  As I said that the PC has Windows 8 on it. I'm not the biggest fan of Windows 8, so I contacted my friend to see if I could get his disc of windows 7. Without research, I installed Windows 7 by formatting my hard drive and the boot from USB it gave me who said he had a legitimate copy of windows.

  Namely, the copy is either torrented or something because I get a pop up every time I turn on my PC saying something along the lines of: "this copy of windows is not genuine".

  I'm terrible sorry if this means that this copy isn't legitimate and I still want to get help.

  I wonder how to return to windows 8, since I don't have the disc because my PC did not come with it.

  All I have is the product key for windows 8.

  I'm basically asking how can I get rid of this copy of windows 7 and just install windows 8 return.
  I tried to restore to the factory settings, but it says I need a disk, and as I said, all I have is the product key printed on the side of my PC.

  So please someone out there tell me what to do to get back to my LEGITIMATE windows copy, and again, I'm sorry if this copy I have is not legitimate. I didn't at the time.

  You can probably buy a key from Microsoft, but the best way would be to buy an OEM Version of detail for each home or Pro...

  I see the announced Home version on sale for only $80, and the Pro for $110...

  The above is the error I get when trying to get emails with attachments. I tried to disable Norton AV for email without success. If I move the email using Yahoo ATT to Spam then the rest of my emails without attachments can be received. If I move back mail in Inbox, I get the above error again.

I tried to uninstall photoshop and put it back. When I tried, I got a new error message that says "Successful Installation" but a patch has failed.

  1. Disable the windows firewall.
  2. Disable the antivirus.
  3. Go to AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater
  4. Rename to 1.0_OLD 1.0
  5. Creative cloud startup
  6. Reconnect
  7. Starting update
  8. Profit!

  First time here.  Relentlessly, I get 80070426 error when I try to download the latest urgent/updates Windows Update recommended.  This has happened for weeks.  I scanned with Malwarebytes & Avast... find scans nothing.  I saved and run mbam and avast to disc... still nothing is found.

  My windows preferences are defined on notify me when the urgency and recommended updates are available for download.  I passed this automatic download and prompt me to install updates to day... it doesn't matter... I still get the same error.  When I click search for updates, I get a MSG "windows update has encountered an unknown error."  When I go after "Get help with error," help Windows results pulled up to... "WindowsUpdate_Error_80070426" "WindowsUpdate_dt000"

  I even recorded my copy of windows again... I bought Sony computer with windows installed.

  I have the Sony support for these questions... but I really want to sit on the phone with someone who plays a standard solution... format that does not work... only for transfer to the expert support.

  I'd appreciate any help that can be provided to this forum.  Anyone? Ideas?

  2 have you installed third-party readers part?
  3. What is the format of the files you are trying to play?

  Follow these steps and check if they help.

  Step 1:

  I would have you readers of third party temporarily Uninstall and check if persists it to the question.

  Most likely you need codecs to play these files with Windows Media Player. I suggest looking up codec in the Internet that supports the file format, download and install them.

  Do you have MS Outlook installed on your computer?

  Windows mail import and export opportunities are limited to an Outlook .pst file or an Exchange Server mailbox. They are available only if MS Outlook is installed.
  If MS Outlook is not installed and you start an import or export action, the necessary support files are not present for Windows mail complete the operation. Then I suggest you to install Outlook temporarily and see if the problem is resolved.

  Follow the instructions below and check if the problem is resolved.

  1. reboot your computer, and then start Windows Mail.
  2. on the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. in the connection tab, click on edit to open the Internet Properties dialog box.
  4. in the tab programs, click on an application other than Windows mail e-mail in the e-mail list. Click on apply and then click OK.
  5. click OK again to close the Options dialog box.
  6. exit Windows mail and restart Windows mail.

  If this does not work, I suggest you upgrade to Windows Live Mail to import or export messages that may help you resolve the issue.
