Data Recovery HP once recovery

I moved my 'once' HP on a USB key and on an external HARD drive data recovery. Is there a way to make these bootable data again?

Thank you

Hi there @Brotocol,

Thank you for joining the Forums HP's Support and welcome! It is a great place to ask questions, find solutions and get help from others in the community! I read your post on the Forums of HP Support. I wanted to join you and help! I understand that you had the recovery of data on a USB key, put it on another hard drive and you want to know if you can take on this hard drive again.

Due to software licenses, only a set of recovery disks can be created. This means that you could have done a copy USB or CD/DVD of it only. There is no way for you to get off the other hard drive to use it now.

You will need toget a USB HP recovery disc or HP recovery disks. Please follow the provided document and follow the steps to order recovery media if you need.

Please let me know if I answered your question by clicking the "Thumbs up" if the troubleshooting in this post steps solves the problem for you please click on the button "Accept as Solution" . This will allow to the others is that present the same problem a solution also. If you need assistance, please let me know to publish again. Could you please include your model number (How can I find my model number or product number?) also?

Thank you!

Have a great day!

  • data recovery 1.2 only supports 2 destinations at once

I started with vdr1.1 and had 3 installation of destinations (due to the limit of 256 GB), 2 were databases shared (from physical disk 1 500gig) and 1 was a network share.

I installed the unit version 1.2 to version 1.1 of 'upgrade '.

the mount on the part of network went well and automatically mounted 1 the datstores, but I can climb is no longer the third destination, a warning window

presents itself. indicating the unit of data recovery is no longer supports more than 2 destinations both...

Right now I can't do anything while I wait for the integrity check. (looks like it will take hours)

    so

    My questions are:

can I move those jobs to other databases without creating new jobs?

Can I set up another new device to use this database?

Could I "extend" a data to another store

Any other recommendations would be useful

VMware has always said not more than 2 destinations, but they did not restrict it.

    now they do looks like.

However, there is some good news here.  VMWARE now allows up to 10 devices VDR vCenter Server and you can switch between them from the vdr plugin.  so you can set up 2 separate devices vdr with 2 destinations, which allows you to spread your load of deduplication on several hosts.

now I have 2 setting up devices vdr with 2 vmfs3 vmdk depupe stores and will perform tonight my initial backups.  wish me good luck.

p.s. I didn't have much luck upgrading my 1.1 restore points, I thought that it's probably just better start fresh... you can keep the vmdk files if you have the room incase you have to perform a restore, just not config in the new vdr, or mount them.

    just a suggestion.

  • G61-406SA: dead laptop data recovery

My portable fuel not up - quite dead.  I tried the Hard Reset, but that has no effect.  I suspect that it's cheaper to replace that repair, but I would at least get the data on the hard drive.   (The spec says it's a 250 GB SATA hard drive).

Yes, I normally have a backup plan, but I didn't do it while I was traveling so I lost 2 weeks of work.  I have 2 questions:

    1. is there a way to check if the HD is still OK?  I can't find instructions on how to even find and even less to remove it.

    2. If I peut to work, what have people found is the best way to retrieve the data?  Data recovery services charge an arm and a leg, so I prefer to do it myself if possible.

    Hello

If it is a mechanical problem with the drive, you can sometimes have a 'window' where she will be exploited before freezing (you can get an indication if the player starts to get hot very quickly), but it is worth considering if you are unable to get all the data at once: I recently pulled data on a HARD drive where the player would only run for 10 minutes at a time that was almost as exciting as watching paint dry!

  • Full VM data recovery or just snapshots?

    Hi people,

I'm really in doubt on this subject.

I started a job to backup with approximately 20 virtual machines, and after a while, when it finished I checked the ocupied backup size. Then I surprised because the size of the entire backup was only 64GB, and the storage space total occupied by all virtual machines is about 1 TB.

So, how can I do a full backup vm?

Example/Question: If I lost the entire data store where my vm running (one really disaster), I can restore my vm with data recovery (with backups stored in the other data store)?

    Kind regards

    sm4rtins.

I don't know what help I can be, because my main experience with VDR is full of episodes of frustration. It could have been a reasonable product, but it seems to be deliberately crippled, and although version 2 is much more stable than the 1.x version (we meet only a few points of restore damaged about once a month or more, and not twice a week), it's always make us nervous.

The only thing I would say is that we use fast SAN storage for destinations. VDR doesn't seem to be sensitive to the speed of disk I/O, and my assumption is that we get a restore point damaged when the disk i/o on the SAN is high (the SAN is shared with about 40 virtual machines and several physical servers that use for cluster storage databases). We do not have the data to back up this hypothesis (still trying to get a handle on how I'd get I/O stats to prove), but I don't see what it might be (other than the product being simply bugged, which might be the case).

Could you move your store of destination from NFS to a fast SAN, just to see if the error rate?

