Heating question Z5

If I watch a few clips on 480 p for example I lose small % of batery and my back of the phone is normal but when I watch HD videos or playing games Burns my phone... What is the problem?

Hi @cakiMK,

Video HD and games will cause the CPU to work harder, so you should expect the phone to get more hot do those things, but should not be uncomfortable to hold.

The handset has a built-in security which will cause the phone turns off automatically if it overheats.

Hello world! Earlier this year I bought a HP Envy 17 times for school and games, so far I've been pretty happy with it. However, before yesterday I bought Far Cry 3 blood Dragon, a game that my laptop should be able to manage well enough. But when you play the game, stretches of CPU temperatures of 90-93 and the GPU seems to run stable at 91 C. It's extremely hot, since I am able to run Battlefield 3 and Crysis 3 running in the low 80 c without problem.

Of course when I lived my first action was to clean dust and debris from vents (there was very little), but that doesn't have anything major. Then I started to lower the parameters of the game a bit, I went from high heat to low/medium settings as well as spend DX11 to DX9, that did not help either though. Then my last attempt had to close everything except the programs needed to run the game, did not help either.

So now, I turn to you, the HP forum, help. I thought that if someone knows how to solve this problem, it's you guys.

I hope you guys can help me, because I am at a loss. Thank you!

A book!  I am fearful!  I hope it's a great book, well read, favorite and you are balancing on the edge for laptop.

I think that I do not get on an advantage of 20 + degree - not really sure since I stopped to measure these things a long time ago.  When the laptop fans begin to run 'high' for as long as I can stand it, I turn on the cooler.  If the fan of the laptop will not adjust after a bit, I mount the cooler fan a little speed.  It's more than an automatic response at this stage.

I'm running an old, cooler Zalman ZM-NX2000 connected to a ZIIG USB 3.0 AC powered 7 port hub.

The cooler has its own on/off switch and fan speed control.

The ZIIG hub has its own power supply cooler is not running on the computer.

The ZIIG is connected to one of the USB ports 3.0 on the left side of the laptop.

When the cooler is turned on, there is a little blue light next to the switch to indicate that it is running.

    Nice.

The ONLY thing that is a little clumsy on the Setup, is that I have the cooler connected to the powered hub ZIIG.  I don't have to remember to turn off the cooler when I want off the coast.  The little blue light is useful for this.  More than once I wandered into the Office at home in the middle of the night (I tend to be in place at all hours) and there are the 'blue light' reminding me that I need to disable this cooler!  That would be the best thing in the world to put everything on a timer...  The smile.

    Thermal paste

It is a time to honor method to improve your situation several roles.  I saw it reported more than once the thermal paste used in the manufacturing process could be better.  You might well see a significant improvement if you decide to make this change.

Be warned - if you have a warranty now, you will have one at the moment where you have completed this procedure.

However, it may be worth considering if you're more interested in the results.

  • line and the value of manual entry of a heat question

I have a manual, I try to grab the empno in 1 column.and another question, I try to add as many lines one by one line, but could not draw.

    application:https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=70785:1:130100846235621:ADD_ROWS:NO:

    Details of the workspace: ram_r & d

    username/password: test/test

    Hi rihab,.

I try to enter the empno in the 1st column

You must use APEX_ITEM. TEXT to make your editable empno.

Editing your app and now you can change the value.

I think you have some trigger on empno auto generate the empno, who first then remove your value will be inserted.

Also create a validation to check the unique number of the employee.

and another question, I try to add as many lines as a rank but could not draw.

You cannot add more than one column at a time according to your current code.

First, you must present the new line, and then you can add the new line, you can't add more than one line at a time.

    Hope this helps you,

    Kind regards

  • 15-p248ne Pavilion: Pavilion 15-p248ne heating question

    Hello

The laptop runs with 30-35 ° C temperature on idle, but when you play a game for an hour for example Counter Strike GO, the CPU temperature gets to 92 C. is this normal?

I use a software called HWmonitor to show the time.

92 is hot but not deadly. I had a similar HP with 850 M graphics laptop and it got hot, too, as around 90 c. The fan sounded like a Jet at take-off engine, but it has never been unstable or artifacted or whatever it is. They are designed to take up to about 100 ° C. I make sure that the air flow is good, raise the back of the laptop. Keep the vents in fan blown. Not much more you can do other then he underclock a bit. If you go into the profiles of power you can set the State of the CPU max 99 or 98 percent and it really helps and is not something, you see. This is essentially what happens when you run it on battery. It is in a mode that declocks the CPU for energy savings.

