has the pen tool Photoshop cs5

I have suffered with elements 7 what is the best product of photoshop

to buy that contains the tool pen.

I do not know if CS5 features of a specific pen tool.

You can get excellent help on the link below.

http://forums.Adobe.com/index.jspa?promoid=JOPCT

I am a member of the Adobe forums and help has always been good.

I have items 6 and 10, and there is a tool of the stylus pressure.

Once the editor is open and the Brush tool is selected, click on the small arrow beside the brushmark.

In the menu you will find the pen pressure.

You can also click with the right button on the Brush tool and click on the pencil tool.

You may know this, but if you do not I hope it helps.

  • The pen tool Photoshop: spot-welding?

I work with Photoshop CS3 and I have 3 trails that were on different layers until I moved them all in 1 layer.  I can select all paths with the path Selection tool and not "Combine" 1 way... but it does what I need to.  I have to be able to take 2 nodes (or "anchor points") and weld them together as 1 anchorage point.  I noticed that combining paths (even if by placing nodes just above the other) does not become 2 nodes 1.  They are still a 2-node on top of the other.  I went to remove the anchor around these 2 nodes and that's when I noticed that they were not "welded".  I know that in Cinema 4 d you can 'solder' points together and it works perfectly for what I need in C4D but I need this work in Photoshop.  Is there a way?

    Of course, here you go:

  • How can I change the color of the pen tool path in Photoshop cs5 to contrast with the images?

I have an extreme amount of traces of clipping in Photoshop. I used the pen tool with a grey path dull to try to cut the images correctly. How can I change the color of the path to contrast with the picture so I can see the path is better? I currently have Adobe cs5 and cs4 versions of Photoshop allowed me if that helps...

  • The pen tool is rasterized in Photoshop CS3

I am trying to trace an image and create a vector image, but when I am using the pen tool it seems already to be rasterized. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I tried to check some parameter, but I still don't know what to look for. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Here is a screenshot of what I'm working with.

There is nothing wrong with your... monitor. Do not attempt to adjust the image. We are against the transmission.

Vector traces in Photoshop are invisible, what you see is a pixel layer filled with a color United and defined by a vector path. This has all the benefits of the use of vectors with the exception that when you zoom in, you'll see smooth edges. This is only a display problem that Photoshop can display only the pixels, but your path will be smooth no matter how large or small make you.

  • Photoshop CS4: Using the pen tool to add corner rather than the curved anchor anchors

Hello people, I tried everything I could think about using different sentences, but have yet to find a way to do it or if it was possible. I'm working on a project that requires the addition of many corner anchors to paths. By default, using the feather of Photoshop CS4 adds curve anchors. Therefore I have to add the anchor and then convert it into a corner. Is there an easy way to make the PS to create corners instead of curves with the pen tool? Even using combos Shift-Ctrl-alt-click did not help? Would save me time and mental health!

    Thank you all,

Try adding points with the normal pen, hold down the ALT key and clicking twice.

  • Reflection on the upgrade from Photoshop CS5 to CS6

Hello. I began to think about the upgrade. I like making art, even if I can afford to go. There has been a lot of times I watch speedpaints. Most digital artists use CS6 and looks like it does a great job with the painting. Just use the paint bucket and there is no need for additional coloring to look right, they can use the pen tool and fix it, and they can easily color contours.

I have Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended, which was given to me as a gift a few years ago. I hope that I can take the brushes, gradients, styles, and swatches for her if I update.

You should be able to migrate your brushes, presets, actions etc. styles.  I'm not a painter, and so I can't tell you if you if CS6 has much better painting features than CS5.    To obtain an upgrade of the CS6, you will need to call Adobe directly. Adobe will try to talk to you when you subscribe to CC instead of upgrading to CS6.

