Help decompression of images

I recently received some photos (jpg) in an e-mail that have been compressed using Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I was able to unzip them, so that they are currently just miniature size. Is it possible to recover to full size?

Once the compressed photo is saved and Picture Manager
closed there is no way to recover the original size. If all goes well,
the user who has compressed the stored uncompressed photos
copies of the originals.

The following excerpt comes from the Help.file Picture Manager.

=============================================

You can undo compression by clicking Undo Compress Picture
on the Edit menu. Compression changes will be not saved until the
explicitly save you. You can save your compression changes
immediately after their completion, or at any time before
closing Picture Manager.

  • Help! The images on my site are moving...

    Hello world

    Please enlighten us on this subject, I am experiencing. After the publication of my site. I pulled upward on my iphone and a majority of my images were scrambled. Image displayed in preview in Design view, it looks perfect. Help, please...

    For a fluid design works on a phone, you no more to define your minimum page width wide enough for that all of your content in resizing as small as possible fits, or if you need revamp or change your content such that it fits in what is your minimum page width.

    In the case of this particular page, there are items that don't/can't be resized smaller than a width of the page on 755px. They start at less than that coming out of the right side of the page.

    Mobile browsers to zoom out to view the entire width of the content of your page. So the page itself is resized down to ~ 380px together, but the content stopped at 755, then the mobile browser zoom out to display the complete width of content and you get what is in your screenshot.

    Set your minimum page to 755 size and live with how the phone everything is changing down there (probably too small), or add a breakpoint and reorganize your content so design works in the width of a phone.

  • Help adding an image to PDF with buttonImportIcon

    Hi, hoping someone can help me with what I am pulling my hair out.

    I create a button using the addfield as follows

    var cFileName = "somepathhere/filename.pdf ';

    var oFld = this.addField ("ButtImage", "buton", this.pageNum, [222,417,363,496]);

    If (oFld! = null)

    {

    oFld.buttonPosition = position.iconOnly;

    oFld.borderStyle = border.s;

    oFld.textColor = color.black;

    oFld.lineWidth = 1;

    }

    try {}

    MyImportIcon (this.getField ("ButtImage"), cFileName);

    } catch (e) {}

    Console.println ("error importing Signature Image")

    }

    then I have a separate file js MyImportIcon.js

    var MyImportIcon = app.trustedFunction (function (oFld, cPath)

    {

    app.beginPriv ();

    If (cPath! = null)

    {

    oFld.buttonImportIcon (cPath, 0);

    }

    on the other

    {

    oFld.buttonImportIcon ();

    {

    app.endPriv ();

    });

    When this code all the races I get no error in the console, a button is created in the pdf file but it is empty and no icon is set.

    I am running Acrobat X Standard.

    Thanks in advance for your answers.

    Make sure that you use a path independent of the device for the file.

  • Please HELP convert LOGO IMAGE VECTOR.

    I'm a slow learner that photoshop is not quite the place to create logos, with your help, so can everyone, anyone, please help me. I do not understand how to get the image in illustrator and convert them into a vector image and keeping all the effects, like the sharp edges in the image. Any help is greatly appreciated. In addition, please keep in mind, I'm not at all familiar with illustrator and was hoping that this forum would be a great help. Thanks a lot for your help in advance!EC-D1-rev4.png
    God bless you!

    I would like to offer a few points to help adapt to your way of thinking a bit...

    Logos are better drawn into vectors and vector illustrations can serve as a basis for various applications of the brand. In general, a form of logo like the one you have here has a solid black fill only. This is the logo of.

    Using this base, drawn in scalable vectors, you can start designing variations of color, effect decorated versions, etc., but the basis of single-color vector remains to be the origin of the identity, by providing a starting point for all applications of the brand. Because it is vector art, it can be rasterized to any size appropriate for a given application. Example: Suppose that you need to print the logo with the bevel metal brushed texture and chisel edge (effects, better made in a raster like Photoshop application) on a billboard, or on the side of a truck trailer. You must rasterize the basis vector of single-color to the right size and resolution (specifications provided by the printer), and then apply your effects hatched; (this, as opposed to struggling to reproduce the effects of rasterization in vectors, like you said is a goal of yours). There is nothing wrong to create a logo in pixels when this is done correctly this way.

    There is no real 'conversion' raster to vector. You will need to re - draw (manually trace) the forms using the pen of Illustrator. It is the largest and the most basic of Illustrator skills you can develop, and it takes some practice. Then type "how to use the pen in Illustrator" into your search engine preferred to get a long list of tutorials... and be patient.

  • Need help to place images on separate layers

    I'm a novice at Javascript, but I tried to learn. I have a project where I need to place several images from a folder on separate layers (same page) in a model. I tried to edit the "ImageCatalogue" script in InDesign to disastrous results. On another thread someone has been kind enough to give me a short script 'Objects to layers', written by Kasyan Servetsky. This has been very useful, but not exactly for me so now I'm from scratch. I played with the following code tries to make it work. This is not, and I'm frustrated. I keep changing this line but he comes back as "not defined":

    myImage.place (newLayer);

    Can someone tell me please in the right direction? My code is too simple? The end comments are that my list of wishes of Add-ons should never get these layers work.