1 year warranty, 810, Acer w3 expired, the Tablet is showing heating questions now, close the camera back and after a while to the touch stops working, touch works fine on reboot and compressed is cold. When the Tablet is connected to a network to the touch stopped working earlier than when not connected.

to solve this problem:-J' I reset the windows. which increased the length of time in which the touch works but always to the touch stops working after a while.

I disassembled the Tablet and found that the part that is overheating is memory [h9tknnnbpdma].

What shoul I do, what I need to change the digitizer, software or any better solution?

    resolved:

the problem was solved when I disconnected the cables of the digitizer and then reconnected.

  • Portege R500 - CD/DVD drive no longer works

Does anyone found a resolution to this?

Like David, my DVD Multidrive on my R500 abruptly arrested recently - I can open/close the player, but he does not appear in Windows Explorer as a disk is valid. Do not think that I have nothing installed on the machine.

Interestingly, I never really use the DVD player. Indeed, because of all the * heat * questions, I used to "Power Off" of the device, via the DVD icon in the system tray (i.e. option enabled me to Power on / off the unit). So while the power was OFF, it's cold the machine, and so the fan was rarely on.

Now that my computer no longer recognizes the drive, this icon it simply shows that disabled, no possibility to the power on/off switch, and this noisy fan is almost always on. In addition, because it seems that the machine tries to recognize the drive subject time at startup, all re-start, reboot the machine now takes a few minutes to start...

For the optical drive firmware update help? Or is there some other fix?

    Hello

    > but my Portege R500 CD/DVD drive has stopped working the next day, I had attached an external CD - RW drive for me to burn discs. Maybe it did disable my built-in drive?
    This could be the key;
Try to access the Device Manager and remove the CD/DVD player listed and all USB host controllers and USB root hub.

    Again, restart the laptop.
After new check restart if the CD/DVD drive has been recognized again.

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

This error (7th) is usually a driver problem and display adapter (video) driver is the most suspicious if
It could be others. Antivirus/antispyware/security programs, major software and hardware (heat)
questions can also cause the error. When you get to the section of the driver to use the Troubleshoot utility my
generic methods in the next message and then return to the if necessary troubleshooting tool.

Have you recently added hardware or drivers updated? Don't forget to look in Control Panel - Windows
Updates to see if all drivers have been updated it. Other donor opportunities include the antivirus/anti-
    spyware/security programs.

When you get to the pilot and sections of the memory of the troubleshooter check the following message to
update drivers and memory test and then return to the troubleshooter if necessary.

    BCCode: 7F 0x0000007E

    Cause

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug control is a very common bug control. TO
interpret, you must identify which exception has been generated.

    Common exception codes are:

0xc0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION indicates a memory access violation has occurred.
For a complete list of exception codes, see the Ntstatus.h file located in the inc directory
the Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).

    Solve the problem
If you do not have to debug this problem, you must use certain basic troubleshooting techniques.

Make sure you have enough disk space.
If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the
Reference of the manufacturer for driver updates.
    Try changing video cards.
Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS.
Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.
If you plan to debug this problem, you may find it difficult to get a stack trace. Parameter 2
(the address of the exception) must identify the driver or function that caused the problem.

If the exception code 0 x 80000003 occurs, a hard-coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but the system
has been launched with the /nodebug switch... This problem should occur infrequently. If it occurs repeatedly,
Make sure that a kernel debugger is connected and the system is booted with the/debug switch.

In case of exception code 0 x 80000002, the trap frame provides additional information.

If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following questions:

Hardware incompatibility. Make sure all new hardware that is installed is listed in the
List of Microsoft Windows Marketplace tested products.
Service system or driver faulty device. A service driver or defective peripheral system can be
responsible for this error. Hardware problems, such as the incompatibilities of the BIOS, memory, conflicts
and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.
If a driver is listed by name in the bug check message, disable or remove that driver. Disable
or remove drivers or services that have been recently added. If the error occurs during startup
sequence and the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use safe
Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the system startup procedure
in Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file.

