It's very frustrating to have a relatively new portable device that I used all THE TIME (having had for only 13 months) and NOW, being not able to use it AT ALL, and STILL LESS AFFORD to PURCHASE AGAIN ONE BECAUSE IF IT's A COMPUTER ERROR, there is no guarantee that a new device will not be subject to the same errors and problems.  I haved tried to download and install the software on 4 different computers and have even replaced USB cables.  HELP ASAP PLWASE!

  You mean 32-bit of course.  The default browser on Windows 7 is the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer 8.  As long as you continue to use this, Flash Player will install and work fine.

  For a better understanding of the App question, did you do last changes on the computer before this problem?

  This problem could occur due to these reasons.

  1. Because the Windows Store Cache corruption.
  2. If Windows Update services are not started.
  3. Because incorrect settings.

  Try the steps listed below and see if it helps.

  Method 1:
  I suggest you to clear the cache to store and check if it helps.

  a. press on ""key Windows + R ". "

  b. type wsreset.exe , and then click OK.

  Method 2:
  I suggest you to manually start the Windows Update services and (BITS) Background Intelligent Transfer Service. Check if it helps.

  a. click the Windows key + R and type services.msc.

  (b) and press enter.

  c. in the services window scroll down for Windows Update Service.

  d. right-click on the service and click on Properties.

  e. make sure that the Startup type is set to Automatic and the service status is started.

  f. click apply and then click ok.
