  For some reason any "themes of change", "change screen saver", "change the colors thΦme" or "adjust screen resolution" is no longer opens when I click it.  It was working yesterday before I updated my computer with "Windows Ultimate Extras" and "Service Pack 1"... and when I look at the updates I can not even find on my laptop.

  Can you move to the following location and double-click the file to system restore? (Or you can type the name of the file (rstrui.exe) research and press enter). Make sure you just navigate to this place and see if it is present.

  C:\Windows\System32\rstrui.exe

  The following steps will attempt to fix any corrupt or missing system files. The analysis will take 30 minutes to run. At the end of the analysis write the message it tells you and let us know.

  ·         Click the Desktop button on Pearl (Start)

  ·         In the Search box , type cmd, don't hit enter (if cmd is not, go to your file system tools and right-click on the command prompt and run as administrator).

  ·         Right click on cmd.exe and select run as administrator

  ·         In the command prompt, type sfc/scannow

I installed the import/export addon, but always without success. Is it indeed possible please?

  Import of account to Windows live mail never made Thunderbird... partially because there is little demand, and partly because Microsoft not to change.

  However if your accounts are with the largest suppliers outlook.com, hotmail, yahoo etc. or the large national ISPS and then set up your account is probably as simple as enter the e-mail address and the password. (There are often problems with poorly reported passwords. It is anti virus firewall clutter it and an adjustment for the firewall to allow the Thunderbird gets things on track)