If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error may be a third remote
control program. If this software is installed, you can remove the boot of the computer service
by using the Recovery Console, and then by removing the offending system service file.

Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the
device or the driver that generated the bug check 0x7E.

You can also disable memory cache BIOS may try to resolve the error. You should also
Run the diagnostics of material, especially the scanner memory, which provides the manufacturer of the system.
For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

The error that generates this message may occur after the first reboot during Windows Setup, or
Once the installation is complete. A possible cause of the error is lack of disk space for installation and system
BIOS incompatibilities. For problems during the installation of Windows that are associated with the absence of disc
space, reduce the number of files on the disk drive hard target. Find and delete any temporary
the files that you do not have to have files hidden Internet, backup application and .chk files files that
contain fragments of file saved to disk scans. You can also use another hard drive with more drive
free space for the installation. You can solve the problems of BIOS by upgrading the version of the system BIOS.

  • Get the Bluescreen 0x0000007E error code during the installation of the drivers

Original title: blue screen during the installation of the drivers...

Hello microsoft community. I had a problem about Windows 7.

I am currently using an Acer Aspire, and my internet drivers won´t just install.
The following happens: when you install the driver in my computer properties, it will say that it was not possible to install it.
When you use the .exe installer, it will go straight to a blue screen, the same phenomenon occurs when you try to use the .inf via installation drive of W7.
    The error code is:
    STOP: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0x00000000, 0x8B3831C0, 0x8B382DAQ)
No message like: ERR_Something appeared, just a bunch of text and a STOP code.
My wireless card is an Atheros ARB597.
Ironically, nothing bad happens during the execution of a distribution such as Ubuntu Linux, the network works fine.
The only BONE observed to have problems is W7, well, it's never happened before...
Oh, and the blue screen is noticed, sometimes appear when the wireless led lights up (what it means when the wireless wins a connection with Windows), when this happens, the driver will install, but a yellow triangular symbol with an exclamation mark appears on the driver, the net still does not
Also, I have extracted the minidump and the .xml generated by the crash, if it helps. I can post

    Hi Mary,

Note: make a backup of all your data on an external drive before you perform an upgrade in-place, as this may result in loss of data.

  • Windows 7 error Stop: 0x0000007E (0xFFFFF8001347FA1, 0xFFFFF880009A9258, 0xFFFFFFFFC000001D, 0xFFFFF880009A8AB0)

Every time I restart my computer, I get the blue screen of death (the title of this post is the error since the last restart code failed.  System Restore does not work every time.  Last known good configuration does not work.  Usually, I just have to restart the computer several times until something finally works.

The accidents began to occur in February after a Windows Update (not sure one).  A few days before that I had removed McAfee from the computer and installed Kaspersky, that came with my computer when I bought on Black Friday. I think it's probably one of those two things, the origin of the problem, but I have no idea what to do.

I restart my computer several times during and after the installation of Kaspersky and all seemed well until the update.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

When you have installed Kaspersky and uninstalled McAfee you probably went from the stove in
the fire. Franky, I would ditch as well in favor of Avast or MSE which are much more compatible. See
My recommendations in a message below.

Download and SAVE replacements but do not install before you delete these.

Download - SAVE - go to where you put these UNZIP if necessary - just right-click on - RUN AS ADMIN-
    RESTART after each.

    McAfee removal tool
    http://service.McAfee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?ID=TS100507

    Kaspersky removal tool-
    http://USA.Kaspersky.com/support/home/anti_virus/208279463/?search=remove

    =========================================================

Since you have a complex scenario here is what I would try to do.

Start mode safe mode using F8 as you start or do in regular windows when you can access.

Use a System Restore Point before you removed McAfee and installed Kaspersky. This should
also remove the influence of the issue of the possible update.

How to do a system restore in Windows 7
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html

Then I would run the tool to remove McAfee as above and install Avast and MSE.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If subsequently, you have a problem to update or you want to manually - control panel - configuration
Updates - left superiors change settings - set to download and inform you. Once you're of course updates
are no longer a problem, you can reset to automatic.

If you need to remove an update - on right lower Installed Updates - uninstall.

Be sure to run the SFC and CheckDisk using the methods listed below.

  • Question about heat on Satellite P200-144

    Hello

I have a problem with the heat of my laptop. My laptop can become very hot and you can leave your hand there for another 20 seconds. If I'm under full load the processor gets up to time of 85 c. When idle, it is 50 - 55 c.

