    Hello

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing and will certainly help you in the right direction to solve the problem. However, I would be grateful if you could answer a few questions to refine the question in order to provide you with better assistance.

    1. Form when you try to open pictures? Is it in Photo Viewer?
    2. What type of files you are trying to open?
    3. You are able to open the photos in the Photos App?
    4. What is the brand and model of the computer?
    5. You did changes to the computer before this problem?

I suggest you to try the steps below and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

Method 1: Run the utility to search and index and check.

    a. press the Windows key + X and click on Control Panel.

    b. click on Troubleshooting.

    c. Select display all on the upper left corner.

    d. perform research and solving problems of indexing.

Method 2: Restart the Windows Search service and check.

    (a) press Windows + R key and type "services.msc" and press ENTER.

    (b) locate the Windows Search service and right-click on it.

    (c) click Properties and check that the start option has been activated.

Method 3: If the problem persists, I suggest you to run a full scan using the Microsoft Safety Scanner (MSS) to ensure that the computer is virus-free.

The Microsoft Safety Scanner free is a downloadable security tool that allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malicious software. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • My lightroom does not open. I get an error message saying "windows cannot find"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom\lightroom.exe". Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again"when nothing is irrelevant.

Please help me. I uninstalled all lightroom related and reinstalled and nothing works!

    Hi noelc,

This is related to the problem of association of files on the Windows platform. Other applications works very much like Photoshop.

Please completely including current uninstall Lightroom and the old version of it.

    Restart the Machine (very Important)

Reinstall the application from Creative Cloud Desktop App (disconnect & connect away from getting the latest version of Lightroom)

    Kind regards

  • box says "Windows cannot find (site) Please check spelling... then Mozilla it is."

Shows box irritating when I go on a website. I re - configure IE, re-installed Firefox, got rid of the Google toolbar, check the extensions and got rid of some, all I can think about. Read the article on the problem, followed instructions, etc, all to nothing does not. What does Windows search site anyway, because Firefox considers it very well?

  • At startup, the windows startup, an error message that says: "Windows cannot find locally - stored profile login with the temporary profile. "You will lose changes when arrested. What can I do to fix this?

This Windows XP Home. on a Compaq Presario SR1710NX.  Windows can not find the locally stored profile and logs on to a sense of temporary profile every time that the computer is off all changes is lost.

Your user profile is damaged and you put in a temporary user profile. This is why nothing is saved. Create a new user profile for yourself and copy the data from the old profile to it. After you have all your stuff, you can remove the old corrupted user profile if you wish. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Installation file error - windows cannot find ' C:\Users\---\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE\PDapp\core\... \D6\... \D...\setup.exe'

Whenever I try to install an adobe application, I get to the menu where you select the programs to install and install the location of the folder and when I click on 'install' an error saying "Windows cannot find ' C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE\PDapp\core\... \D6\... \D...\setup.exe'".

(I had a problem with windows 10 where it does not recognize the file extension in the file name, so if I could find the file, I might be able to solve the problem by renaming it to "setup.exe", but there is no such thing as the folder/file in question)

Please try to remove Adobe Application Manager to help cleaning tool and try reinstalling the product. In case this does not work, please rename the OOBE folder from both the location after having removed Adobe Application Manager to try again and cleaning tool.
