  • I can not install any application Windows store. incorrect time showing a time 0 * 80080008 another time 0 * 80072efe all time showing like this different type of error.

I can not install any application Windows store. incorrect time showing a time 0 * 80080008 another time 0 * 80072efe all time showing like this different type of error. first time using windows 8.1 but restore for windows 8. but problem still. How do reslove this problem.

    Hi Anish,

If you receive the error 80072efe or 80080008 when you use Windows Store, the cause may be an interruption of the connection between your computer and the Windows Update service.

Here are a few methods you can try to solve this problem.

Method 1: Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

Open and run the Windows Update Troubleshooter to fix the problem automatically.

Method 2: Run the troubleshooter for Internet connections.

Open the network troubleshooter utility by hitting at full speed in the straight edge screen, quilting search (or if you use a mouse, pointing to the top right of the screen, move the pointer of the mouse down and then clicking search), inbound to identify and repairin the search box, and then tapping or identify and repair network problems.

Method 3: Restart the Windows update service and check.

    a. press or press the Windows key + R, type services.msc and press ENTER.

    b. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or click continue.

    c. find the Background Intelligent Transfer Service and check the status.

    d. If the status is stopped, click Background Intelligent Transfer Servicesand then click Start menu.

    e. search Windows Update and check the status.

    f. If the status is stopped, click Windows Update, and then click Start menu.

    g. close Services.

Method 4: T emporarily disable the security software and verify.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  • Why I can not install SP1 in Windows XP version 5.1?

My Dell C840 Hardrive Laptop just died including the battery. I replaced them both. I put a larger HD-130 GB. I reinstalled the original version of Windows XP 5.1

After installation I downloaded Service Pack 2 and Service Pack 3. None of them move. Microsoft Helps - gave me a link to download the Service Pack 1a. I downloaded it, but in the midst of unpacking and installation, it stops and says the communication server with unresponsive. I still click on re - try and nothing happens. After several re - try with the same result, I get a dialog box with this message: ' the following error is produced so that the service pack 1 Setup attempted to download files of Service Pack 1 of the internet. " The server did not respond. If the error persists after that you clicked several times, go to the Windows XP Service Pack site and select "problems downloading the Service Pack" that will give you instructions on how to download a version of the Service Pack does not require an Internet connection during installation. " Found no solution on"download service pack issues. "

Because this Windows XP 5.1 worm has Internet Explorer 6 - Microsoft sites have errors on the page and IE always crashes. I tried to switch to IE 8, but it will not install and still the "Entry Point not found" error

When I click on "windows update". It brings me to this link: support.microsoft.com/kb/2497281/en-us. But none of the solutions on the page works. I tried all.

Believe it or not, I have 3 desktops (2 windows based and an Apple MacPro) and this laptop Dell Latitude C840 with windows XP version 5.1 (which module HD and the battery died and I replaced and am trying to load the windows original XP disc supplied with the notebook). I've done with computers for over 20 years. The only ones I had problems were windows-based computers. Never had any problems with Mac. I was hoping that modern Microsoft has improved. If this problem is solved so maybe they have. Does anyone have a solution?

OK, it's first of all, 'Mac', not 'MAC '. It is an abbreviation of "Macintosh", not an acronym. MAC stands for Media Access Control. And you're crazy if you think that the updates of the system for Macs don't cause problems. Just visit the Apple Support communities.

There clearly something put on listening to the top with this machine more than just the hard drive and the battery. Works very well if you can, download SP2 and SP3 (you can ignore the SP1) machine, you know, then use an external hard drive or USB key to pass them to the affected machine and see if you can install.

  • How can I install IIS in Windows XP?

I bought a HP with Windows XP SP3 and now I want to install IIS.  However, the computer is not come with an installation CD.  Where can I get the files needed to enable the IIS application?

You will need to contact your computer manufacturer and ask their CD of Windows XP.

How to replace the missing software:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx/KB/326246

How to order HP Recovery discs for Windows Vista or XP
    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/document?LC=en&cc=us&DocName=c00810334&DLC=en

    Note:

    If you still have the SP3 file and its name is windowsxp-kb936929-sp3 - x 86 - enu.exe, and then create a folder in the root of C: and name it sp3, then run the following command: windowsxp-kb936929-sp3 - x 86 - enu.exe - x: c: \sp3

When finished extracting, there must be a c:\sp3\i386 that contains the extracted files. Now you should be able to use Add/Remove Programs, Windows components to add IIS and point to the i386 folder. (If you have another folder i386 in the root of C:, you can get rid of it (unless its a SP3 i386, to which you can install IIS from it)).

  • computer does not update have hp windows 7 service pack 1

If looking for updates to hang on a current installation,

Be sure and go to uninstall a program and see which Microsoft Net framework you have installed.

4.5.2 is more consistent to have installed,

    https://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=42642

Switch your windows update setting to never check the updates temporarily

    Restart the machine

You can try and install the latest client update manually let your update settings to never check for updates until you install it.

    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/3138612

Then you download this from your download folder run from there.

    https://TechNet.Microsoft.com/library/security/MS16-039?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

    Download the x 86 for 32-bit or x 64 for 64-bit

Install it and restart when prompted too after he did a search of stand-alone for updates that should not

take too long, it took all of 5 seconds, '' If '' windows update settings are turned on forever check

updates before running from the downloads folder.

    Once it installs and restarts

You can reset your updates affecting everything you had before default =...

    Then check the updates manually.

I think that the solution came from Softpedia and Joel_CS posted on this thread,

    http://News.Softpedia.com/news/Windows-Update-hanging-when-downloading-April-12-patches-502886.shtml

You must scroll down for Joel SC post threads, it is the last answer on this page,
