Help! Technician of inexperienced Lenovo?

I had artifacts displayed on my computer laptop B480 model 20140 when I tested Aliens vs Predator D3D11 Benchmark while the other laptop with the same model and type (or any other laptop with geforce 610 M) does not artifact using the same clock, while I need to downclock the clock of the video memory of its normal (900 mhz) clock to 800 mhz in order for the artficat to disappear. A new installation of windows/program/driver doesn't fix it, is clearly a material defect.

It's been a week that my cell phone is held to the lenovo service center located at JL. Pluit Timur Blok L Barat No. 25, Jakarta

But, when I called the technician, he said that the laptop have no problem * sigh * this technician seems to be the lack of experience to tell if a video card is faulty or not, even when he saw artifact during the AvP (Alien vs predator dx11) Benchmark test on my laptop.

Yes, is there someone here who can help me to gets my laptop fixed so I don't gets artifact as any other portable B480 model 20140? (or at least helped me said the technician how to differentiate a defective video adapter and a normal) My serial number is WBxxxxx391

Finally, I am able to recover my laptop!

A few days ago, I asked the store where I bought the laptop to contact the Service Center because my phone calls never is picked up.

And Friday the the person in the store was furius because his phone calls be taken up also, so he went to visit the SC and ask directly, it seems that my laptop (and a Lenovo desktop computer he put there too) already finished but that SC provide never any information on this subject, and their phone call is difficult to achieve It has become very annoying for clients because this SC never give an estimated time required to fix and only said "we will inform you when it's done" which apparently customers inquire as promised and customers able to contact by phone or by any other means is (other than to visit this SC)

From this experience I surely don't want to go to a SC that offer this kind of service because it can be frustrating asked to wait "indefinitely" and does not notify when it's done and impossible to contact the SC also-_ -.

In any case, create a topic here in this forum without doubt helped me not gets my laptop fast fixed since no Lenovo answered here in this topic, I just want to update to the latest state of my laptop.

    I am very frustrated. I performed a clean installation of windows 7 64 bit on my y480 after buying a new SSD. Later, I was able to install all the drivers. However, when I try to use the fn key to increase and decrease the volume, I have more see the volume bar animation.

    Even with the following:

    1. on the screen caps lock icon

    2. no feature for onekey theater button

    3 no animation to the button mute.

    I would like that all of these features in turn. I tried searching for Lenovo Energy Management Software, but couldn't find Installer for y570 and 470. Energy management has worked for only the animation volume, then stopped working all together.

    In addition, I tried to install onekey theater, but even if I manually open the icon 'start onekey theater', there is no functionality in any key.

    I can't find software for Lenovo Enhanced experience in the part of the drivers/software from the support site.

    Please help with this. Everything is resolved with this new facility except for this.

    Hauppauge support gave up. They never seemed very interested. TV card has been deleted, but its not returned.  Nothing on the computer that is supposed to produce a sound made.  Video functions on the TV card are fine.  TV card is now back in.

    I recently bought via ebay a X 220 Tablet described as factory re-built (and I think it is). It works and everything would be fine, except that the BIOS is not a serial number and the number of the machine. These none of the drivers, downloads and dignostics will register on the machine that the research shows that these figures have questioned the pilot missing settles.

    I have contacted the seller and I try to create the factory re-furbish details and go this way to see if I can get the back numbers but I think that I can not and the only way is to get a new motherboard installed and make sure that information is installed this time.

    I contacted the technical support of Lenovo who cannot help you because there is no guarantee (neither series/product number).

    If anyone can help with the details of a service agent in London (South/West) reliable that exists and can help. The two officers that Lenovo Tech gave me could not help on the X220T or were "not available".

    Yes, the Committee has its own serial number and this is what is needed in the bios.

    Without a serial number of machine, it raises the question of why the jury was changed in the first place?  Why was the machine serial number and removed model number?  This label has not just dissipate.  It is not any OEM that I know that works on any machine that does not have a serial number.

    If the device has been damaged and the Board of Directors and the bottom of the case had to be replaced, then the bottom of the original case must have been included in the sale.  Maybe it was an oversight, perhaps not.  There is some responsibility involved in a repair if it wasn't.  I had to replace a low case several times and I still spent some time scratching this label with a razor blade and attach it to the new deal.  Anyone reputable service would do the same thing.

    I'm sorry to have to go through this for a good machine.

    Now all my problems are solved after I asked them to change the CPU this time. I understand that they changed the card mother for me the first time is because there nothing wrong with my old mobo, it is the cpu that vice. So I have to blame intel lenovo not :-)

    I have my laptop (Lenovo W520) in the month of August, a few months later I realized that my laptop is defective; CPU stuck @ 800mz, but this problem has been corrected with the bios update. Then another big problem arises, a lot, a lot of blue screen of death 0 x 00000124. It is related to the CPU or the motherboard.

    I contacted a Service authorised of Lenovo in Cambodia and brought my laptop it 3 times.

    • First time I show the receptionist my BSOD because it happends right after starting the laptop, after 2 weeks, they said that they have cleaned up the dust in the laptop and could not find any evidence on the record of service to the center of the Viet Nam process. I pick up and use a few hours.
    • I went back to the centre and insist again, the problem exists and asked them to go ahead with the replacement of the motherboard. After a few days, they said they saw the error and treat the mobo replacement, asked me to wait for 10 days.
    • Today, they called and told me to take me the laptop confirmed has replaced the motherboard, I was surprised that the team could do this job in 7 days.

    When I'm back home, I did different test as I used to do before. Just make the laptop run maximum performance, then I got the blue screen. I doubt if the motherboard has been replaced, so I check the CPU - Z then my VID core always same mv 0.0745 idle. Then I dug more deeply and lucky enough I have a saved file before I take to the service.

    I noticed that the serial number of the motherboard is the same then I open the ram on the bottom slot and from old things, therefore my conclusion is that the authorized Service of Lenovo in Cambodia has lied on the replacement of the motherboard.

    I also see another problem, Capslock, Mute, Mic, Power LED does not work.

    And my question is should I continue to use this service and get the best service? And my laptop error (including the error led) is still guaranteed?

    I have written in this forum, but not much helped. I hope I get better support for now and please answer me.

    I don't think that the core VID would change with a motherboard replacement.

    The CPU itself is perhaps at fault instead?

    Swapping out the motherboard probably takes an hour or two for an experienced technician.

    Lenovo contract stores local tech to do the job. If you are looking for a Lenovo authorized service center, you should be able to go there and ask them to fix it in person.

    The problem is solved finally. The culprit was the cable that came with the pack of USB. I replaced it with my Moto X cable that is thicker than that which is expected and my tablet started to load

    What you can do-

    (1) download a copy of windows (from Microsoft or another Internet site) that has been installed on your system. Create a bootable floppy and install fresh windows.

    What does "glued to the opening screen? Make sure that you charge your phone and full load try to start it again. Should work. If it's not, and you are stuck on the boot screen you most likely need a recovery mode, but be warned that a recovery mode would most likely delete all your data. Maybe this can help:

    I just followed the advice given on disabling the built-in battery, but, unfortunately, it does not meet my request.
