will download the .js file in the folder "active". You will need to integrate the appropriate sections of the HTML file that was also created by Flash. And after that, it may not always work.

• Files won't import from the camera Nikon D3200 in LR5

  I just installed LR 5.7.1. I have the camera is connected directly (Nikon D3200). Thumbnails of my camera are available (I have deselected some of the images I want to not import). The folder "Images" by default on my HDD is the selected destination. I click on the "Import" button and the message "importing files...". ' appears and just, hangs nothing of imports (camera battery dies after a few hours).   Try trashing the prefs start by stop smoking 5 Lightroom.

  Launch the Finder and click on the menu go to, just by holding down the Option (alt) key. Then go to library > preferences and delete everything about LR5 which means generally that the deletion of the following files:

  com.adobe.Lightroom5.plist

  com.adobe.Lightroom5LSSharedFileList.plist

  Then relaunch Lightroom.

  Also check the privileges on the pictures folder or that you import into a subfolder. Right-click on it, and press Cmd + I and in the info dialog box ensure that read and write permissions are enabled.

  It's the iframe that flashes white. an iframe will be automatically generated by placing the file .oam within the muse of adobe.

  I had set it to "allow a user interaction" which is what was causing the problem. I have deselected that option and choose 'auto play '. Now I can see the animation.

  The poster image still appears for a brief second, then disappears when the animation begins. Only, I intend to distribute with iOS, so I don't think I need the image of the poster at all.

• Place .docx in InDesign cs4 does not work

  I know I must be missing something very stupid, but this is the second project, I had this problem.

  My teacher told us to put our Word documents rather than copy and paste.  I have master pages with columns and text boxes.  On the page where I want the text, I did ctrl-shift-click to activate the box...

  I tried to place my .docx and nothing appears.  I don't get the cursor changed to who has demonstrated that he is 'hanging' there either.  I tried to choose the text tool and get the flashing cursor in the box text, then using the place and it still does not work.  I clicked on just try to hang on the slider, but nothing.  What step am I missing?

  There are a number of things that could happen. One is that the docx should start with a page break or an item that is too large to fit on the page, in which case it bumped to the next page or are not visible at all. Use the 'editor' mode to see if there is any text in the history, or find a symbol of overset text (a red sign in a box) in the bottom right of the text column.

  It could also be Microsoft Weirdness - I got used to simplify files in Word before you try to place them. Turn off "track revisions" and click "accept all changes" and save or even save again in the .doc instead of docx format in case there is something that hangs the Indesign import filters.

• Image of Drag And Drop in Flash

  Hello, im working on a Web site at the moment (just for fun) and are done with the layout and almost everything. Now, I want to do a photo so you can drag and drop around on the site.

  The problem is that it does´nt work, I ve tried several different tutorials and codes without success. Sometimes I get error 1120 and when not, nothing happens.

  PS I'm using Actionscript 3.0 and yes I have converted the image into a movieclip .

  Hope someone knows what could be the problem.
