Help to access the blocked account Hotmail

My daughter has been blocked since her Hotmail account.  A few weeks ago, she tried to log into his account and she received a message saying that Microsoft believes that someone is using my account and she had to verify his identity.  The problem is that the questions on the form are questions she can answer because she had the account for so long and don't remember not much information she gave when she first set up the account.   It responds as fully and completely as possible, but she keeps a reply back that there is not enough information.  We found a site where we could email and talk to the people at Microsoft.  They informed us that they will not take phone calls home to check who's daughter.  My daughter and I have provided a list of more than 25 emails received in this account, which must still be in the Inbox.  One of these emails came from the law, let him know that his test results was ready and it has not been received into that account up to December 23 and has not been opened because he was sent at the time that his account has been blocked.  Absolutely no one would know she was expecting that email if they were not him.  They still won't give her access to his account.  We are desperately seeking advice that anyone here can give us.  It has submitted applications for college and scholarships all registrations than e-mail.  She is currently taking classes in college for dual credit and receives all its information from there to this e-mail.  She only uses email for important communications about the school, but the places she submitted as email to are just to many for us to save and to give a new e-mail address.  Somebody, please help us!

We cannot help you, we are just members of the public just like you.  However, I can tell you what helped me many years ago

It was around 2005 or 2006, I remember exactly. I fell for a phishing attack - I've been tirkced by typing my password into a fake website which looked like Microsoft, but was a fake. They used to access my account, buy a ton of Xbox games and more. I reported it, and Microsoft quickly locked the account because he had been the subject of fraud. They me refund all the money, but never unblocked the account. Then when they did, they foolishly sent me confirmation of it on the account has been locked. It was like saying "hey, we have your car to the shop, and we locked ékes inside you th.". Grrr.

They could not be made to understand that I could not access the account as they were telling me that my password was. I tried for days to explain this concept.  I ended up having to open a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which could get him degenerate and finally find someone with an idea to call me.

Something has gone wrong when changing my user accounts. I don't have an administrator account can create a. I can't even restore my system. It doesn't let me do anything! What to do Help!

You use the built-in account named "Administrator"?  If so, the behavior you describe is "a feature, not a bug."

Windows XP hidden administrator account when a user account is created (because it's a good idea not to use administrator systematically; it should be saved for emergencies).

You access the administrator account integrated differently depending on whether you have XP Home or XP Pro.

    For XP Home:

You must restart in Mode without failure.  Restart the computer and start typing the F8 key as soon as the initial startup process is finished.  If you see the Windows logo, you waited too long and you have to restart again.   If you do it right, you will see the white Advance Boot Options menu on black (image).  Use the up/down arrows and the Enter key to select Mode safe because your mouse does not work on this screen.  Once the computer starts in Mode safe mode, the administrator account will appear on the Welcome screen.  If you have not changed the password, the password is blank (no password).

    For XP Pro:

Follow the signs for XP Home Edition, or in the Welcome screen, with no logged-in user, press CTRL + ALT + DELETE twice.  The 'classic' logon box will appear.  Type "Administrator" (without the quotes).  Once again, the default password is empty.

Once you enter the administrator account, create an account with "computer administrator" privileges for occasions when you need (for example, to run the system restore or create accounts).  You can use any name you want (other than Administrator), such as MyAdmin.

  • To access the other account via external hard drive

MacBook Pro (13 inch, early 2011)

    V.10.11.6 El Capitan (15G 31)

To summarize what I've lived, I got a kernel panic, by connecting to any account. So I tried to fix it by zapping the PRAM and NVRAM, tried the reset SMC, and both did not work. So I installed El Capitan on my external hard drive and it works, I just need to access the other account on the Mac to recover photos and then do a clean set install.

The problem is that I do not know how to access the other account on the mac like I did not move any info from another acc to my external hard drive. Is it possible to do more than to reconfigure my HD post and return to the new installation procedure? Or I'm able to get pictures on the other account with the photo software?

Open the drive containing, then the folder users, your record of departure, and photos. If you encounter a file that you don't have access permission, either drag it to the office supply your administrator password, or select the entire disk, choose get the information in the file menu and set to ignore permissions or ownership.

  • Cannot access the MSN account on cruise but was at home

    Original title: Edit profile

I was on a cruise and tried to read my e-mail using the system on board the ship. I have been unable to access my e-mail address because I was asked to provide security. One of them has been my year of birth, in 1937, but the system says that it wasn't the right answer. He asked me my favorite writer, or something like that, and I don't remember giving this MSN when I opened my account.
I also tried on one of the ports of call, and it was the same thing.  Both cases, the system told me I've tried too many times.
When I got home last night, I was able to access my mail with no problems. I found an e-mail from MSN account auditing Services (which I think is wrong) telling me that my account will be suspended if do not react quickly.
How can I view my profile so I can see what security issues I gave MSN probably 10 years ago.
    Thank you.

    Hi MaryWilson,

Possibly the user account is corrupted; I suggest you try the following steps to correct the corrupted user profile

How to copy data from a corrupted to a new profile in Windows XP user profile

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/811151

  • Need to access the user accounts from previous installations

I am running Windows XP Pro, and I have installed new software.

