USB wireless network adapter has a label on it?  If so, what is the number of brand and model printed on the label?

If there is no label on the device, follow these steps:

  1. Insert the device into a USB port on your computer
  2. Open Device Manager (cliquer click on the start ORB, type devmgmt.msc in the start search box and press enter)
  3. Locate the entry for the device.  It may be in the "Network adapters" section, "De Bus USB controllers" section, a "Unknown device" section or elsewhere.  Wherever he is, if you don't have a driver for the device, its entry in the device manager should show a warning icon.
  4. Right-click on the entry and select "Properties".
  5. Click on the "Détails" tab and select "Hardware ID" from the drop-down list
  6. Right click on the second line in the window of 'Values' and select 'copy '.
  7. Paste the data into your answer him

  • Reinstall the network card driver

I am running Vista and recently I started having frequent loss of internet connection.  I discovered that if I disable and then re-enable the network driver, that she would work for a while.  I thought that I should reinstall the driver, so I uninstalled.  Now I can't understand how to reinstall.  I'm assuming that the driver I need is part of Windows, but when I tried to use the Vista CD to install the driver, I couldn't find in the list of drivers.

    Thanks for your help,

    peterson85

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/laptop > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.

The computer you are using now if you have an Internet connection with the other > download / save drivers > copy them into Flash Drive > transfer / install on another computer/laptop.

    See you soon.

  • Prob with the network card driver after installing vmware tools

    Hello

I have 3 ESX 3.5 Update 3 and a VC 2.5 update 4.  I've updated an ESX for release 3.5.0 153875. I've also updated the customer vlmware on each virtual machine on the esx server. When I restart the machine virtual (Linux Redhat 5.2 or Windows 2 K) or Windows2003, I cannot ping the vm for +-5 minutes from my pc, but it works if I do a ping to a virtual machine in the same vswitch. If I disable/enable the network device, I can ping directly.

If I remove the vmware-tools I can ping directly after a reboot...

    Thank you for your help

Very strange.  Try to use a different type of NETWORK adapter, enhanced vmxnet and see if you see the same behavior.  There may be a bug with the latest version, and if the problem persists, you can open a SR with vmware.

  • Tecra R10 - where can I find the network controller driver?

In the other devices of computer management, there is a network controller.

Could someone tell me where I could get the driver for this device please?

    Hi MButIer,

-How long have you had this problem?
-Was any change in software because the computer before the show?

    Follow the steps mentioned below:

    Step 1:

Temporarily disable the antivirus software (and any other security software) and the firewall on the computer as a test. Once disabled check if you can connect to the internet without any error.

If disabling the antivirus software solves the problem, you may need to configure the settings of the antivirus as a result program. Please contact the software vendor for assistance in this regard.

Note: Make sure that you enable the antivirus software, other security and firewall programs.

    Warning

Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Step 2:

Perform a System Restore to a point before the show and check if this solves the problem.

  • Satellite A500-15N: could not find the network adapter XP driver

    Hello world

I just blown away vista on my new A500-15N and installed XP + SP2.
The installation went well but I have some problems with some devices does not.

They are: 3 x of the device Base, 1 x Ethernet, 1 x network controller controller system, 2 x PCI device, 1 x controller Bus SM, 1 unknown device x and 1 x video controller (VGA Compatible).

I thought that I would be able to load network card drivers in order to allow access to the internet and then be able to download everything, either automatically, or manually. But I can't have any network card to load drivers!

After loading some on the Toshiba web site, it makes no difference.
I deleted and then to detect automatically the network card in Device Manager, but I can't find any drivers installed to run.

Anyone know what I can do to fix this, or any other issue?

    Thank you

    Hello

Do you need the card network LAN driver Wlan or both pilots?
As far as I know the piece of LAN card is Realtek (1 Gbps) and the Intel 5100AGN WLAN.

The WLan driver can be found here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/?page=downloads
    Intel PRO/Wireless 3945, 4965, 5100, 5300

The driver LAN on the Realtek page:
    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/

You can consult the page of the European driver Toshiba. Other series of laptops use the same Realtek LAN card and the driver should work too.