  • Deduplication before vSphere VMware data recovery 4

    Hi people,

I decided to give a try to the Vmware Data Recovery product. I have recently updated our 3.5 ESX to vSphere 4. I installed the plugin for recovering data and the device, and I think that it does not work as it is supposed to, but I have a question.

I read the documentation about the product to recover data and on page 8 of the admin guide, there is a note on the optimizations not applied to virtual machines created with vmware vSphere products 4.

I vmotioned my machines windows and upgarded their vmware tools and equipment of 7 virtual machine. I was wondering these machines were created with ESX 3.5 and now that I've migrated to vSphere 4, doesn't that mean that deduplication will not take place with data recovery products when I'm in my data store backup? or am I misunderstanding this?

    Thank you.

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Once you upgrade older VMS v4 to v7 hardware virtual machine, then they are the same.  Discover the answer of amina in this discussion.

  • Launch of the VI Client on XP SP3 after VMware data Recovery installation call 10 times a Microsoft Script Editor!

    Hello

I give a try to VMware Data Recovery. So I installed the plugin on my XP SP3 computer.

But since then, everytime I lauch VI client to step «Discover plugins...» ', it asks me to choose a debugger (with a unique choice of Microsoft Script Editor) and I must decline 10 times before it will work eventually. VMware support told me to install or reinstall my computer, but I'd rather have it run without a reinstall.

Someone at - it an idea on how to solve this problem?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Corrupted data recovery water Iphone 6

We know anyway to get data of an Iphone that does not turn on?

I am desperate to get my photos from my broken phone and a loan to pay for it, but I do not know if everyone can do?

The photos I want are not saved on icloud to bring from the phone itself are the only way.

However, it was damaged more than a month there are water and did not put in operation since

    Thank you

The bottom line is not. You can pay a ton of money for a service of data recovery, but it is useless with the encryption using the iOS and the iPhone with your data. All what they will recover is meaningless strings of gibberish, not files and with no way to decipher gibberish it's worthless.

Sorry, but that the data is finished now.

  • Impossible to get a HD data recovery to set up

Due to my iMac HD dying, and my backup default HD before I could recover, I had to have the backup disk recovered to a (expensive) data recovery service. The HD, they gave me with the backup Time Machine recovered is in the format exFat. In the Terminal, I could see the following information about this. Disk utility, he sees, and the mount button is activated. But it will not rise. Any ideas?

    / dev/disk1 (external, physical):

    #: NAME SIZE TYPE IDENTIFIER

    0: GUID_partition_scheme * TB 5.0 disk1

    1: Microsoft Reserved 134,2 MB disk1s1

    2: Microsoft data base CASE3020 5.0 TB disk1s

See if it mounts on a Windows PC.

  • Slow response from phone to monitor data recovery

hhaving problems with my app Apple Watch (watch OS 2.2) of the iPhone data recovery 6 (iOS 9.3.4). When I click on various watch apps - FaceBook Messenger, Messages, etc., they seem to take forever to recover data. I tried to restart watch it and iPhone without any improvement.

If I remove the applications from the watch and then reinstall them this solves the problem for a short time.

    Ahy suggestions?

    Hello

For best performance of your devices, make sure that both Bluetooth and Wi - Fi are enabled on your iPhone (and keep them permanently active).

Also, make sure that you have installed the latest versions of all applications (on your iPhone: App Store > updates). To install updates for the associated Apple Watch applications also automatically, select automatic App install (on your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > General > App Install).

It can help to disable the twinning and re - pair your watch. The app shows on your iPhone takes a backup of your watch automatically when the disparity with the app choose to restore from backup during the whole upward. Most of the data and settings will be restored, with a few exceptions (for example cards Pay Apple, access code):

In the future, notes that new arrivals under watch OS 3 - software update that is should be out this fall / Fall - include much faster loading of your favorite applications, including applications to launch immediate up-to-date information.

  • What is the cable of data recovery?

With my flame came a wire called 'data '. What is the difference with a normal Micro USB cable? Is it connected differently?

I noticed that when I connect to my flame using a standard Micro USB cable, then it behaves funny. I saw him restart spontaneously, and also saw him plug and unplug several times. With the cable of data recovery, connections appear to be stable, but I wonder why. The Keon has worked well with a standard Micro USB cable.

    Hi Fekle,

I'm not sure what the difference is in the cable of data recovery. For me, when I use this cable to recharge, my camera flame has strangely, sometimes requires me to remove the battery before restarting the unit.

I had written to T2M asking how to use the wire and this was their response:

Please follow the instruction below to rescue the phone.

Firstly, we send a Recovery Cable with RED label with Flame phone, which is placed outside of Flame package. Please make sure that you have it.

Secondly, please download Emergency rescue tool from http://cds.w5v8t3u9.hwcdn.net/Flame%20Rescue%20Tool.zip, unzip it, run Flame.exe and follow the attached PPT instruction to start the rescue.

