HDMI not his TV

I have a dv5-1388 upgrade to Windows 7. No sound from the tv using the HDMI cable. I looked into the sound folder in the PC and I did not click on an option of HDMI. Now where should I go from here? Thank you

Hello

Download the Chipset driver and the graphics driver on the links below and save the installation on your desktop programs.

Driver Chipset

Intel Graphics Driver

Then, in Device Manager, open graphics cards, right-click on the graphic chip Intel and select Properties.  Click the driver tab, and then select uninstall.  Once completed, do the same for the for the Audio HDMI Intel High Definition and the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC under sound, video and game controllers.

Return to the desktop and install the driver from the Chipset, then the graphics driver.  When you are done, reboot the laptop, let Windows fully load (it should automatically reinstall the driver IDT) and check the following points.

Check in the device that both Manager Intel and Intel Hi Definition Audio HDMI graphics have reinstalled successfully and if you see the Audio HDMI option under the playback (found in Control Panel, sounds) devices.

If it appears correctly, try the HDMI connection and see if it works now correctly.

Kind regards

    Hello nancyv,.

I just want to be able to check before you go further than you use a HDMI cable and not something like a DVI connection.

You will be able to look at the HDMI connectors from the following link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01409647

If you use an HDMI cable, in fact, follow the steps from the links below:

    1. Update the BIOS.
    2. HDMI display resolution and problems of his (Windows 7 and Vista).
    3. No sound in Windows.

I would like to know if it works!

    Thank you

Recently, I have reinstalled windows a week ago but when I tried to plug my cable HDMI to my TV I get video but no sound, I have entered in my manager and clicked on see the disconnected and disabled devices that has nothing past. I downloaded the HP page audio drivers for my laptop, that nothing happens that I've even updated card grphics driver after the hearing that the HDMI is connect from there, or something that has nothing happened. I am at a loss, that I am unable to hear sound through my TV and none of the countless links that I follow on goggle me got answers so if anyone knows a solution please help.

    OK... see if it works...

Download and save, but do not run this driver of Intel HD graphics from the support page of your laptop.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp72001-72500/sp72370.exe

Then download and install this free utility for files.  The 2nd file on the page is 64-bit.

    http://www.7-zip.org/

After installing 7 - Zip, please right click on the graphic driver file you downloaded and saved.

Select 7 - Zip from the list of items.

Have 7-Zip extract of: and leave it to decompress the file in the file name (sp72370).

After this is done, go to the Device Manager and click to expand the category of device sound, video and game controllers.

You should see an IDT HD audio device and a regular HD Audio device.

Click on the HD (not the one IDT) Audio device.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver 7-Zip created folder.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and the driver should install.

Restart the PC and see now if you get audio and video HDMI port.

  • Omen Pro 15: Omen Pro, HDMI not worlk

On any of the new omen Pro, we bought the works of HDMI ports. Or live on the PC, or via a port replicator USB 3005pr. best estimate is drivers.

I did a full factory reset and installed all the drivers using the recovery tool and updated with Support from HP tool.

    But nothing...

Also tried Win Enterprise 8.1, same same.

    Any ideas?

    / P

    None.

But there is a simple answer. Connection to a HP with HDMI computer to an HP using DisplayPort monitor does not work.

To be honest, it isn't specific HP. HDMI / DP is not simply supported.

  • Fixed satellite A200 HDMI not working not not on TV

Hello, can someone please tell what to do for my HDMI to work.

Previously, it works on all Tv with HDMI but for some time
now when I connect to a TV does not work the screen turns blue. You can see something to configure.

    Hello

Usually there are not many options that must be changed.
Connect two devices (TV and laptop) with a good HDMI cable.
Choose HDMI channel on the TV
Turn on the laptop and press FN + F5 repeatedly until photo appears on TV.

    That is ;)

  • Tecra R700 - HDMI not working not

I don't get an hdmi with FnF5 nor in the Intel display panel option.
There is no signal hdmi either. The system is Win7 64 bit.

Is there a driver that must be added to get hdmi? Or what? BIOS up to date?

    Hello

You you connected the LCD correctly the laptop?
You must choose the right HDMI channel on the LCD screen and should turn the external LCD screen before using the FN + F5!
Please note that you must press FN + F5 repeatedly to exit HDMI as an option.

The Tecra R700 seems to be a Canadian of Toshiba and released series on the Canadian market. Therefore, you must use the Toshiba Canada page for downloads driver if necessary.
    http://support.Toshiba.ca/support/download/ln_byModel.asp

Also check if the HDMI option is available in the BIOS.
    Maybe you could change something

PS: I noticed that a new BIOS has been released too. It s v1.80

  • HDMI not connected

When I plug the HDMI cable I have no problem looking at my Mac on the TV screen. Once in awhile, it does not and the display shows not 'connected', while the Mac screen has no 'fear' as it usually does when you plug in the HDMI cable. I tried 1. repair disk utility, restart, unplug the TV, but these measures do not help. I usually try the next day and it works as usual. The problem is clearly with the computer because my 2nd TV reacts the same thing. What is the problem?

    Hi there keskeskeksa,

Looks like you connect your TV to your computer and it does not work exactly as it should. I would use the troubleshooting steps in the following article:

Get help with graphical problems on external displays connected to your Mac.

Restart your Mac in safe mode to reset the default display resolution.

If booting safe mode doesn't resolve the problem, reset your Mac NVRAM and SMC to reset the video ports on your Mac to their default values.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

We couldn't get a picture of my friends PS3. I agree with the previous posters, this is the worst tech purchase I did for years. No support, not a single valid reason why this is happening. No wonder they're going in the hole, I hope they go bankrupt.

