• How can I stop the InDesignCC crashing when you try to change the text

  I'm in an office of 5 users and all 5 of us have the same problem with InDesign CC.  Whenever we get to anything having to do with fonts, InDesign crashes.

  (1) create a new document, select the text = Crash tool

  (2) open an another InDesign doc try to assign fonts for missing fonts = crash

  (3) select text objects in an InDesign doc = Crash

  I can modify the object, the paths and images. It occurs when they are Associates/text fonts.

  We use FontAgent Pro 5,028 for font management, but I tried with and without the FontAgent plugins installed.

  This is the accident report.

  Any ideas?

• Screws disappear from the windows taskbar when running

  Hello!

  It is a strange happening in the world when running LabVIEW 2014 or 2015 on Windows 7.  When the VI property-> the appearance of the window-> Custom-> customize-> box 'allow to minimize the user window"is unchecked the VI disappears from the taskbar when running.  It is moderately annoying, anyone know if there is a good reason for this behavior without papers?  Other than to keep the box checked, is there another way to prevent that from happening? I don't really feel like swapping through all possible combinations. :-)

  I use Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit platform).  Just recently, when I right click on the red X in the upper right to close a window, the window and the cursor freezing for about fifteen seconds.  The window then closes, and the slider works normally.

  This happens to my office, although my laptop (same operating system Vista, except for the 32-bit version) works normally.  I use CCleaner on a regular basis, and I have the latest version of AVG anti-virus and Microsoft Security Essentials installed.  This Setup has worked well for over a year.  This problem appeared only in the last 24 hours.

  First, as soon as the computer and then restarting it later in the day, the question has not repeated itself.  I had read on Google that people with this problem a couple of years, were not so lucky.

  I have not addded any software, except to perform Windows updates usual a week ago.  The suddenness of the appearance of my problem led me to believe that these patches were probably not at fault.  When I went to log on to this second time, I had planned to restore the system to a previous backup to see if that gave me work around the problem.  However, it was not necessary.

  No error message appears when the problem occurred, and the problem was if I was in the office or on the Internet.  Nevertheless, I intend to register your comments useful diagnosis for later use, and for your efforts, thank you very much!

  It's like the original stylesheets in css documents someway implemented cache and does'nt update to any switch.

  Is the purpose of being able to edit the css file, and then press a key or press a button "recharge style" on the user interface and see the models updated? I don't think that's really the purpose of the css style: intent is really that the css file that will be provided in the your application jar file and never even extracted, both and edited and reloaded. (It can even be converted to a binary format that is faster to load).

  That said, however, the following works fine for me. (JDK 1.7.0_25, JavaFX 2.2.25). Run the application, you see the label in blue. Edit the css and save (without leaving the app), press the button reload the style, and you see all changes take effect. Who does not work for you?

  Update: of course, this code will not work if you combine this as a jar file and run it from there. getClass () .getResource (name) produces a URL that represents a resource loaded from the same location as the class underway (in this case the jar file), and toExternalForm() that allows to convert to a string. Of course to edit a css won't help in the bundled jar file. (Try to view as follows. Launched from a file system class loader, you will get a file:// url; launched from a jar class loader, you will get a pot: / / class loader.)

  Now, of course you have something of a headache of deployment; you will need to make sure somehow that there is a css file in the correct location - outside packaging jar - as part of the deployment of your application.   We have two portlet based on two ADF workflows.
  We add these two portlet on our page during execution using the web space...
  I mean, dynamically, we add these portlet on my page when running.
  given that we do not have any page design time that can hold these two pages together so
  as per my understanding between these two communication portlet is not possible by using the contextual action (using the producer and consumer).
  Anyone may provide some pointer how to facilitate inter portlet communication in this case.