  • SSD data recovery

I spilled a glass of wine on the keyboard of my MAC BOOK PRO.  The SSD (1 TB) hard drive will not start.  I need to find a data recovery service to recover about 3 000 photos from disk.  Someone at - it services provider?

SSD drives are not as recoverable as readers with magnetic rotating media. If the liquid got inside the car, maybe it's not recoverable.

But the models of MacBook pro of 2015 should allow no liquids on the motherboard. He may not start for a much simpler problem aside, like a short circuit in the keyboard.

If it were mine, I'd get another drive in an external enclosure and install Mac OS on it and see if YOUR files, (not more than 350,000 files comprising Mac OS) are recoverable. (The Mac can be installed on and boot from any drive appropriate, internal or external.)

  • SSHD Toshiba MQ01ABD100H - Firmware / data recovery problem

    Hello!
I have the mission critical data on a MQ01ABD100H of Toshiba to SSHD which was in a Sony VAIO for less than one year who decided to stop working from one day to the next. All I care about is the data. A professional data recovery company apparently reputable rated player, told me that it was a "mechanical failure", said they could recover the data and gave me a quote of $1500.00. A week later I was told something different; They said the platters and heads seem to agree and the problem seems to be on the circuit board and/or flash drive, and they didn't know how to recover the data. They told me that they have consulted Toshiba too. I asked them if they replaced the pcb Board and they would not tell me or answer questions more. I have the drive in my hands and am looking for options. I really believe that my data is recoverable if the trays are okay, right?

Here's what I know for sure; the bios of the machine of Sony VAIO Windows 8.1, correctly recognizes the drive. However, it does not start and is not accessible or recognized with cmd prompt Windows 8.1 UEFI options. The drive is not encrypted. After putting the reader into an external enclosure and its connection to another Win8.1 machine, the player starts with no extreme sounds of survey. Slowly, she clicks a few times as if the heads are looking, but then calms down and keeps running quietly. I have installed a Data Rescue PC3 software that recognizes the drive and its attributes correctly but can't read or clone. I have the Partition Wizard software mini tool, which recognizes the drive correctly, but shows the drive as being unreadable.

That's what I'm trying to do. I'm looking for a donor on mine, with the same model drive, date, firmware, site, number of PCBS, hard drive code.

Now, here is my unknowns and I appreciate everyone a preview with these. If I change the pcb edge myself, I need still more likely transfer the firmware for the new Board of Directors, even if I try it without doing it. I don't know where the firmware is stored, is there a rom chip or is it stored in the Flash Player. I'm not certain if, with this model of SSHD, if this can be done with replacement of the chip or the software? If it is stored on the Flash drive how is available independent of the HHD part? Must the reader Flash itself be harvested? But what happens if the flash player is bad, how can the firmware ever be recovered? Any ideas anyone? ... other than myself shot in the head, I'm kidding. I think that this may be a common problem that will often not resolved.

I have the drive in my hands and am looking for options. I really believe that my data is recoverable if the trays are okay, right?

I am not an expert but if applications cannot access the data and cannot read data from the SSHD then you will need professional help...

I found the storage Toshiba page where you could get details on this SSHD

    Mate good luck...

  • Satellite A100 - hard drive data recovery

    Hello

I recently tried to help a friend for his Toshiba Satellite A100 data recovery, died on this screen.
I thought this would be a task simply remove the hard drive and put a HARD drive caddy and attaching it to another computer.

    This doesn't seem to work.
Can I put the hard drive in the computer and I can hear start the computer to the top and was able to see it with a LCD display. I was able to delete the data in this way, so we're safe.

My question is why do we seem to remove the disc and see on another computer?
I guess it must be an interface or format the laptop can be used for the recovery section and cannot therefore be seen as a normal drive.

If I could not delete the data because say the motherboard is dead. Is it possible to be able to see the data on another computer.

    E-mail: [[email protected]]

    > My question is why do we seem to remove the disc and see on another computer?

Of course you can do if you want to use a symbol external USB SATA controller (external HARD drive) you should be able to connect to another computer.
But if the HARD drive is faulty, it will not work.

  • Satellite L850: Drive HARD Firmware problem prevent data recovery

Am a little confused and need a simple explanation
My HDD L850 died under warranty and was sent to the people of data recovery to recover the data before entering new drive under warranty.

I am told that my hard drive has a fairly unique combination of firmware and the drive that prevents the recovery until they get this firmware. Now 6 weeks after it happened I stll wait.

Someone in support could explain to me in simple terms, why this firmware is the problem cause and so far can only be obtained by your partner data recovery company?

    Hello

I think that you will here get a correct answer, why the people of data recovery needs of these packages since it is a user forum.

But to my knowledge all the 2.5 hard drives and SSD drive supports various firmware.
These firmware tells the hardware how to interact with the operating system.

It seems that people in data recovery needs these packages in order to get access to the HARD drive, and I presume, without the compatible firmware, it is not possible to recover the data.