When I have it ran for the first time my PC crashed. Now, whenever I try to load it up it just keeps restarting before you get to the login screen. Safe mode does not help you, or doesn't last known good configuration. There is no recovery point recorded.

I searched online for help and tried to repair the Windows version by inserting the CD and choose 'Repair', but there is no repair option. He wants me to install a new version of Windows on the partition, which, from what I understand, going to wipe my user accounts. It would be a big problem, as I have a lot of data out there that is very important for me who is not saved. My fault, still backward, etc. No not after the sympathy, just stating the facts!

I also have Windows XP 64 is installed on a separate partition, and I loaded this up to see if I can see the user account I want to access. I can. But I can't access it because it is password protected, and it just comes up saying 'access denied '.

So, how do I gain access to this user account? Doing anything to the working version of XP64, either by repairing the other partition inactive?

All welcome, no matter how much of a long shot it is advice. I'm getting desperate!

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Malkeleah,

I had real problems trying to get Knoppix to work. I downloaded on my laptop, then had to put on a USB key to burn on the PC with Win 64 on (portable DVD player is read-only), but I couldn't do burn. I kept of burning errors using the built-in burner after first unpacking the ISO on the laptop (no support ISO native in Windows XP), or when I tried to install on win 64 the system burning software I got error messages saying: the software wouldn't run as soon as I clicked to install it. And Yes, I checked that I was using the software compatible 64-bit! No idea what it was, the 64-bit version has never really been used, not even well why it is installed.

In any case, after that much hitting my head on the office followed a couple of pints in pubs, I managed to find another way around this problem, which was to take ownership of the files according to the instructions on the Microsoft Web site:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx/KB/308421

It worked wonderfully for me, and I have been able to support Windows 64-bit, re - install XP 'normal' and then appropriated again under that. 2 files come with errors and would not sell the property, but they were not even remotely important if everything is good. I got literally thousands of other files that flies over without any problems.

In any case, thank you for taking the time to help me, I'm sure that your method would have worked if I had been able to create a CD (I would have posted off the coast for one if everything else has failed because they will send one in the world for any $2 IIRC), but for someone else who did a search and found my ad the above that I mention is worth a go as an alternative method.

And no, I didn't have the encrypted files. Just locked the account of some simple password protection.

    Thanks again,

    Chris.

  • Cannot access the user account

I recently sent my computer in my college of departmental it to update some software. They could not access my account due to a password. They bi - passed this by making two accounts 'Test' and 'comments'. If I'm going to one of these accounts I can go to c:\Users[user-name]\Music\iTunes\iTunes and I can see my old account named "owner". However when I connect 'owner' is not an option for a click for a login account. All my old files are always under the account of 'owner '. How can I get back "owner" as I use an account to which?

Read this and see if it helps:

Difficulty of a corrupted user profile

After creating the profile, you can copy the files from the existing profile. You must have at least three user accounts on the computer to perform these operations, including the new account that you created.

  • I have Windows 7 and cannot access the administrator account

I am unable to enter my administrator account because I accidentally put the wrong password in place.  I don't remember to save my life.  Unfortunately, I do not have a disk or anything else as a backup so I don't know what my other options would be.

I really, really need to access my photos and files from the admin account.  Is it possible that I can recover?  Help, please!

We will put your computing experience on a more solid basis as follows:

    • A Windows repair CD is absolutely essential if you decide to do maintenance on your own PC. It takes only three minutes to burn a via the control panel / backup and restore. Given that you have never created one before, you now have these options:
      -Burn it on another computer.
      -Borrow one from a friend.
      -Buy one here: http://systemdiscs.com/
    • Start dieting solid backup on an external device. With your valuable photos right on your PC takes a lot of unnecessary risks.
    • Create, test, and document an alternative admin account, as you have a spare House key. It takes less than a minute.

When you have your CD to repair Windows, then you can solve your current problem as follows:

    1. Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
    2. Start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
    3. Press a key when prompted to boot from the DVD.
    4. Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
    5. Select 'Repair' when prompted.
    6. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
    7. Configure Windows to a point before you changed the password.
  • Unable to access the user account

I have an old computer, but it is always useful.  On startup, I get this message:

"Windows cannot load the locally stored profile.  Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a damaged local profile.  If the problem persists, contact your network administrator.

DETAILS - an operation i/o initiated by the registry failed irreparably.  The registry could not read, write or flush, one of the files that it contains the image of the registry system. »

What can I do to access my account and My Documents with all my stuff in it?

    Thank you very much!

Try to find that the problem with the user account is probably not worth the time it would take. Restart the computer in Safe Mode. When you are prompted, choose to log in to the administrator account. Go to control panel > user accounts. Create a new account here. Name anything at random for now. Now navigate to my computer > C drive open > Documents and Settings folder. Your old user account. Now locate all records containing your files. Copy and paste them in the folder appropriate for the new account. Now delete the old account.  You can now change the name of the new account name you had in the old account. It is probably the best way to fix it.