  • Satellite C50 - Has - TV HDMI not recognized

    Hi all

I just bought the Toshiba Satellite C50-A-U19 (pscg6e) with 64-bit windows 8 3 days ago. Connecting HDMI to my TV worked for 2 days, but right now the phone does not display TV as a device.

I tried several starting sequences and tried to "find new hardware" in the Device Manager. I changed the HDMI ports on the TV. However, there is no sign that the TV is recognized. I tried using +.

but because no additional monitor is found, nothing happens.

I changed the HDMI cable and tested the cable (and the TV HDMI port) with a playstation.

I downloaded and installed the latest drivers to display on the toshiba site. I tried to use the Device Manager to see if updates are available, windows tells me that I already have the latest drivers.

I used the "System Restore" feature to restore the configuration of a day, but to no avail. I spent about 3 hours trying to solve this problem, and I'm so frustrated right now.

I am absolutely no idea of what else I can do at this point to get the HDMI to post a link to the top with my TV. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Please please please help me!

At first, I have to write something that has nothing to do with the problem described: Please create a preinstalled use recovery media creator Toshiba recovery media. It is very important to do with the new laptop.

As I see you have almost tried everything but as the last step I recommend to install the OS using this recovery media created. After that make this laptop will be new factory settings. It will be interesting to know if everything works again when the laptop has settings from factory again.

  • D7N36PA: HDMI not detected HP Pavilion Touchsmart 14-B132tx Intel Core i3

PLEASE HELP ME. I tried ALL the solutions I found online and nothing worked!

    OS: 8.1 - 64 bit Windows

    1. my HDMI cable is brand new, AND we tested it in the store, with the TV the store clean and laptop.

    2. its Panel-> reading tab, then click with the right button on the two options, called "show disabled devices" and
"See the disconnected devices" which appeared and checked these. Did not work. He showed not the HDMI device
    during playback.

    3. also installed the latest reserve Intel GMA, even ran the driver update utility so Intel
It can detect that drivers need to be modernised. Downloaded their latest driver, rebooted and still the HDMI
device anywhere, does not display in its Panel.

    4. I also went to the Manager of devices-> system-> High Definition devices Audio Controller to update driver
but Windows says its updated because I downloaded the latest Driver Intel for Windows 8.1

    5. I also went to services.msc and restarted the Windows Audio Service. The HDMI device does not always show
in my sound card Panel or Device Manager. I restarted my laptop while the TV is turned on and connected to
laptop via HDMI. Still does NOT work.

    Hi @faithfern09,

Thank you for your query. I understand that you are experiencing a difficulty to connect an additional screen via HDMI. You have checked that the cable is good, because they tested in store for you. You tried to update some drivers, but there has been no change.

When I checked the page software and drivers for your laptop, I noticed there's BIOS and chipset updates. Please run the HP Support Assistant to help with any other recommended updates.  Another link that can help is HP Notebook PC - connection of a monitor, projector or TV (Windows 8).

Have you tried to run the troubleshooter in Windows?

What is the model of the additional display?

Have you checked the site of the manufacturer of the drivers for the display?

Please let me know the results.

  • Satellite L850/046 HDMI not working not

I have the laptop above 8 win with a plug vga on a monitor.
Recently, I bought an HDMI cable to a spare with dvi - d 18 pin port monitor.
He worked for a week then suddenly just now connected HDMI monitor cleared port.

I tried to use the display function to turn it back to the but no luck.
Only the VGA connected monitor works and the laptop monitor is also disabled.

They only way I can get the laptop monitor to work is to disconnect the HDMI port.
Some how connect this port is now interfering with the monitor to the laptop to function.
I tried to restart the laptop but having the same problem.

I saw on another forum where the moderator suggested using this link to reinstall the driver, Toshiba
    http://support.Toshiba.com/drivers

I tried to use the serial number and model number, but it does not either.

    Someone has an idea?

    Kind regards

    James

Your PSKG8A-046001was Toshiba Satellite L850/046 released in Australia and you must use the Toshiba Australia support page to get the drivers.
    http://www.MyToshiba.com.au/support/download

But I put t know which driver you want to reinstall or update?
There is no particular HDMI driver. The HDMI port is recognized automatically by the system.

But of course, it might be possible that your graphics card drivers are muddled up: Intel and AMD
So uninstall the ATI GPU driver first.

The laptop uses the Intel Core i5 3210M CPU processor and this graphic unit supports internal Intel HD 4000 CPU.
I recommend you update the Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver and the ATI/AMD driver.

By the way: the latest version of the Intel HD Graphics driver 4000 can be downloaded from Intel page too.

  • HDMI not working on Satellite L750

    Hello.

Will be happy if someone can help with this problem.

I have connected my Satellite L750, PSK2YA - 04K 010 with Windows 7 sp1 (64-bit) to my TV today using a new HDMI cable. It worked fine for awhile, then the display on the TV were cut. I still managed to get the display on the laptop to work.

I used Fn + F5 to see if I can wrong it come back to life, but it did not work. After a long struggle, I just couldn't get the TV to work again with HDMI.

I checked to see if I have all the latest drivers and all seem OK. I reinstalled the video drivers nVidia and then tested again. Same thing happened. It works for a while and then died on me once again.

I noticed that I have a BIOS version 1.5, but cannot find a site where it lists the last update of the BIOS.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    See you soon

    Huh

    Hello huh

It is not easy to understand what the problem may be, but try to please use another port HDMI on your TV if there are few of them. Use, for example, 2 HDMI, turn on your TV and then use the combination of keys FN + F5 again.

When you press FN + F5 are always several options listed there?
You can be on TV again?
