• I was looking for where firefox downloads files from the web. Everything I can find is the download list window that has only a clear"" button.

  When I download a file from the web, I want to find it in the Windows Explorer window, but don't know where to look. (I use Windows 7 64 bit on an HP Pavillion laptop) Where is - this Firefox download files that it lists in its own small window of download, but you only allows 'Clear' the list, no copy or open, or move the file?

  go to the Tools Menu-> Options-> general-> downloads section-> select Radio button option 1 ' save files from "dialog box-> click the"Browse..."button "and from there you can find the exact folder hierarchy where a download was recorded recently.

  If you want to know when a download starts to download and where you want to save the download, performs the following steps:

  go to the Tools Menu-> Options-> general-> downloads section-> place checkmark on "Show the downloads window when downloading a file"-> check out of "close it when all downloads are finished"-> select Radio button Option2 'Always ask me where to save files'-> click OK.

  Check and tell if its working.

  Press the Alt (Cmd for Mac) key to display the Menu bar, then open view > toolbars and select menu bar, so it has a check mark.

  In addition to the suggestion of BurrWalnut you can see the methods below.
  
  Method 1.
  You may have set the taskbar to auto hide, check the settings below:
  a. Click Start and select Control Panel.
  now, (b) go to the menu bar of tasks and put in service and click on it.
  C. on the taskbar tab, check if there is a check mark next to auto-hide the taskbar.
  d. If there is remove it, then click on apply and then OK.
  
  Method 2.
  Please check if you are facing the same question when working in safe mode.
  a. restart your computer.
  b. when the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information tap the F8 on your keyboard key repeatedly until you are presented with the screen Windows 7 Advanced Startup Options.
  c. using the arrow keys, select the desired option of Mode without failure.
  d. press the Enter key on your keyboard to start in safe mode of Windows 7.
  e. when Windows starts and check if the problem still persists.

  If your Windows product key is not valid, if you don't have a Windows product key, or if you have lost the product key that came with Windows, you will need to buy a new one to activate Windows.

  I can't retrieve the bar of substantive tasks on my computer.  Lost the button START, programs, etc...  How can I get it back?

  Try to position the mouse to the bottom of the screen and see if you can click and drag the taskbar to a notch.  While you move the mouse, you should see a split bar, and if you click on that you can then move to the next level.

  This is the taskbar - move the mouse completely to the bottom of the screen to see if it appears.

  Right-click of the Start - Properties - taskbar - uncheck Hide tab key automatically the taskbar - check
  Lock the taskbar - APPLY / OK.

  My iPhone was stolen, and at the time wherever I tried to activate mode lost the phone was switched off or put in airplane mode. The phone is password protected, so I'm not worried that it be used necessarily. My question is if I remove cellular service in the phone (I need to buy a replacement for this issue at this stage) lost mode again will activate the next time, the phone is switched on if it has no cell service more?

  No, I don't think. If it has no service, the phone goes into lost mode, unless it turns or airplane mode is disabled.

• How to restore a full backup of the Server 2008 system that has been stored on a BitLocker Drive encrypted?

  I have a requirement to encrypt my server for transport off-site backups, so I'll try to store my backups to an external drive that is encrypted for BitLocker.  I am doing a test restore to a new drive to simulate a full system recovery, but I'm unable to unlock the drive encrypted with the backup of the prompt under system recovery options.

  I have confirmed that I can unlock the drive from a command inside the original Windows installation prompt using manage - bde.wsf and the recoverypassword, but the same command does not work from the command prompt during the recovery process (started from the installation DVD).  There is no error code, a single message that the recovery key did not work and administrator privileges may be required.

  When you try the same command from another server when connected to that drive, I got an error that can be informative, code 0 x 80310037, implying that the recovery key may not because of the FIPS compatible algorithms that are needed.

  I'm looking for something that isn't possible trying to store the complete system on a BitLocker encypted disk backups?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