  • I use CS6 and when I use the pen tool, it removes the Interior isn't the external image of the image

I've been using photoshop cs5 and cs6 for some time, but I've never encountered this problem. Whenever I use the pen tool to draw an object and I close the outline object, it deletes the object I have traced him and not the bottom. It's really annoying and I can't change it. I have spentt a good amount of time to try to change but I don't know how. Can someone please help I also watched online, but there is nothing to help.
    Thank you Alex

    Hello

This is probably the path setting operations.

The default setting in photoshop cs6 is to exclude the shapes that overlap, and you can also use forms combine.

  • Features of the line of my mouse and the pen tool are thicker than my tablet.

Hello, I have just built a new computer and tried drawing in Photoshop but it turns out that my features of line of my mouse and the pen tool appear to be twice as thick as my Tablet features. I am currently using the Wacom Intuos small Pen & Touch tablet. I messed with the settings and put sensitivity to pressure for setting low to make sure that I get a fixed size for each shot, so it's probably a sensitivity problems. I don't have this problem with my last computer when I used the same Tablet and the program Photoshop I use now. Does anyone have suggestions about how can I fix? Thank you for your time.

Occam's razor would tell us that it is almost certainly a problem with spring pressure.

Or the other of the two first round brushes by selecting in the brush Panel must ensure pencil and mouse identical brush sizes.

The other thing to look at is the options bar.  The other icon highlighted in red, is the pressure change opacity.

You can use both at the same time.

  • copy and mirror of the pen tool path

I am currently using Photoshop CS6 and trying unsuccessfully to reflect the way I created with the pen tool.

So far, I've been able to create the way I need and fill it, but the challenge is to select, copy, paste, and reverse the trend.   Can someone please help.

    Thank you.

CTRL + C, Ctrl + V to copy and paste, then Ctrl + T to transform, then enter '-100% ' in the areas either width or height.

  • Help please with the pen tool! :)

I'm trying to draw a building with the pen tool.

I want that every surface (form?) to a new layer, but I want to use the angle of the previous shape to start and complete the new form so that they are distinct, but join perfectly.

I tried to use the transform tool to create forms I need and align them next to another form, but I don't know how

to make 'snap' to the shape on the other layer.

    I use Photoshop CC.

I was trying to search online, but finding this difficult issue of Word correctly in google to be honest.

Thanks in advance! I hope this makes sense.

I must say I want the forms remain separated.

Yes, they would be all on separate layers.  You would use only part of the last shape to start the next to ensure perfect alignment.

Illustrator is a nod to the Point.  It always annoyed me that Photoshop does not handle the snap with the pen or free transform tool.  :-(

  • PC shortcuts for the pen tool

Does anyone have a cheat sheet for shortcuts for the pen tool or any detailed instruction starting for PC on Photoshop users essential? I don't have a MAC thank you.

    The main keyboard shortcuts are:

SHIFT + P to select the pen tool

Click to create a path with straight lines between points (hold down the SHIFT key to perfectly horizontal or vertical lines) or click and drag for curves by using levers extended to your desired shape.

Press the Alt key (cursor changes in > when you hover over a point) and you can re - position for example to move one end of a lever regardless of the other end.

Press Ctrl Key and cursor changes to the white pointer - click anywhere on the path to highlight all points while the Ctrl Key is pressed again to choose a single point. You can then refine this single point, for example by using the arrow keys on the keyboard.

  • Unable to set keyframes in the audio clip selected with the pen tool - can no longer see the volume control line after developing the clip. What could be the problem? This seems to be the problem on any project that I opened.

Cannot set keyframes in the audio clip selected with the pen tool - cannot see even the line volume control more to set keyframes on having developed the clip. What could be the problem?  I use the first CC pro @.

You can use the Ctrl key and then click with the regular selection tool, clicking with ctrl will make a new keyframe. in this way, have no need for the tools. CTRL has other great shortcuts that will stop you having to spend retouching pads tools too.

If the automation keyframe line is missing, you can switch on and off in the menu sequence.
