has had to do a reinstall full of my operating system... pc not running right

I have an alienware x 51 r2. Yesterday, I wanted to do a my computer factory reset, but it went terribly and I ended up having to do a clean reinstall of windows 7. (he had 10 before windows). After much grief that I finally got my computer running win 10 once again, but all the drivers and things disappeared. I don't have a factory reset option more. my computer device manager has had a lot of yellow checkmarks, I used the driver booster and it got rid of all but something still does not work and I don't know what. All my games do not run as they did at all. the disks that the computer came with are of no use (I can't even use the resource disc more after I've updated to win 10), and if I try to do a custom installation of windows with the drive to win 7, with what it is here, it gives me an error. At this point I'm tired and frustrated and not know what to do.  How can I know which drivers to get back on my system after reinstalling own snack to happen? How can I tell if my computer is missing something or if maybe the driver booster gave me bad drivers when everything seems as if its works well?

kaeyre

Sorry, when I said, it seems that his works although I was referring to the way in which all the stuff in my device manager seems to work

No problem.
Remove all USB except KB and a mouse (and monitor) devices.
Remember that Core "Intel Chipset Drivers" settle FIRST, the rest of the drivers to install correctly then.
I usually jump "Intel-RST" (driving improved Intel SATA HARD drives) and - HARD drive to just use Microsoft SATA grouped those instead.
Install the latest Alienware Command Center to last.
Material x 51 - R2 is very basic and generic, so it should work fine.

    Thank you very much... in other words, I just reinstall the PSE11 and put in the key that came with it and that's all I have to do... Adobe not "bother" on this new installation.

    As says the question: my computer has been infected recently with Sirefef (AB and W variants).  How will I know if I do a backup/clean install of the operating system or not?

    I'm running a full system scan in ESM right now, and it has detected multiple instances of sirefef.   I have remove as they pop up, but I'm afraid that when I run another scan they all will always be there.  Is there a way to know if MSE is actually remove them and he cleaning?  If not, should I do a back up and reinstall the OS?

    Thank you.  I can choose to try this, however, I would like an answer to my other questions first.

    Sirefef is a rootkit and yes he can hide in your system.  This is why it has been suggested that you may need to reformat/reinstall.  In fact, it's the only way to eliminate malware.  Multiple scans with several scanners and no conclusion malware probably indicate he disappeared, but the key word is "probably".  Malwarebytes is good and what he finds now may be traces of the infection, but what he finds perhaps not active more - it is always good to run the scans so.

    What spare drive did you run?  What scanners did you use?  See again you and follow the guide "Malwaretips"?

    Assume that you have not had an opportunity to review the MSE Installation Checklist or you would have noted that MSE and Windows Defender cannot be used on the same computer.  So if WD works in fact it means MSE has been disabled/not not work correctly or not installed.

  • Uninstall Windows Pro 8.1 to reinstall original Windows 7 operating system, and then reinstall Windows Pro 8.1?

    Here's a good. I want to uninstall my Windows 8 Pro upgrade, reinstall my original Windows 7 and then reinstall my Windows 8 Pro update. My product key will still work on Windows 8 Pro upgrade? My reason for this? I want to retrieve all of my software that came with my computer, when it was new. I have the disc, but also the keys. Also, if someone could walk me through the steps I sure would appreciate it. That is to say: "where should I start and how? Please, I beg you. I don't want to not update my Windows 8 Pro that is not my goal! My goal is to put back my original software on my computer that I lost (my ignorance) during the upgrade. All the software is on the recovery disk of I purchased from Acer. All I really need to know is if my product key for Windows 8 Pro that I bought in shop Windows will be valid. If someone can just answer, I would love!
    Thank you

    Hello

    You don't need to uninstall anything... Just boot with the disk #1 you have purchased from Acer...

    You may have you press a key at startup to start the process, but probably not...

    You may also delete the partitions on the HARD disk with a bootable 3rd party program, but probably not...

    The way these types of sets of discs work normally is that they write more everything on the HARD drive and restore it to its State 'as new '...

    You should not have more problems with the upgrade process, you had the first time...

    You could try a system restore:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

    Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  • Computer that has crushed - I have to reinstall the same operating system to avoid losing files.

    Basically, everything I've read about the BSOD "Unmountable boot error" I have tells me that I have to reinstall XP. The question is can I install a different operating system and not lose all my files on the computer? Thank you

    Hello

    ·        What is the exact error message that you encounter in Blue Screen of Death (BSOD)?

    ·        You are able to boot into safe mode without any problem?

    ·        Remember to make changes to the system?

    ·        Do you have the XP CD with you?

    Method 1:

    If you have the XP disc and then start in the recovery and then console perform a disk check. I suggest you to check the below link.

    When you restart your computer or upgrade to Windows XP, you receive the error message "STOP 0x000000ED UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME".

    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=297185

    Method 2:

    If this does not help, then you can install a parallel installation of Windows XP on the same drive and then copy the important files and folders that are present on the system to an external device (flash drive), then install a new copy of the Windows XP operating system. Follow the steps mentioned in the article given below to perform a parallel installation of Windows XP.

    Follow method 4 that is listed in the article given below to perform a parallel installation of Windows XP.

    How to install or upgrade to Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/978307

    Copy the files to an external device, and then create a clean install the operating system.

    I suggest you to check the links below, if you plan to install Windows Vista or Windows 7

    Install, reinstall, and then uninstall

  • System was originally shipped with Windows 7, I had fixed it, but the operating system has been changed to XP. Can I use the product key on the side to reinstall Windows 7?

    Reinstalling windows 7 after re-start of windows xp

    I bought my Asus computer came with windows 7 installed, earlier this year, I encountered a problem with the blue screen to come and I was unable to fix it, when I had my computer repaired they changed the operating system to windows xp, I was wondering if with registration # or whatever is on the side if I could download and reinstall Windows 7

    If the product key on the side of your machine is for Windows 7 and where-ever you guessed it "repaired" installed Windows XP - the real question becomes where they got a product key for Windows XP?

    You have the installation media for the copy of Windows 7 OEM which is preinstalled on your computer?

    If not - you will probably need to contact Asus (this laptop?) over media restore and/or check to see if the "repair" left any which restoration method should have been used intact.

    How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    You can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
