  I bought the HP m8120n in 2008 desktop computer, as it was a very good bang for the buck.  Recently, the power supply died and I needed to upgrade the power supply and decided to drop all components of m8120n in a more grand/more spacious housing as well.  After getting all the old m8120n coins in the new case, I realized that I had forgotten where the wireless connector connected to the motherboard!  Can someone tell me where on the motherboard this wireless connector is supposed to connect to?  My computer knowledge is limited, so it is best to circle on the motheboard below link where exactly it is supposed to go!

  Hello oneshoec, it sounds like your system may have been shipped with one of two different wireless devices.

  The picture on the link of the system specifications shows the device wirelessly with a coaxial cable connector.

  (the small gold seeking threaded adapter)

  The other wireless device that could have been delivered with your system is equipped with an internal thread that is just threaded inside the system to the Panel.

  This thread should have a small female shovel clip attached to one end of the should be inserted in a clip of male husk on the small device wireless on the upper left side of the device.

  It must just be pressed on the clip of male cat with a minimum pressure to ensure that do not damage the unit.

  There were members who suggest that the male cat clip is missing from their wireless device.

  If this is the case, you need to resolder the wire to the wireless device or replace it.

  If you are referring to the connection of the device to the motherboard, it must be plugged into a USB port available on the motherboard.