  • Help with the images to be copied

    Hello

    Thank you to spend some time to help me with this problem. IM new in the Flash world

    I'm actually designing a website and need to copy images from one page to another. The problem is that after pasting images in another place I don't seem to be able to change it without going through the change in original frame. Is there anyway I can copy images (animation, buttons etc.) and still be able to edit them without going through the change of original?

    My intention is that both have multiple pages with the same basic design but the slight modification on each page.

    Thank you

    You can change the objects in the images pasted regardless of the originals.  But if you double-click or otherwise go objects 'timeline', will you change all instances of that object, including the (s) on the original images.

    to remedy this, create duplicate objects and use the properties panel to switch the original copied with duplicates.  You can then change the duplicates without editing the original.

  • So frustrated! Need help positioning of image...

    Hi people...

    I'm learning CSS fitfully, and well I don't have a pretty good understanding on this subject. I hope someone can help me.

    I created this page and tried to place an image in the large 'essential' to the right of the slideshow area. It did not work, kept be moved elsewhere. Then I specified it as background image for this div instead... It looks fine in Firefox and Safari (I'm on a Mac), a colleague with Internet Explorer 7 on a PC however, it appears way down at the bottom of the page after the slide show

    I looked at all the ways to insert the image, but none of them work. I know I must be missing something very simple. Can anyone help?

  • Good afternoon - need help with two images

    Good afternoon

    First of all, I apologize if my English isn't the best but it is a translation.

    I am new to Photoshop and decided to ask for help here in the forum to try to solve a problem that I can't solve alone.

    I have a normal 2D image .jpg and have another .gif image is a logo rotating in 3D (I can export this logo in .swf or other format if the .gif is not in the correct format).

    I wanted to unite these two images, rely on image .jpg and .gif image over the base in run (revolves around logo) and the junction of the two images together for an image final (with the spining logo) to export.

    The final format, could be .jpg or .gif, or any other format.

    My question is if may be possible to do this with Photoshop or another program to form Adobe?

    Already thank you very much for your help.

    Best regards

    Davcorsil

    Alongside the Mylenium suggestion, you can do it in first (the Pro, or the Elements version), BUT you'd end up with an AV file and NOT a file 'image', as such.

    An additional step using a NLE (of Non-linear editing) would be that your animated GIF would work better, if it has been converted into file AV with Alpha for transparency. Then, like layers in Photoshop, one would put the image on the video from track 1, with the converted GIF AV file on video Track 2. Export to a format/CODEC selected AV. Fact. Don't forget, this exported file would be an AV file, NOT an image.

    Rather than use the animated GIF, I would rather choose export as a file of my 3D application AV. Most allow several formats/codecs. For material from SD (Standard definition), the ultimate choice would be DV - AVI Type II, using the MicroSoft DV CODEC, or on a Mac, like. MOV with the CODEC of Animation. In these cases, you want to export in million + colors. This + is important, because it will be the Alpha channel for transparency.

    Good luck

  • Help with importing images .raw and b + w filters

    I recently picked up a large number of b + w images.  With most of these images, I apply a red in the filter of the camera.  When I then import photos in lightroom 2.3 that a color version of my image is then made, without the red in camera of the filter I took photos with.  No one knows so as to restrict the lightroom changing .raw their version color images and show them that they have been taken.  If it's important I shoot with a Canon 1000 d.   Help, please!   Thank you.

    Lightroom does not take into account metadata settings that are what is applied when you are working with RAW and use the Canon picture Style settings.

    Those who apply to the format JPG, but not VINTAGE.  It's actually a feature, not a bug, because it is considered to give you more control by using the settings in Lightroom for Monochrome and apply red shades - more you could have always still the flexibility of manufacturing was if color printing you want, that you would lose if RAW applied the picture Style settings.  If it you shoot in RAW + Jpeg (or Jpeg only), bugs and provide JPEG images in LR, but I recommend to stick to RAW and applying the changes in Lightroom instead.

    Hello

    OK - you could not too with a normal balloon such that it will be the title by the browser.

    What you could do, however, is to add a SPAN tag within the A tag and use the CSS style to display it.

    On your page, under header HTML attributes, add in the following:

    <style type="text/css">
    a.linkMenu{
        position:relative; /*this is the key*/
        z-index:24; background-color:#ccc;
        color:#000;
        text-decoration:none}

    a.linkMenu:hover{z-index:25; background-color:#ff0}

    a.linkMenuspan{display: none}

    a.linkMenu:hover span{ /*the span will display just on :hover state*/
        display:block;
        position:absolute;
        top:-20px; left:20px; width:15em;
        border:1px solid #0cf;
        background-color:#cff; color:#000;
        text-align: center}
    </style>

    and then update the indicator has to include an INTERVAL that your ToolTip:

    <a .... class="linkMenu"><IMG ... ><span>Your tooltip goes here</span></a>

    Because the ToolTip is now based on the content of a SPAN tag, you can style it how you like and if you add in all the other tags that you need

    This is based on an example here: [http://hungred.com/2009/07/31/how-to/tutorial-simple-cross-browser-tooltip-css/] I've used myself
