• Strange problem with password created on my Satellite L20

  I bought a Toshiba Satellite L20 laptop with model No. PSL2XL-01R007
  I registered the password using the Toshiba help utility that has been placed on the desktop, using the secure user function.

  After stop of the laptop and turned on, it prompted me to enter the password before it can start. When I entered the password which I thought I had entered windows using the Toshiba help utility under secure user, it gives me a message of invalid password whenever I try to enter the password. So I can't use my laptop. The BIOS is the Phoenix.

  I tested it today with my Satellite L20-182 and everything works fine. I tested the options for the user and supervisor passwords, and there is no problem at all.

  Sorry, but I think that you enter the wrong word as password and this is the reason why you cannot start the laptop. I really put t see any other explanation.

• Problem with password protected content Migration

  I just did a migration (11 hours after a lot of questions and problems - "transfer" is BS) I had to finally buy an external hard drive so that it can work because it failed several times with a network and a connection cable - regardless, I did it and now the new PC requires a password for the old account to access the protected file which includes Outlook and VERY important e-mail I have this.  Problem is it is a PC at home and had no password but who do not accept the new pc.  Can someone tell me what I'm missing here?

• help-problems with Mac book since the upgrade to Yosemite

  I have a 13 "Macbook, end of 2010. It is used to run perfectly until I installed Yosemite in late 2014 when he started to run slowly and Safari would crash. The problems have got worse with each update. Now when I boot, I get a white screen with a progress downstairs bar and it may take between 1-3 minutes before I get the logon screen. Programs also take a long time to load and I constantly get the rotation beach ball.  I don't have any external hardware attached and am does not have any software that needs to use a lot of RAM. • Need help - problem with the installation of the Office

  I really hope that someone can help as I have spent HOURS trying to solve this thing with Palm Desktop (DP). My family lives and breathes out of this Palm.

  First of all, I have a Palm Treo phone for half of the year, but a user palm for 4-5 years. I used Datebk6 with absolutely no problem. About three months ago my phone got wet and shorted dirty keyboard. I ordered a new keyboard, installed, and everything was fine. Not sure if this is related, but mentioning the bears.

  Then a few weeks, something has happened. I'm not sure if I've updated something or another user of the computer in the House has done something. Palm desktop, account opening, two icons on the left side of "Palm Desktop" - media and install. No calendar, notes, tasks, all functions that I use. I couldn't print calendars more.

  So first, I uninstalled the Democratic Party amd reinstalled the period off the drive. The Democratic Party looked decent with a calendar, etc., but this version had the "quick installation". When I installed the version on the net which solves the problem of Vista 6.2.2 he placed all my third party apps in an incompatible "apps" folder and the Democratic Party shows install yet once just the icons and media. Once again, no calendar, tasks, memos. However, the phone and its applications still worked OK, everything was there - then...

  I thought that maybe the problem is hotsync during initial installation, so I reset the phone to the original factory settings (erased). Distributed with uninstall and reinstall and it happened again. DARM duration with just the media and install it. No option to open an archive. Previous versions the Democrats have the calendar etc, but of course now without any data. Version 6.2.2 has no calendar, tasks, todo etc.

  I need help. someone at - it suggestions? Where can I go? I need this problem.

  maramac - check if the UAC has been reactivated (User Account Control).  I read in other posts that these latest Windows updates have reactivated UAC on PC of some people of.

  This could also cause the problem you are experiencing.

• [HELP] Problem with the restoration and recovery in the new host

  Hi, guys!
  
  I have tried for two days, but still can't make it work.
  I took a hot (online) full backup archive as well as the control file logs with the SPFILE and then copy the backup to the new host with the same directory structure and parameters. Finally, I tried to restore and recover the database on the new host, but failed during the restore process.
  
  The original host and the new host have the same subject Oracle installed until the patch level. I couldn't understand the solution to this problem based on my knowledge on Oracle DB.

  In short, the RCS of the controlfile will be generally higher than corresponding SCN of the data in the event of hot backup (online) file; However, the two SNA will be the same in the case of cold (off-line) backup. Am I entitled?

  Yes, it's true. In a backup cold (assuming that the CLOSURE was not a SURRENDER but was NORMAL, TRANSACTIONAL, or IMMEDIATE) all files in the database (data files, redo log and controlfiles files) are 'compatible' - at the same point in time, to the same SCN. In a hot backup, the files are updated. RMAN is not necessarily take all the data files at the same time - for example when you have several data files, RMAN would backup the files in batches of 4 or 8 - data files are therefore controlled at different points in time. Similarly, the controlfile is saved last.

  Imagine that you have a document with a hundred pages and all pages contain an image and a text box with individual photo credit / description.

  The script is paste each image text box in the description of the images via the bridge - great, fast xmp and I have never seen anything like this elsewhere

  Now, there's a problem: the script removes all forms of breakts hard/new line the credit, but I need sometimes.

  I'd like to get rid of the ReturnWithSpace function, but it seems that it is a bit more complex.

  If I can make a comment, the XMPScript API is separate from the bridge DOM, if your script could avoid to call bridge.

  InDesign is able to load the required library - new ExternalObject('lib:AdobeXMPScript') - and to deal directly with the XMP data.

• Please HELP * problem with dynamic regions ADF...

  I have 2 separate workflow in my application. 'Search-user-flow' & 'create-user-flow. I got to view these feeds in my main application (home) as a dynamic region with 2 dynamic links.
  
  My page main split into two panels where I suppose to display dynamic links on the left side and the workflow right. Want to display the default search feeds loading the home page, and when I click on the link for the user to create, create flow must be exposed to the right side. Please help me how to do the same. I was halfway through the path, but not totally.
  
  Here's what I've done so far.
  
  Step 1) creation research-user-flow (this stream were only page fragments not pages)
  Step 2) created create-user-flow (this stream were only page fragments not pages)
  Step 3) slide / move the search-user-flow in right panel of the main page as dynamic and created new "searchFlow" managed bean and the same card.
  -(After this stage, the main research stream fragment appears in my main page)
  -(Managed bean created taskID entry and the method)
  
  Step 4) slide / move the create-user-flow to the left side panel as dynamic link.
  Step 5) slide / move in the research-user-flow for left side panel as dynamic link.
  
  During the loading of my main page, I could see 2 dynamic links in the Panel left side and 1 flow to the right side panel. Now when I click on the Create User link, it's pass the stream and display the stream of the 2nd on the right. So far so good. Now, if I hit any link here after an error. Please help me how to solve this problem and make the works of dynamic region. It is really urgent and fight with past 4 days...

  OK so I've had this laptop for a while and it has been great until today. I'm unable to connect to wireless internet. After reading around online for a quick solution (which I didn't), I have this to offer... I have a ralink RT5390R 802.11bgn wi - fi adapter. The drivers are up to date and the status of the device is:

  What can / should I do? Help, please!

• connection printer MG7520 problems with password, and the new name of the router

  I had to change my router network name and the password (the actual router is the same, but the network name and password is different). Now my Canon MG7520 won't 'talk' to my lap top, room rvia wired or wireless LAN (that worked before). My guess is that I need to "tell" the printer name and the password are different, but I know dn't how.  I tried to download the software and run it (that is to say, all over again) but when I do I get an "unable to acquire information on the driver and software.

  Any suggestions?

  Yo are quite right that any time changes to network configuration, the printer must be given new items.  The printer can be connected directly from the operations Panel, and I have included full instructions HERE.
