hardware assisted for hpe - 490 virtualization?

I can't find a way to attract the attention of the bios on this brand new hp pavilion 490 t.

F10 does not seem to return to a menu of bios, well that suggests the screen quickly flashed at startup

It should be.  No escape (or the other f * keys I've tried).

MS tools suggest that processors are supported by the VHA, but it is not enabled in the

BIOS, so the recommendation is to enable it.

All advice appreciated.

If you use a wireless keyboard, and then try to switch to a directly connected USB keyboard if you have an additional keyboard.  I have the same mobo but I do not use a wireless keyboard.

Remotely, there might be a bios timing issue given that your PC is very fast.  I ran into a similar problem with not being able to get F8 to work on the blue HP screen.

One of my PC with the same motherboard your PC I did check the setting for virtualization in the bios and it is disabled by default.

There is an excellent expert HP here for these types of questions that might be able to help with your problem if another keyboard does not work.  You can even try your keyboard to a different USB port.

    Cecinit, welcome to the forum.

If ever you are using an SSD, you'll never go back to a hard drive.  As you can see in my signature, I installed a Samsung 840 EVO 500 GB, SSD, in my HP computer.  I had to use an adapter to install the SSD 2.5 "in a 3.5 drive Bay".  It was an easy task with the help of Samsung Data Migration software.  I left the installed hard drive as it was when I bought the computer.  Then, connected the SSD to a spare SATA port in the computer and clone the HDD to the SSD.  Using the Samsung software made it easy, as I said.  Once the HARD drive has been cloned, I disconnected the HARD drive and started the SSD.  It worked the first time.

Regarding the replacement of the HARD disk, the maximum hard disk supported by Windows 7 is 2 TB for the boot drive.  Here's what you have to do to use a hard drive of 4 TB with Win 7: in order to use a read more than 2 TB, you will need an operating system that can partition and format this disk. Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP (64 bit), Mac OS x 10.4.x (Tiger), Mac OS x 10.5.x (Leopard), Mac OS x 10.6.x (Snow Leopard) and Mac OS x 10.7.x (Lion) all have this capability across the Table to partition GUID (GPT). The GUID partitioning scheme has the ability to score inside and outside and external hard drives far beyond 2 TB size.

  • Use two assistants for the acquisition of data at the same time

    Hello

I want to read multiple data channels of analog inputs on my DAQ hardware. However, when I try to create two separate data acquisition assistants for each entry, it gives an error saying "is reserved for the specified resource. The operation could not be performed as indicated "." Can't use two assistants for the acquisition of data at the same time?

I have to add different channels in the same assistant DAQ? I tried, but I couldn't separate the data in different graphs.

    How does this work?

    Kind regards

    Allard

You can't have multiple tasks of the same type (in this case inputs analog) on the same device.  Just so having 1 DAQ Assistant read all your channels and separate your channels for individual transformation.

I'll go through the events on the screen and maybe you can inform me as to why this update for the new Assistant support will not correctly installed, thank you.  Everything goes up to 4. Then it will skip "Download updates" and go on 5 /, but nothing happens?

  • When upgrading RAM for HPE-350 t; 2GB or 4GB DIMMS?

I am running a HPE-350 t with 6 GB (3x2GB) RAM with a connector DIMM 240 pin available. I am considering adding a DIMM 2 GB of RAM or a 4 GB DIMMS in the open location. My vendor of choice for the DIMM suggests part of the OEM of only 2 GB of RAM compared to the 4 GB option to ensure compatibility. However, I like to pop in a 4 GB RAM DIMM If and only if, my computer would be faster and more efficient than adding only a 2 GB DIMM with No compatibility issues. Note: I do not know why my provider does not list a part OEM 4 GB DIMM for HPE-350 t, but apparently it does not. (This model supports up to 16 GB of RAM configured as 4x4GB DIMM, a manufacturer OEM 4 GB DIMMS must be available somewhere). However, the fact seller enter a part comparable 4 GB that it lists as a PC3 - 10666 DDR3 - 1333 Mhz 240 pin DIMM I think that work pourraient very well.

A corresponding 2GB DIMM module added to the #4 slot would cause #3-4 DIMM locations to work in dual mode? If so, that would give me a greater efficiency than the addition of 4 GB? I wouldn't mind saving some money, but if the 4 GB would give me more power to operate than the 2 GB, I'm willing to spend the extra money. Otherwise, I guess that just increased 2 GB would be OK, especially if this would produce #3-4 DIMM slots to work in dual mode and increase my performance system equal to, comparable or superior to the option to upgrade to 4 GB, thus saving me money (and headache as possible of the added 4 GB of RAM not working not not for any reason any) (, because it wouldn't be a matching pair to the 2 GB DIMM in the location #3)

    FYI, I'm currently running:

Name of HP: Iona-GL8E Motherboard with PC3-10600 DDR3 - 1333 Mhz RAM (16 GB max memory of 4x4Go)

    Intel Core-i7-860 Quad-core CPU

WIndows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit OS (supports up to 16 GB of RAM)

BTW, my choice provider identified the RAM I need like PC3-10666 versus the PC3-10600 listed on my computer of packing slip and mother HP map features page. Do I need to worry about this? Is it a typing mistake, or are they compatible? If not, what online provider would you suggest for a fully compatible part?

Any advice would be grealty appreciated.

I don't think that you have really understood what I said.

Be aware that when you add the 2 GB memory module if it is not in all respects identical to the other three modules you desktop Pc is probably not start Windows. It's the most critical thing of all to pay attention to if you do not like disappointments upgrade memory.

    Good luck.
