  No need to reset the prefs. Just grab the handle on the left options bar, drag it to the menu bar and drop when a thin blue line appears between them. The options bar behaves just like any other Panel in this regard.

• What happened to the ability to hide the "mobile dash" (CTRL/CMD (H) in Photoshop?  I can't see the edges of my selection with the mobile dotted lines in the way!

  I used Photoshop since version 2.5 when it came to 16 disks.  In all versions I've bought over the years (many) up to CS3, I've always been able to use CTRL + H (Windows) or CMD + H (Mac) to hide the "mobile dash" edge of the selection.  This is extremely useful when doing all sorts of adjustments where the outline of the selection must be considered while "fiddling with the buttons" (so to speak).  Without being able to hide the limits of selection ("mobile dash"), I often have to get a better idea, cancel the selection, get disgusted that the edge is not what I want, then have to cancel, select new, try again... over and over again.   It is a SIMPLE feature, but the lack of it, driving me crazy.  HELP, I tried, but it doesn't have the height of the promise.  If there is a way to hide the dotted moving line, where is the menu item, and what the shortcut?

  You can assign Ctrl/Cmd-H to hide the edges of the selection (Edit > keyboard shortcuts) only, if you want to hide everything, but you will be notified if any other function has the shortcut.

  I just changed from a tablet to a Surface pro - my dilemma is that I need to install mobile Chase app to deposit cheques however I am unable to download and install because even if the surface is a mobile device is not a "phone".

  This is a dealbreaker for me because I used my Android device to drop several checks on a daily basis and if I can't do it with the surface I will need to return it.

• Need help networking Lab Manager

  I'm having some problems with the implementation of a closed network and to be able to access the external environment of the fence.

  We have a production environment that I cloned for use for testing and development, so we have to our QA and Dev staff to be able to RDP to the virtual machine and to be able to run scripts from their PC in the environment of LM.

  The implementation of models and the creation of the configurations are made and the VM can all see each other on their internal network. All IP addresses are exactly the same, as they are in the production network (IP address of 192.168.11.xx).

  I created a network physical and fenced (192.168.208.xx IP address) by using the static method - Pool of IP and static manual Options, set the default gateway of 192.168.208.1 and linked to a virtual switch on the host computer that is connected to one of our basic physical switches. The port, we connect uplink to switch, is in it's own VLAN and has the IP address of 192.168.208.1 and allow us the IP to the DEV, QA VLAN but not the vlan production by using access lists.

  When I deploy the configuration, network fencing itself and I can see the virtual router using the VI client, however, I cannot ping the addresses or RDP at all on 192.168.208.xx LM Beach assigns to the configuration of the VM. The virtual machine inside the configuration, however, can ping those addresses natted (as well as internal addresses).

  I managed to connect to the virtual router and I noticed that the 2 interfaces are both on the 192.168.208.xx network. We shouldn't be on the internal range of configuration (192.168.11.xx) in order to make routing / natting correctly? What do we lack?

  When close you a physical network, the vRouter resumes the internal address of the physical network IP pool. When you connect a virtual network to a physical network, the vRouter returns to the internal address of the virtual network IP pool.

  It seems to me that your virtual machines were given to the 192.168.11.xx with manual option static, right? In this case, the router will again resume an internal address from the pool of the physical network (think about it, where else would he get all this?). Your needs, create a virtual network with a range of IP addresses in the 192.168.11.xx address space as there are enough IPs for all the virtual machines in your configuration and an additional IP for the internal NIC. of the vRouter use the option "Connection networks to physical virtual networks" while deploying.

  Have 7410 HP all in one.  New macbook, OS X.  Cannot scan.  After much research, I think it comes down to the fact that I need Director for Mac.  I am printing and fax very well.  Cannot find the Manager software anywhere.  Have you tried original Hp and HP printer software update installation disc.

  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.   I tried to scan the area of the Image, PhotoSmart, but get error that it is impossible to initialize the printer and go set up to the Director.

  Thanks – IT WORKED!  I think that some the most of the problem was installed several.  By uninstalling and from scratch, everything works.

  RDP ports are open on the XP boxes? The RDP service runs on them? I'm not too familiar with it on SBS, but could check those.

  I need help to understand how NetImageTracker works. What I want to achieve is to download the images into listview, but I'm trying to use it directly from C++. What I have right now is declaring a new ImageTracker Net and then I use the function imageSource, but for some reason I can't pass my url in there.

  So I have

  NetImageTracker* nit = new NetImageTracker();
  
  nit->setImageSource(QUrl(feed.value("url")));
  

  but I don't think that the way it was suppose to work. the feed.value ("url") is a json file I upload to the web

  You will need create a NetImageManager instance which will use all the NetImageTrackers:

  To all:

  NetImageManager * manager_;

  In the constructor:

  manager_ = new NetImageManager (this);

  When to create ImageTrackers also put their parents so they will be automatically destroyed as well as parent:

  NetImageTracker * nit = new NetImageTracker (this);
  or
  NetImageTracker * nit = new NetImageTracker (manager_); If you want to define manager_ as parent

  Configure ImageTrackers with instance of NetImageManager:

  nit-> setManager (manager_);

  Set the URL of the image to load: (use setSource, not setImageSource because it contains the result)

  nit-> setSource (QUrl (urlString));

  Connect to the imageSourceChanged signal and when it starts to get the URL of the uploaded image.

  In the signal handler:

  NetImageTracker * Tracker = (NetImageTracker *) sender();

  QString urlStr = Tracker-> getImageSource();

  QUrl url = QUrl (urlStr);

  This url can be used in ImageView

  Tracker-> deleteLater(); possibly destroy NewImageTracker because it is no longer necessary

  I have done some research and see you cannot pin a menu near the top of a mobile Web site, but is there a way to get around this? I have mobile pages long and find even though I have designing a headache to go back to the top. I need a way to have the menu at any time to my mobile site. Is there a work around that?
