• To help Dreamweaver CC 2014.1.1, when I select a set of paragraphs to turn into a list of definitions and select Format - lists - definition lists, I get the tags < dl > but do not get the < TD > or < dd > tags?

  I've used before in earlier versions of DW and it worked fin.  I tried tonight with CC 2014.1.1 or view creation or in codeview with the same results.  I choose the < p > tag text start at the tag < /p > final and then in the menu choose Format - List - list of definitions and get only the < dl > tags.  All this experience?

  This is how it works in CS6, too.  And it's not just for definition lists.  This is the result expected any list type that you use.   DW knows not where the DTs and DDs begin and end because you have highlighted an entire paragraph and asked DW format as a distribution list.

  I code my own definition of lists in general.  It is faster.

• Dreamweaver no longer opens. Error said "Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2014 has stopped working" and stops later.

  I use this software very well for about a year or two. Today I started to receive the error message in the title. I tried to delete the cache file, rename the config folder, delete the config folder. No luck. Also, I reinstalled during the previous installation that does not work yet. So I uninstalled, rebooted and then installed again. Even if the re-Setup seems to go well, when I run the application that I continue to make the same mistake. I also tried holding alt + ctrl + shift while launching the application. Nothing happens.

  I'm on a laptop 64 bit Windows 7. It is a working machine and my support to my company Department does not support for this application. I learned to communicate directly with Adobe. I don't have the full suite of CC. Just Photoshop and Dreamweaver.

  Any other ideas besides those that I mentioned, I tried already?

  If the license has expired? Is it possible for me to check that outside of the application because it will not open?

  Go to the main Adobe site and log in using your identification code Adobe select Manage account. And then under the Plans and products, select manage the Plan. He will tell you at the end of your subscription.

  Thanks for the screenshot. Yes, you are not on the updated version. You can get it from the creative clouds.

  Launch Adobe Creative cloud and go to the Apps section and install it from there.

  My experience is that you should not touch the style sheets that have been created by the system of FGL. Also, there is no need to copy and paste whenever it could disrupt the spoilsports. If you need to apply your own styles and then put them in a second stylesheet, that way if something goes wrong, you can always revert to the original.

  With the latest version of Dreamweaver CC 20141, FG authoring mode has been removed. That's why you can't see Code and Design for the FG pages but it is there for the pages not FG

  Dear all,

  We have Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2014 installed as part of a package of creative cloud on several computers running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit.

  Every time that you open the software, we are able to run through the introduction of 'demo', but when you get to the screen create new document get us an error 'Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2014 has stopped working' and have to close it.

  We have tested on several machines (the proper system specifications) with multiple users and it happens every time. I confirm that we have the latest version of DW CC 2014 installed and all Windows updates.

  Note: We con Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 and it works without problems, we are able to open a new document without problem.

  Any help would be appreciated!

  Please follow below steps-

  1. go to the registry entry.

  2. in the input register access HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Dreamweaver CC 2014 (or whatever that is version crashes for you) \Cloud synchronization preferences.

  3. change the value of the CCFirstLnchDlgShown key to TRUE.

  4. now start Dreamweaver and check if it still crashes and let us know the results.

  I'm no techie reading through all the suggestions was unhelpful but not gave the answer... or at least a response as I understand. At the end of the day, I used just a bit of common sense, after several more unsuccessful installation attempts after using the cleaner/adobe software tool, I decided that the problem is clearly a problem with permissions on the police, which is mentioned in the error. Thus, save the police on my desktop and restarted windows 7 in safe mode. This allowed me to remove the policy involved in the c:/windows/fonts folder that could not be done at boot windows normally because he was still "in use by another application."

  Once the police has been removed, I rebooted again, but this time in full rather than in safe mode and installed window Dreamweaver CC 2014 successfully mode.

  Thanks for all your help guys, I appreciate announce the links suggested... If only the simple instructions above is on the list of the Adobe troubleshooting pages, I could have done something more constructive with 4 hours of my life that I don't get return spent wasting my time fixing this!

  All of a sudden I can't connect to one of my BC sites in Dreamweaver CC 2014

  I get the error: "an FTP error occurred - cannot connect to the host." The remote host cannot be found. »

  I tried the following:

  1 disabled the firewall and tried to connect through DW. Did not help.

  2 boot safe mode with networking. Did not help.

  3. in the Manager Site Dreamweaver, Site for mysite configuration, password box is empty. I can manually enter and click on 'test' and it connects fine.

  4. when I leave the site manager and try to connect from the files tab and icon of the little plug, it does not work.

  5. we forget the password and sometimes white in a re-opening of the Site Manager.

  I just tested this question (of the BC point of view) and I think I understood what may be your problem - you have multiple sites defined in DW and some of them (those having the connection problem) do not belong to the Adobe Id of current user who is logged in DW.

  The new CC authentication system is synchronized between your installed applications of CC. For any operation that requires authentication, current CC authenticated account credentials are used - it is also why doe of information of the site DW SFTP connection not stores the password more.

  Workaround for this problem is to be registered for the DW with an Id Adobe user that is also stored in the settings of credentials SFTP site DW (BC) that you want to use.

  There are two approaches to this:

  1. change the current CC account that is signed in DW:

  -disconnection of DW (using the menu)

  -Connect with the Adobe Id which is the (partner) creator of the site

  -restart DW (this is important!)

  2. Add the Adobe Id account as an Admin user to the BC location:

  -Add the Adobe Id account that you use in DW and other CC apps as the administrator user on the site of BC (go to settings of the Site from the site Admin-> Admin users)

  -in DW, change the SFTP site connection settings (of the files Panel, double-click the drop-down menu display the site name and select servers, change the server list and simply replace the value of @adobe.com [myadobeId]of the user name field with the email in the current account of CC, which is signed in DW; you'll have something like) (: [myBCsite].worldsecuresystems.com/[myNewadobeId]@adobe.com/dw)

  -Save settings (skip the password)