Is something wrong ith my machine or not?

    Thank you
    Neo-Tech

    Hello

Last week, I saw the P200 in the computer store. This laptop very nice and powerful s.

    Regarding your question.

    > If I'm under full load the processor gets up to time of 85 c. When idle, it is 50 - 55 c.
In my opinion, this is not unusual. If the high performance programs such as games or 3D-video applications are running on the laptop, the whole appliances as the CPU, GPU and HARD drive must ride with a maximum yield and produce a lot of heat!

As far as I know, the cooling modules are placed on the left and this side is hotter as a laptop. That s ok because the warm air must be exhausted!

Note: Don't use the laptop in bed or on the lap, but still on the table. Furthermore it is important to have sufficient free space around the laptop to get good air circulation costs.

Hope I could clarify your question ;)

    Concerning

  • My Lenovo laptop farm questions of heat to the bottom/huge holes of fan

Issues of enormous heat on the cooling fan of the holes just before closing down.  This is the case for the last month a WHEN

    1. I have run essential security in fullscan mode

    2. while downloading NVIDIA GeForce driver download

In short, at any time when the CPU is very hot.

WINDOWS you fret not about that. I restart the computer. And WINDOWS tells me just START WINDOWS NORMALLY. I HAVE RUN Security Essentials, Windows Defender, Anti-spyware program from Microsoft.  I have the worst fears.

Watch this video. It will show you how to remove the cover back which gives direct access to the fan...

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=VDs55qQMYps

Clean the fan before anything else. Until you eliminate the overheating problem, the computer will continue to crash, most corrupt the operating system and makes it more difficult to deal with other issues. Blow compressed air in the side air intakes and catch everything that comes out of the fan blades...

It is also possible that your Wi - Fi card is affected by the heat inside the casing.

When you have the stabilized machine, try removing malware and unwanted...

First, go to control panel > programs and features and remove anything which looks suspicious, as for example everything that includes the 'register', or makes reference to accelerate what either, or that pertains to "search for and/or protect or mentions of 'good'."

    Then, uninstall all toolbars...

Then, run Disk Cleanup to rid the system of temporary Internet files. These can seriously slow down a Malwarebytes scan.

    Then run Malwarebytes. http://www.Malwarebytes.org/

Time of installation, make sure that you do not check the box to install the trial PRO version...

    How to use Malwarebytes

Follow-up to the ADW cleaner...  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/

Do NOT click on the GREEN download button because it will bring only sadness. Use the BLUE
    button just below.

Then, if you're using IE, go to tools > manage addons > the search engine tab and remove each search engine, with the exception of Google and Bing. You will need to set google or Bing as default before you can remove ALL the others...

If the machine still has malware issues review through programs and features in case you
missed something and then run Malwarebytes and ADWCleaner...

If everything looks good, download and reinstall the video driver from the Lenovo Web site...

  • Question of heating/fan HP a1132n

I added 2 HDD in my PC and it runs a little hot.

Can I put the case fan to help?

I don't know what the current fan specifications are so, how do I know what to upgrade to?

    Thoughts?

Now that we are talking on the same PC (your title of the thread was confusing when you told me what CPU is installed), it's easier.

    Your time are very good.

For your CPU's maximum operating temperature is 62 C.

With a temp max recorded 50 ° C, the temperatures are well below normal operating temperatures.

If you want it to be even more cool, you could install a cooler of H2O.

I use a cooler Corsair H70 with my Phenom II 965 of B.E. on the motherboard ASUS Crosshair IV for the desktop Gaming PC I'm typing this on.

I always put my phone on charge when its battery is 10% and after half hour n when I hold my phone its still hot from the back so my question is that much heating of the phone during a load is ok, or there is something with the phone, for which he becomes hot while on the pricing of the side back?

    Hello

It may be normal for your iPhone to become warm when charging. Outside acts as a surface for cooling, heat transfer inside the camera of the iPhone to the cooler air outside.

Don't forget to follow all Apple security and handling guidelines, including:

If you fear that your iPhone gets hotter it should do, I suggest you contact Apple technical support or visit a Genius Bar or the service provider authorized Apple in order to have your iPhone and power accessories audited and, if recommended by Apple, served:
